What are people saying about Reykjavik

The pick up was smooth....
The pick up was smooth. Our tour guide Alain was very knowledgeable and you could tell he was very interested in making this experience amazing for everyone on the tour. He knew so much about the history of the Iceland. The stops were well timed for us to see everything. The blue lagoon was our last stop which was very relaxing. If I were to do the blue lagoon I would bring flip flops/sandals and a bag for my wet swimsuit. The Gullfoss was just amazing. The walk was steep but definitely worth it. I highly recommend this tour and Alain as the tour guide.

Very professional! ...
Very professional! Provided everything we needed for a fast trek through the ocean. Saw some incredible dolphins and lots of puffins. The whales were uncooperative but it didn’t seem to matter. We had a great time! The boats really moves through the water.

Enjoyable experience
Our driver was Paul. 14 of 16 passengers boarded the minibus. Two canceled. The public address started shorting out after only 15 min, so Paul played music thru the Bluetooth. We did the tour differently by stopping in Hvolsvollur for a toliet break, then going to Skogafoss Falls for 45min, then Reynisfjara black sand beach for 30min and lunch in Vik for 1hr. The sound system got better and Paul provided a running commentary of historical information and local color. Next was Soheimajokull glacier tongue with an hr to walk 1 mile to glacier & return. Paul provided more info. Last stop was Selgafoss for 45 min where I donned my rain pants & coat so I could walk around and behind the waterfall. Great experience. We arrived back in Reykjavik on time at 7pm.

Golden Circle Tour should be on your checklist
This was an inspiring trip along the south coast of Iceland. We stopped first at a greenhouse with a grilled tomatoes for the island and it was fantastic. Seeing the growth of this industry and the amazing way they keep the island fed. We next visited the geyser area with its steaming femorals. It was exciting for the whole group to stand together, waiting for the geyser to go off and take pictures. The golden waterfall and the national park are inspiring. My wife and I truly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a convenient way to see the highlights of this area of Iceland. And each stopped there are bathrooms and food available. The quality of food varies from decent to great depending on where the stop is, and as usual in Iceland, it is expensive. But no more expensive than the same items in town.

Iceland is one of the best places in Europe to see whales. Visitors can see the majestic marine mammals on Reykjavik whale watching tours year-round, especially from April to September. Departing from Reykjavik, whale watching tours take guests out onto the bay and beyond in search of humpback and minke whales, as well as orcas, dolphins, porpoises, and seabirds—including puffins in summer. Your options include traveling by yacht, speedboat, or rigid inflatable boat, and in midsummer you can go whale watching under the midnight sun.
