Awesome tour with exceptional driver and guide!

Great driver and guide. Guide’s name was Ummur (sp?) and I won’t even try the drivers name. However, driver was very smooth and comfortable ride. The information provided by Ummur was outstanding. Very knowledgeable of the history of the country as well as the geography. Also had a good sense of humor and magically kept appearing with an answer when we had a question. Scenery was exceptional as was the learning experience.

I saw this experience on Instagram and I knew I wanted to do it. I had a twelve hour layover in KEF and planned to do this tour during my time. You get to see important landmarks around downtown Reykjavík and try amazing food. Our tour guide, Ben, taught us about Icelandic culture too as we were going around the city. It felt like a conversation and the time flew so fast. As a solo traveler, Ben helped me and others feel at ease and welcomed. This felt like exactly what I saw on Instagram. It was fun, interactive, and delicious. I did also see Ben in one of their social media advertisements! I love knowing that the people behind the company are also representing the company online and in person. It’s authentic and makes it so much more enjoyable. I would probably do this tour again when I plan another trip to Iceland!

If you do one thing in...

If you do one thing in Iceland, it should be this. Highest recommendation. Groups are limited to six people (I think that's Silfra's rules) which makes for a very personal experience. Our guide was so thorough and friendly. The photos he took were incredible. I had no experience snorkeling previously and should add, it's taxing on the body. The medical waiver they send is legit. Anyone can do it, but just know it's more than just floating there. If you do this, make sure to take a sip of the water! The best I've ever tasted.

Very worth doing. Rosa...

Very worth doing. Rosa and Yusef did a great job. The geysers were impressive and Strokkur went off so often that if you missed the last blast, the next one was only a few minutes away. The Gullfoss allows you to get close enough to feel the spray and get some lovely shots. And finally the crater, if you're able bodied, you can still take the path all the way down to the water of the lake inside.

An Absolute Must Do in Iceland!

This is a MUST DO! Ease of operation with transfers from a nearby bus stop and convenient return trip. Sky Lagoon is a picturesque slice of heaven that you have to experience. The lagoon overlooks the water surrounded by rock walls with a moss covered roof for the 7-step ritual. The sauna inside is the most beautiful one that I have ever seen. The staff direct you through each step of the ritual and then you return to the lagoon for a drink or more time to spend in the warm water. This was an absolute trip highlight and a truly amazing experience!

Relaxing Day at the Lagoon

This was a great relaxing experience. I would definitely book the Ser experience, with private dressing room/shower. I liked booking through Viator since it made it so easy to edit my time. Would recommend. I did prefer the Blue Lagoon over the Sky Lagoon, but the views and the ritual definitely made this a unique experience.

Easy meeting point...

Easy meeting point location, close to the concert hall with plenty of restaurants around if you want to eat before or after the tour. The boat was nice and had two indoor decks and two outdoor decks. They provide the best coveralls, so warm and waterproof (it was raining when we went) I was sad to take it off at the end! There is not much to eat on the boat so definitely eat before (we took the 1pm tour). There are alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the views were wonderful. We did see a whale close to the end when we were heading back. It’s definitely worth doing, any glimpse of a whale is amazing.

The pick up was extra...

The pick up was extra busy as there were multiple buses picking up in the same location so you will need to be patient. Most of the buses had the tour name on the front which was very helpful. Our tour guide was Dooley who is from Iceland and had wonderful stories not just about the history of Iceland but about his family and his childhood which really brought the area to life. The tour is very fast pace but you see so much in a short amount of time. You still have time to enjoy the scenery. Dooley also stopped at a couple extra spots which enriched the experience. He also really enjoyed the experience which helped us enjoy it more. I would definitely recommend this tour and the tour guide Dooley.
