Great Tour!

We had an amazing tour experience with Nicholas, he was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor to keep things interesting. He had lots of fun facts and statistics too! I loved that he took us back in the neighborhoods, a place we most likely would not have explored on our own. There were some steep inclines at times, but nothing too hard to handle.

Firstly on a perfect Bergen day (maybe rare?) with GLASS like conditions, sunshine and no wind we were promptly picked up at the collection point by our guide Simon then driven through the scenic roads to the kayak camp once after safety precautions were discussed we boarded our kayak I was a little anxious but Simon was so confident in helping me into position Once on the water we were fine we paddled for about 7 kms through open waters to narrow channels passing quaint cottages confidently led by our guide Simon AMAZING the water was like sheer panels of glass lots of opportunity for photos even our little stop for local Norwegian snacks was special Overall we had the BEST Time THANKYOU

Awesome experience,. for the kiddos, adults, and grandparents!

The entire crew, from ticket takers to the cafe workers, the engineer, and the captain, were so incredible friendly. (My little guy got to go into the crew-only area and learn how they navigate the fjords!). The tourguide did a wonderful job orienting us to the landscape and the people who live in these remote areas, and was so lovely to chat with afterwards as well. The facilities were very comfortable, and while we spent the majority of the time on the back deck (definitely wear your rain gear and pants, no matter the weather, it gets chilly!), it was easy to find space inside as we needed. The turnaround point is truly, truly spectacular.

A great half-day excursion!

I accidentally booked out of Stavanger instead of Bergen. Stavanger is 4 hours away and Viator helped me rebook from Bergen even though I was past the 24 hour no-refund period so I was very grateful. This was a great 3 hour trip. The Electric catamara is very stable and quiet. The boat did stop at certain spots so people could get out on deck and take pictures. They also provided narration in english as we navigated the fjords. Seating indoors was very comfortable and featured ample restrooms and a snack bar. Despite the short trip, saw sone awesome remote villages deep in the fjord. I would highly recommend this trip!

A truly cheerful day to remember!

We spent a wonderful and cheerful day on Bjørn’s boat, sightseeing some spectacular places. The atmosphere on board was great, perhaps due to the boat being the perfect size for a smaller group. We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful local nature, meeting other travellers, and combining the experience with a delicious lunch served out on the water at Bjørn’s hidden gem.

Excellent tour!

The Flam train experience was wonderful, and loved the fjord cruise as well! We were fortunate to have some sunny weather on the fjord. The Viking Village was interesting as well. The view of the surrounding waterfalls and the waterfall stops were fantastic. A 5 out of 5 stars for our guide, Maria, and our bus driver as well!

Fun in the rain.

The weather for our tour was overcast with light rain off and on. Typical for this time of year. Even so we had a blast. The equipment provided worked well however if you're the first people in the front you may not stay perfectly dry. We didn’t mind since we wanted to be upfront. The driver made it fun and exciting. We would recommend this tour for an up close fjord experience.

Great Experience

I was a little nervous after reading some reviews, but we were very happy after taking this tour. Yes, you spend some time on a bus, but that should be expected when touring Norway. Our tour took us to some incredible waterfalls, a neat boat building spot, and some other beautiful views. We were all impressed with the tour, the bus and our guide. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it. But please understand, you are in Norway, it may rain, you may have to hike to areas for views, and the bus ride can be longer. This trip was well worth it for my family.

Amazing cruise with the best crew

My family and I took this amazing cruise during our trip to beautiful Bergen last month. The meeting point was very well explained, and there was a clear sign on the pier, so the location is difficult to be missed- it's just past by the Fish market. There is a similar cruise, operated by a different company, but the starting time and location are different, so there is no confusion. We arrived early and had the chance to chat with a wonderful crew member, whose name I missed (sorry), she is from England and has been living in Bergen for a long time. We learned so much from her, and are very grateful for her time and friendliness. The boat is very big, with plenty of seating area inside and outside. We opted to sitting inside along the huge windows and to go outside for photos. Snacks and drinks are sold on board, and the crew is among the nicest we have encountered. There was also a live commentary on board with fun and useful information about the areas we were passing by. In certain areas the boat stopped and they opened the front deck for photos, which made for an incredible experience on the 3.5 hours journey. The weather was perfect- sunny and as warm as it can be in late April. The views along the way are stunning- lovely colorful homes, snow-capped mountains, blue water, blue skies- what else can you wish for? Do not miss to take photos of Bryggen (the harbour) on the way back: the colorful buildings, the boats in front and the water are a picture perfect!

A really fantastic day...

A really fantastic day which packed in so much! Our driver, Stig, was very good and we learnt a lot from him. The Viking Village was well worth a visit and the fjord boat trip and Flam Railway were very special. All very well organised and everything ran exactly to the schedule.
