Lovely experience!! The facility is clean and the dressing room and showers are very nice. You have your own locker. You enter the springs from indoor area by stairs. The springs were warm and felt wonderful, the 7 step ritual was very nice! Go later in the day and stay for the sunset. The views are breathtaking.

Such an amazing experience from beginning to end! The 7-step ritual is a must and takes an already relaxing experience to the next level. Even without the ritual though, simply soaking in the lagoon is still completely worth it. The water was perfectly warm and, unlike what you may hear about other lagoons, my hair was totally fine afterward. The staff were kind, organized, and kept everything flowing seamlessly.

It was Clean, very relaxing, fun and beautiful. The seven steps was a relaxing fun experience. The views are beautiful and the water falls around were so pretty. Lots of coves to relax in.

Opportunistic Tour Operator

My flights were cancelled on the day of the activity, so I was unable to travel to Iceland. It was not only my own flight; all inbound flights were cancelled on that specific day (20 March 2026). Even after I explained the situation clearly, I was advised to contact Viator. When I did so, Viator informed me that a refund would not be possible, as the operator was unwilling to authorise one. I believe this reflects an opportunistic approach towards a traveller placed in a disadvantaged position. I would advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this operator, as this raises concerns about their professional standards and overall approach.

We enjoyed the lagoon at sunset the best. While the ritual was okay, most won’t find it to be worth the price. Found out later that they have local indoor/outdoor public pools that give a much cheaper option BUT If you’re looking for a good tourist experience this is the one I would recommend.

Terrible Viator coach pick-up arrangements (we had to book a taxi)

Sky Lagoon is fabulous. But this Viator tour is NOT the way to experience it. The joining instructions were very confusing, and we missed the coach pick-up because of this, and had to book a taxi ourselves at our own expense.

Sky Lagoon is a must do

The 7 step ritual is unique to the Sky Lagoon and its renewing to both body and mind. The Lagoon facilities are clean and easy to use. The actual lagoon is warm, spacious and well designed. We went there twice and I highly recommend it.

Perfect way to unwind after a long flight into Iceland. We purchased the 7 step ritual, not cheap but a worthwhile experience if you take time and make the most of it. Nice swim up bar with soft drinks and adult beverages. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Not a lot of directions despite lots of people working. Stunning scenery especially at sunset. It would've been nice for each of the steps in the ritual to be explained - what does it for what is it for? Relaxing though. Cocktails were great albeit expensive.

We purchased the ‘Ser’ package including lagoon access, the Skjol ritual & private changing room. The changing rooms were exceptional, the lagoon breathtaking & the Skjol ritual was extremely relaxing. Definitely to be recommended & conveniently located on the outskirts of Reykjavik.

Very convenient transport and nice Spa experience.

Transportation from our hotel was close by. Be careful with the wording. Your pick up time is 30 minutes prior to your reservation time. Thankfully there are reservations every hour for this experience and we only had to wait at the central station (BSI) for 30-40 minutes. Transportation back was good, but depending on your hotel you will be dropped off at a more central stop because the larger bus cannot get to the other locations due to size. Sky Lagoon was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 7 step ritual and the thermal spa even in 40 degree Fahrenheit weather with rain.

Sunset venture to Sky Lagoon

Good experience! My friend and I had separately been before. Loved the new improvements to Sky lagoon. We got to see a long sunset as well! I finally tried the cold plunge and it was worth it. The transport was good and we were excited to not have to rent a car to do this experience.

10/10 experience. The sky lagoon is amazing, I and the 7 step ritual is definitely worth the price. We experienced all weather whilst there, sun, rain, and a snow storm!! The water was hot, clean, and so soothing. I’ve been to the blue lagoon too but would definitely say the sky lagoon is better! Only thing which disappointed me was the restriction to 3 x drinks per person - especially as the cocktails were small but delicious!!

Sky Lagoon was an absolutely perfect way to end our weekend in Reykjavik. We went after sunset with the rain and wind battering us but under the warm water it was all the better and sitting having a beer looking out towards the sea was just fantastic.
