Don’t miss this tour!
This was an excellent, well organized and diverse tour, seeing amazing waterfalls, hiking, seeing beautiful rugged landscape of Iceland, including many glacier views, and best of all was lunch at the tomato farm and the best ice cream I’ve ever eaten in my life at the dairy farm!

Excellent tour company and guide Iceland
An excellent tour to see the highlights of the Golden Circle. Bus Travel Iceland was well organized and the minibus (small group tour) was clean, comfortable and in great shape. Our guide, Mikki, was excellent! He is knowledgeable, personable and friendly. He explains things clearly, answers questions thoroughly, and was a definite plus for the experience. Our tour did the typical Golden Circle stops, and added as options the Fridheimar farm (Icelandic horses and greenhouse tomatoes & vegetables). We did not have high expectations for the farm, but were very pleasantly surprised - they were both very interesting and lunch at the farm was very good. The usual sights on this tour (volcano crater, geyser, Gullfoss waterfall, tectonic plate junction) need no further accolades from me. They are all well worthwhile. For future tours, we would definitely seek out Bus Travel Iceland and Mikki if available.

Great tour to see the hard to get to spots.
As everyone says and is stat d in the booking - this is a very long day. Pickup and drop off were great and on time. Large bus of people that travels all day together. Number of stops were good. Most time is spent at the Glacier Lagoon, which is worth it. I would ensure your kids can sustain a long trip like this before taking them. There is a lot of time spent in the bus. It is minimum 4 hours each way out to the glacier. The tour company, tour guide, and company did a great job. If you are looking for a tour to get out to Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, and Vik then I recommend this one.

Lava Tunnel Amazing!
Be prepared for a walk over wet, uneven stones. Good sneakers or hiking shoes a must! Well worth it to experience this natural wonder. The guide was very knowledgeable and as a retired Earth Science and Biology teacher, I found the formation of this natural wonder fascinating!

South coast wonders
This was an amazing adventure. Was able to see all the main areas of Iceland on our list. Raining a lot but the tour guy and bus driver brought us to areas of less rain in the area first and then back to the other spots so we were able to see all the sights and take amazing pictures

Great tour of Reykjavik
Luca was very friendly and informative. He knew a lot about the history of Reykjavík. He did an excellent job communicating prior to the tour with information about where to meet- this was super helpful since we had just arrived in the city and did not know where we were going. Overall, I would recommend this tour- just make sure you wear good walking shoes and dress appropriately for the ever changing weather!

This was an excellent...
This was an excellent tour. The guide Baldvin D. was incredible. He is Icelandic, highly knowledgeable, happily answered all of our questions, offered detailed, interesting information about each site, and kept everyone on track (bus return times) with humor and patience. The scenery on this tour is spectacular. The pacing was just right. There was ample time to have lunch on our own, and there was a morning stop to get snacks and coffee. Opportunities to use restrooms at each site if needed. Bring waterproof pants (can find inexpensive ones that go over your pants) and jacket for the waterfalls. There’s a lot of spray. An umbrella is also a good idea. Weather changes on a dime. I think I would’ve bought a sandwich at the morning coffee stop for later because lunch options are $$$. That’s just Iceland in general. Bring a water bottle. Icelandic tap water is excellent; no need to buy water.

Glaciers and Diamond Beach
It was a great experience. As everyone would say a long day though and you can’t see as much. But one needs to know that if you are planning for one day then it’s a long day. Our guide Benedict is a very nice and knowledgeable driver giving as much details as possible. Great job Benedict.

I would love to take this tour again—led by our expert guide
I would definitely take this tour again, and though a half day was wonderful, a full day would allow more time at each incredible stop. Our tour guide, Paul, gave a lot of background and interesting stories about the dramatic natural features and also about life in this region. The heights of Thingvellir National Park overlook a pretty town of significant importance in Icelandic government and education. Gullfoss waterfall is stupendous, comparable to Niagara Falls but more wild and woolly. The Geysir geothermal area is fun, watching bubbling hot water emitting clouds of steam, and waiting, hoping to get a photo of the moment the big geyser roars to life. I spent a day on the South Peninsula tour, which was very nice, but I definitely enjoyed the Golden Circle tour more.

Great day, great staff
Had a great day, kind and patient tour guide. The destinations were interesting and diverse. We left an item on the bus accidentally and the company were able to get hold of the tour guide who returned it to us, which was hugely appreciated. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Great experience. Highly recommend
Lagoon experience was amazing.
Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

Great Tour
The tour was very well run and covered all the sights as were described in the description of the tour online. Sunny, our tour guide, was exceptional in her description of each site and also giving recommendations on which way to get the best views. Szymon our
driver was a true professional.
