The lava was amazing to get so close and see its properites I had no clue. But, our host was amazingly knowledgable and maneuvered the lava in ways I never expected. So much cooler than the description. Suggestion to sit on the lower level so you can feel the heat.

Unforgettable Horseback Adventure

This was an absolutely wonderful experience start to finish! We opted for transportation from/return to the city, and pick up was less than a block from our hotel and right on time in a clearly marked van. We arrived at the stables and were greeted cheerfully by the staff. They took care to match up guests with horses based on experience and comfort level, and then tacked up the horses once we were paired for our ride. The ride and views were beautiful. (I forgot to start /stop watch at beginning and end but my estimate was about 5 miles that we rode.) It ended up being what we've been told is typical Icelandic weather, sunny, then rainy, then sunny again. We had a beautiful rainbow with the mix of rain and sun. Our guides were attentive and shared with us about Laxnes farm and their horses, and other Iceland tidbits. The horses knew the routine and were so sweet. They seem well taken care of, and we got to reward them with soft, delicious looking fresh bread after the ride! The staff sat with us afterward and we chatted for a while, which felt nice that they weren't rushing us to leave right after our ride. I would definitely book this again if I return, and highly recommend this experience to others!

Great experience!

This tour is exceptional. Its in a nice size smaller bus with a great guide, Hendrick. The geothermal springs, horses, waterfalls - its all magical. But the lava cave is the star of the show! Its totally doable even for slow walkers. I'm just 8 weeks post hip replacement surgery and it was doable. Highly recommend

Super fun experience! We went at 9am and it wasn’t so crowded as the later times. Our guides Adrian and Elsa were friendly and helpful. They provide you with a warm jumpsuit to wear under the dry suit. Even with that, definitely bring thick warm socks and a wool base layer to wear underneath. The views were amazing.

Fantastic ATV adventure

An amazing experience on the ATVs in a small group. Exciting terrain, fantastic views and an excellent guide in Mario. Highly recommend this. Our family of 5 had an enjoyable time. There was a safety video and then we were assisted with our full waterproof jump suit, gloves, headgear and helmet. The collection was very smooth as was the drop off at the end of the day.

Fun way to get an overview of Iceland.

Great way to see a lot of Iceland in a short time. I found myself seeing a lot of places we had been to and also a lot more places to explore. It's so beautiful, got a little teary eyed. The first 2 rooms are sort of schmaltzy. But the fly over Iceland part was great. If you get a bit dizzy, just close your eyes.

The BEST time!

This is a must do in Reykjavik if you love fishing. From the time we arrived at the fishing spot, the fish just kept coming... cod, haddock, pollack! So many fish!!! The team is kind, helpful and just fun to be with. We even saw whales!!! Captain made sure we got close to see them. Then, we got to eat the fish and it was delicious! I definitely recommend this excursion. It was the most fun!

Great Communication and a Fun Northern Lights Experience on the Water

Our Northern Lights boat cruise was a great experience overall. The cruise was initially canceled due to weather, but the tour provider was very proactive in communicating with us and letting us know about the change. They made it easy to rebook for another evening during our trip. The rescheduling process was seamless and required very little effort on our part, which we really appreciated. Once we went on the tour, it was a fun and unique way to see the Northern Lights while also getting out on the water. Overall, it was a great experience and we appreciated how smoothly everything was handled.
