Had an amazing experience got amazing photographs. Not many folk can say I love you to their partner under the lights. Our tour guide was Jessica and she was lovely + extremely informative about how the lights happen and the best ways to capture them. Hot chocolate provided also. Be sure to book this tour as we got an amazing surprise at the end! 😋 100% worth the money I'd have paid even more for this experience. Driver was very road safe as well. They definitely deserve the 5 stars given.

One of my Iceland highlights, a total bucket list event

This trip was recommended by travel companions we met in Iceland. The experience was incredible and while it cost a bit more than other Northern Lights experiences, I can see why. The driver works with a "central command" to identify areas in the sky without clouds, and compare that to solar activity. They knew exactly where to drive and we went to multiple locations. Unlike other tours which are set to go to one location, this tour will take you wherever the Northern Lights are brightest. The drive was knowledgeable and fun, informative and also took amazing pictures of all the attendees. Included in the trip is the professional pics that were taken during your tour.

Worth the wait!

Our guide (Simon) has been chasing northern lights for years. He knew what he was doing. He was kind, patient, informative, and committed to the experience. We waited longer than usual to see them, but it was worth it. You need to have accurate expectations- to the naked eye, they will appear mostly like white sparkles in the sky, but with your own iPhone camera, you will see the color, and if, like this tour, your guide has a professional camera, you will get the vibrant photos you see so often. Our tour included a stop for snacks and a bathroom break, and then the guide kindly left the van running so we could go back and forth between looking for lights and getting warm. We stayed out until 1:15 a.m. to finally see them. So with the drive back to Reykjavik, we did not get in bed until 3:30 a.m. I recommend booking a leisurely day after your nighttime tour. And you cannot be guaranteed to see them, so be ready for that.

Thought this was well worth the money, we got very lucky with your views this night. I would highly recommend it to anyone and also would recommend braving the cold and sitting on the top deck for the best views. Also thought it was great that they sent photos to us afterwards as well.

Awesome tour! Bring a sweater

Amazing experience, the guide did a great job finding activity. It can be very windy and cold (Iceland in the winter, crazy right) but being patient outside revealed amazing pictures. Get familiar with your phone settings so you can get out and start taking pictures, the auroras moved fairly quickly, came and went in a few minutes at a time even on a clear day. Still absolutely stunning, 100% worth it.

Excellent combination tour of Lava Tunnel and Northern Lights

The guide (from Austria?) at the Lava tunnel was amazing and engaging. Wonderful person! The cave is interesting to explore. Helmet, lights and spikes provided. Several steps to climb but nothing crazy. Hiking/waterproof boots recommended. Free hot chocolate and lave shaped chocolate are a plus! Afterward, the Arctic adventure guide Palli took excellent photos of the Northern lights! Excellent driver as well. 10/10 Highly recommended. Crossed bucket-list and saw northern lights on first try! Restroom available on site at the Lava Tunnel.
