Tour guide and he his knowledgeable narrative in the short 1hrs tour was very good. The lava tunnel with the lights, walking platform, spectacular details inside, the silence mode at the end and preview to the extreme tour were all worth it. 1hrs goes by as it was 15min.. Very enjoyable trip on a small boat that gets you very close to the Puffins. It's nice that the guide is a biologist who can speak specifically about the animals, not just someone parroting regular talking points. Bring your own binoculars as there's were pretty weak quality.

Great experience! We saw double humpback whales as well as a minky whale and puffins amongst other sea birds. Because of the small boat we were able to get around very quickly and get very close to the animals. Our tour guide Alex was fantastic and very knowledgeable and was also able to liven up the event with a great sense of humor. He was really helpful in answering our questions and we'd highly recommend the tour and specifically Alex to a couple of humpback whales as well as a minke whale and puffins, amongst other seabirds. Absolutely stunning views underwater. They provide you with a dry suit, snorkel gear, and flippers. They warn you that it is cold (2*C) but the experience is totally worth it! Our guide was great - gave us a little safety briefing and interesting facts about the fissure. They do take some pictures for an extra $20 but I used a go pro and those came out great.

Great Tour

This was a great tour. It was a good mix of sight-seeing and experiences, including the scenery while riding on the bus. The waterfalls were beautiful and we visited some points of interest, however, the highlights were visiting the horse farm and the lava cave tour - both a great deal of fun and a wonderful experience. It was nice to stop for lunch at some point in the day; and given the weather, we were grateful not to have to drive and just relax on the bus, especially after the long day. Would definitely recommend.

Preview of Things To See While In Iceland

We really enjoyed the Fly Over Iceland experience. It gives you a snapshot of the country and basically a checklist of the things to do while visiting. If asked to provide a wishlist, I think it would be nice to add the Northern Lights, and an erupting volcano to the presentation. Those are two things you are not certain to see during any visit to Iceland so it would be nice to see them on the Fly Over experience. Otherwise it was great.

Worth the Experience!

This tour is a great and safe route to go if you plan on experiencing a unique part of Iceland especially if you’re going solo or with a friend. The mountains are glorious to experience up close, the waterfalls are breathtaking, and the small towns are fun to witness. Good value of money too if you want to get the most out of the South Coast without worrying about parking fees, planning, etc. Well worth the trip if you pair this with a trip around the Golden Circle.

Great first fishing experience in Iceland

Awesome first fishing experience in Iceland. Both my wife and I caught a lot of nice cod and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The mates, Otsgir (may have misspelled his name) and Samuel were both great and super friendly and helpful. They worked hard to make sure everyone caught fish, especially the kids, and filleted and cooked up the fish and some potatoes for everyone to eat on the trip back in. If I go back to Iceland, I will definitely fish with them again!
