We did the 7 step ritual experience. You can do whichever steps you want. I skipped the sauna part because I don't care for saunas. For anyone that can't get out to the blue lagoon, this is a nice option. We actually did both and they were both great. You can swim up to the bar and look out over the water. It's a nice relaxing warm water experience. I would highly recommend it.

7 step ritual lasted about 15 minutes. It was nice but note it was worth the money. Outside pool was warm but very windy

The seven step ritual was laid out beautifully. I felt so relaxed by everything and genuinely had a great time during it all, and I usually dislike saunas and steam rooms. These ones just felt better. The staff at the swim up bar was very friendly and patient, answering my questions about the drinks available.

We had 2 nights in Iceland. Wished it could have been longer so we could have gone to Sky Lounge again. It was an amazing experience!

This is my favorite of the various lagoon experiences. While it was busy, it never felt crowded. The Ritual experience is a great indulgence. I strongly recommend Sky Lagoon!

One of the more restorative highlights has been visiting the sky Lagoon. The setting alone is remarkable. Beyond the lagoon itself, I spent time moving between the natural sauna, spa, and steam rooms, which felt both grounding and rejuvenating. The entire experience is thoughtfully designed but still very much connected to the natural environment, which makes it feel less like a traditional spa and more like an extension of the landscape.

Great experience, relaxing and rejuvenating Icelandic experience. I’m glad I went on my first day after my red eye flight, it started my day off great and I was able to feel refreshed after sitting on the plane for hours.

Loved it. Checked in an hour early than our time as we arrived at 4 instead of 5. Went for sun set but no sun, got busier by 5.30. Very accommodating. Gorgeous clean changing rooms. We booked prior and had private rooms with own shower. Did the 5 step rituals. Would return if we ever go back.

Amazing place. Spectacular views. So relaxing. Very clean. 7 step ritual is well managed and fun to do. Highly recommend. Worth booking "Ser" private changing and shower facilities. Great swim up bar too. Never felt so relaxed!

I normally do not like to be wet and cold. This was a pleasant surprise and a great thing to do after a long flight. The staff was very pleasant upon entering the place. We weren’t sure where to go for the 7 rituals. Everything was very clean.
The sign in the shower and directions to shower before entering the water is very clear but there was no soap, only shampoo and conditioner. It would have been a nice touch to offer some moisturizer too.
Otherwise I would highly recommend doing this during your stay in Iceland.

This experience is wonderful even when the weather is terrible. Keep in mind that the weather changes constantly. I was happy that we booked this instead of the blue lagoon because it was so very windy, like a hurricane and there was rain which at times was hail, but the sky lagoon has places to hide at behind rock walls while still in the warm water, until the weather gets better instead of being so out in the open. Also going into the water you don't freeze, it's partially indoors. However, going to the 7 step ritual, which is a must, you do have to brave the cold and get out of the water. The sauna is absolutely gorgeous with the wall of glass looking out to the sea. If you could afford to pay a little more, the private dressing room with shower was great. The weather did clear up for us enough to enjoy everything there, patience is key. ** Important** wear a hat or your head will freeze. we wore simple waterproof sun hats and those were great in keeping our heads dry in all the rain and shielding from hail, sunglasses are necessary too. Also protect your phones with a waterproof case, so you don't have to buy an expensive one there. The drinks just taste like juice, I would opt for beer or wine. Overall, you shouldn't go to Iceland and not do this!

Bring water shoes for walking in the shower and dressing room. Book close to sunset if possible, the view of the setting sun is unbelievable.

Again, lesson learned. This app charges more than booking direct or what others were able to pay for the same services. I had to wait 15 min to get in so they could consult with the manager to find my booking.

This was the first activity we did on our first evening after arriving in Rekjavik and it was an incredible start to our trip! We all needed this to shake off our long travel day and it helped rejuvenate us! Very highly recommend doing this as a welcome to Iceland. We had our two teenagers with us and it was lovely for all. The Sky Lagoon sells delicious mocktails and cocktails to enjoy in the lagoon and the seven step ritual was amazing. This was the only lagoon experience we did and even considered returning on our last day. A must do!!!

Sky Lagoon was an incredible geothermal spa experience. The water was perfectly warm and so relaxing. The seven-step ritual is a must—it’s the best way to fully experience Icelandic culture. They also have drinks, food, and a great gift shop, and the changing rooms felt like a luxury spa. Definitely worth it!

Great experience overall. Very nice facilities. Only complaint is that everyone in our group of 4 all broke out with raised hives after Sky Lagoon even though we fully showered before and after the experience. Not sure if it was the water or the salt scrub during the 7 step ritual. The cleanliness of the lagoon water is questionable since it is not chlorinated.

Make sure you do not plan this as a family activity with children. We arrived at Sky Lagoon with our son(12) and daughter(10) and were told that they do not allow children under 12 to enter. When we requested a refund they took a picture of our confirmation number and said their accounting department would review it and we could call back if we don’t see a refund after 30 days. We ended up going to the Blue Lagoon instead and the whole family had a great experience

Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The 7 step ritual is a nice add on. We went on a very windy, cold, and snowing day and we still had an amazing time! Much less crowded than the blue lagoon if you're looking for a more relaxing vibe

It was a nice place. The 7 step ritual is nice, but it passes really fast! The sauna was too hot for me, but I loved the steam room, the cold mist, and the drink at the end.
The view of the place is really nice and it has a good size pool just to chill. The day we went the weather wasn’t the best one, but the place protects you partially from the wind which was helpful. We bought the Ser package, and we had a big tall locker, and a private space to shower and change. I would do it again
