The transportation that was provided was not clear on the stops and the times. Part of this was the festival in Reykjavik that altered bus routes. But the bus driver from the main terminal to the lagoon (Reykjavik Exploration) told us every 30 minutes for pickup. He was wrong. It was every hr. After standing in cold rain for 35 minutes as we could not enter back into the Sky lagoon (which was quite nice), we ended up paying for a taxi (6450 ISK/$54USD) rather than wait another 30 minutes. Ridiculous since we had already pad for transporetation. There were 8 of us from 3 separate groups who had been told the same 30 minute pickup.
The SKy Lagoon with ritual was quite nice. Just book it directly and arrange your own transportation.

Terrible service. They didn’t pick us up, wouldn’t cover the taxi we had to pay for, and ignored the photos and videos proving we were there. They left us stranded and then acted like it was our problem. Never again.

What a disappointment! This was to be the highlight of our trip to Iceland. We were at the designated pickup location prior to 5:30. Transportation never showed. Viator said we could pay for our own transportation to the Sky Lagoon. We have used Viator successfully all over the world for many years. Do not book this. Viator plans to keep our $400.

The transfer was a little bit of a challenge to find but we managed it. The Sky Lagoon is absolutely beautiful! All of the facilities are very clean also. The 7 step ritual is well worth it too. Absolutely must do I. Iceland!!

What an incredibly insane location. The publicity photos do it no justice at all. The spa and 7 step rituals is a must for any one visiting Iceland.

Beautiful place. Husband loved it, I liked it. Had to rush to get the last bus at 2030 which defeated some of the purpose so don’t go too late and allow enough time. We were supposed to arrive by bus at 6pm but the bus got there at 630.

Pick up at cruise port was smooth. The lagoon is clean, beautiful, unique, and an experience only had in Iceland. You can stay as long as you want at the lagoon and the bus picks up every hour to return to cruise ship ;as long as you purchase transfer).

This experience is amazing! The 7 step ritual is unque and adds to the enjoyment of the experience. The lagoon was wonderful and the views from the infinity edge are stunning. This is a wonderful alternative to Blue Lagoon if you are in Reykjavik as it's so much closer that you won't have to spend a lot of time driving back and forth.

get to know what to expect from the time you enter the Lagoon.
Also, carry a print out of your ticket for Viator transportation. One driver was very accommodating and the other was not!

They will be using public buses which means you are stopping several times and had to go to bus main turminal to get another bus. We spent way to much about 1 hour each way,

We planned sky lagoon for the day we arrived from US. Such a great experience. Highly recommend it! Two days later my skin feels so soft and hydrated. The 7 steps were great! I had no desire to do cold plunge. To my fellow cold plunge haters I say DO IT! I would definitely do this again. Staff was very polite and helpful!

Excellent facility. A very big spa area, and beautifully clean and well presented. Lovely view. The 5-step ritual is worth experiencing. Be advised all steps in the ritual are negotiated by oneself. There is no staff interaction. Very well organized. The change area, lockers and showers are spotlessly clean. Remember to take your own towel. A suggestion is to take a waterproof phone cover if you would like to take a photo while in the spa.
I was on a ship and the ship anchored at a port which was not a port that Viator had listed, and I had organized to leave from. I only realized this the day before. Viator went out of their way to help me change this and organize another pick up point from which I could walk to from the port. On the way back, the bus driver even walked with me through a bus terminal to make sure I got on the correct next bus to take me back to the port. I wish I had taken note of his name. Thankyou. Fabulous help. Viator were great.

Sky Lagoon itself is absolutely stunning! So much better than the Blu Lagoon which we did a few years ago, and the seven step Ritual is well worth it. My husband was impressed and it’s rare for him to say that.
As for the transfers, not so impressed. We went to the bus stop that we were told to go to, and when the bus turned up they had no idea what we were doing. Fortunately they agreed to take us and then dropped us off at the main bus station and told us to wait until the actual bus turned up, which was another 30mins.
A message a few days earlier had said we’d only be dropped off at the main bus station coming back, which meant a long walk back to our hotel.
We gave up on the return and got a taxi back.
With hindsight we’d have just taken a taxi there and back. We wasted so much of our day with the transfer situation, which was a shame as it slightly spoiled what was supposed to be a nice relaxing experience.

Lovely facilities and very nice experience. women's locker room does not have separate changing area, but changing out in the open is preferable to using a bathroom! Good, big lockers and plastic bags are provided for your wet suit when you leave. Over all, a very relaxing experience.

It was awesome at the lagoon. 7 step ritual was fabulous. Only complaint had pick up included but the return instructions were weak but we did make it back to the ship with asking different people

The sky lagoon was a remarkable experience. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Two things I would improve upon to help the comfort of your clients.
First an improvement on the flooring to make it less slippery. As a senior, I felt I was going slip most of the time. Abrasive strips or non slip floor would be helpful.
Second, signage to clearly mark the location of the different categories of change rooms (Saman, ser, private). Particularly the exterior steps into the thermal lagoon should be marked on the exterior walls above each entry. Finding the steps would be easier with arrows. This signage, of course, could be produced and appropriate to the themed atmosphere of the facility. Thanks for listening.

It’s gorgeous and relaxing! Staff were mostly very pleasant and very helpful. The only one that wasn’t was the girl (at the exit point). She was very rude and also hard to understand. The bus ride was a bit confusing, as we had to take 2 buses (a transfer) to get there. Coming back was better-she took us straight back to the cruise ship. Also, the few things that were confusing resulted in my leaving my jean (denim) jacket there . CAN YOU ASK THE STAFF AT THE SKY LAGOON AND THE BUS DRIVERS WE HAD IF THEY FOUND IT AND COULD CONTACT ME AT 561-358-9191?

We were so surprised how beautiful the Sky Lagoon was, including the 7 ritual steps. I highly recommend going on this excursion. We were picked up at the cruise terminal. I loved the private dressing room and shower, including the private lockers.
