Rain or Shine, An Unforgettable Fjord Experience
Don’t skip out on this one! Maria, our guide through the fjords, was excellent—super informative and easy to talk to. We even got to chat with her about our next adventure chasing the northern lights, and she shared some really interesting insights. The fjords were absolutely beautiful, and don’t let a rainy day stop you—it’s usually on and off, and honestly adds to the experience.

Amazing Norway tour abd cruise with Travel North
This is an amazing tour with extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable guide, Synneva and driver, Beethe..
The places were so beautiful and Synneva kept us informed about the sights and history. Absolutely a fantastic trip with Travel North. This is such a great way to see more of Norway in a day trip.

Just do it - great hosts and scenery
What a fabulous trip. We were so lucky to have a clear day with blue skies and made the most of the stunning views. The host John was just lovely and he came and sat with me for a while chatting about the locality. I was also lucky enough to be invited up to the captains deck and even had a go at steering the ship! Book this trip, it was brilliant!

The most amazing tour
We travelled with Bjoter (I think I spelled that right) on February 21st. It was the most incredible tour. Very comfortable bus, a well organised day. Our tour guide was so amazingly friendly and knowledgeable and we learned so much. He is also a great photographer and took some amazing pics of us for our trip.
If you’re in Bergen this is a must do to see the amazing nature of west coast Norway.

A Must-Do Tour
Excellent tour and amazing experience. This all-day tour is a must-do. From visiting a Viking village to a fjord cruise to the scenic Flamsbanna railroad. The guide was excellent, providing narration and information the whole day. We did the tour in February and were prepared for the weather. There was food and drink on the Ferry ride to Flåm and plenty of indoor sitting space. We spent our time on deck though to take in the sights. The train ride was spectacular, and we spent much of the time taking pictures out of the large windows. The return train to Voss was quiet and comfortable. The bus was well appointed and comfortable. The tour ended right on time, giving us an opportunity to have dinner at the nearby fish market. Highly recommended for a scenic all day adventure to see Norway’s stunning scenery.

A must walking tour!!
Bryggen is an absolute must-do when visiting Bergen. Walking through its narrow wooden passageways feels like stepping back into medieval Norway, with its colorful, leaning Hanseatic buildings telling stories that stretch back over 700 years. The atmosphere is both charming and authentic, and you can almost sense the merchants who once traded along the waterfront. It’s not just a row of historic buildings — it’s the heart and soul of Bergen, a UNESCO treasure that brings the city’s history vividly to life.

Bergen Food and Culture Walking Tour
We spent a wonderful afternoon with Ole as our guide. Lucky for us, we were the only two in the group! Ole not only took us to great places to experience the local foods, but Ole was also an excellent historian. We learned so much about Bergen and the people who lived there, fought and worked there. A big fishing port, fires, military, royalty, etc. We experienced foods that we never had before such as fish cakes, brown cheese on a cinnamon roll, dried cod, veal and pork soup, apple juice (warm) with whipped cream on top, and ending up in an old pub for Norwegian beer. While sipping on a few beers, Ole explained the history, and paintings in this old establishment, which added to the experience. We highly recommend this tour and give Ole the highest recommendation.

So beautiful no picture will ever do it justice.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. The hike to the lake is stunning and when you get to it it will leave you speechless.
If you are up to it, don’t stop right when you get to the lake. Keep going around till you reach this amazing cascading waterfall that leads right into the lake. Can also go a little further to the beach area if time allows.
Guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Several must-see in one tour
An incredible day including waterfalls, fjords and the Flambana! Special thanks to our guide/driver Thomas for sharing his stories, insights and sense of humor. A perfect tour to discover the Bergen area and enjoy the magnificent Nærøyfjord. West Norway in a nutshell!

Teriffic day seeing the fjords!
We had a wonderful day with Jana! She picked us up at the hotel, and we saw the highlights of Bergen on the way out of town. We had some lovely short hikes to the waterfalls and petroglyphs. Lunch at farm was very tasty. And of course the views of the fjords were amazing. The snacks and drinks we had on the ferry were the icing on the cake! It was a great start to our trip. Thank you so much!

Amazing kayaking day
What a perfect day. Victor picked us up right on time and was the most amazing guide. He showed our small group of 8 everything we needed to know to maneuver our kayaks through the water. He spent time with each of us along the way and pointed out so many interesting things. The lunch afterword was delicious, especially the homemade waffles for dessert. So glad we did this. Thank you Victor.

Beautiful area, see much of the countryside. Great guide/driver too!
Thomas our driver made this a special experience with his knowledge of Norwegian culture and humor! Our family had a great time. The tour itself goes by several places of interest, but you don't stop at every one. Since we had done a flam/gudvagen tour, we had already got the cruise experience, so this was our second tour of a different fjord (which you see from the roads around Hardangerfjord and the quick ferry crossings). It's a bit more driving than the Flam cruise day but we loved being able to see so much of the country and beauty. So many photos! Would do this one again too! Thanks Thomas for a super fun day! woo hoo!

The pretty Norwegian city of Bergen has many nicknames, including “the heart of the fjords” and “the city of seven mountains.” It’s no surprise, then, that so many Bergen tours are outdoor excursions. Marvel at the majesty of the fjords on a boat ride, spend a day seeing the many dramatic waterfalls in the area, or go on a guided hike through the mountains. In the city itself, you can also join a guide for a walk through the historic wharf, fortress, and market.
