Great day, good coach (power points/comfortable seats) and guide Eric a d driver Anna. There isn't that much time for each activity sometimes wanted longer but it works well and then you have the Snowmobiling on the glacier, breathtaking and again great guides including Thor. Happily do it again

The whole day was very well organised. Picked up from the bus stop outside our hotel promptly and were driven to the main bus station to get on our bigger coach. Our guide was knowledgeable and all the stops were on time and enough time was spent at each. The best part of the trip without a doubt was the snowmobiling experience. Our guide Edgar from mountaineers of Iceland was fantastic throughout, we had some trouble with our bus on the way but he was very informative with us all, took action quickly and still got us to the base camp safely. We had to then switch buses but this was prompt and hassle free. The snowmobiling was the most incredible experience and going over the glacier at sunset was spectacular. All the guides including Edgar were very knowledgable, gave clear instructions and made us feel safe the whole time. An absolutely fantastic day that I would recommend you to anyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of those moments you wish you could bottle up forever.

Iris_R, Apr 2026
We did the Golden Circle tour and it was honestly incredible from start to finish. Our guide Eric and driver Thor were the dream team… caring, approachable, funny, and seriously knowledgeable. They made everything easy and enjoyable, and you could tell they really cared about everyone having a great experience. And with a group of 31 people, that is no small thing. They were patient, organized, and kept everything running smoothly. Then came the snowmobiling… and WOW. Huge shoutout to Kris and his crew because they were absolutely amazing. Before we even got started, they made sure we all felt comfortable and fully understood how to operate the snowmobiles. Safety was clearly a priority, with guides leading at the front, middle, and back the entire time. Riding across the glacier felt like flying through the clouds… surreal, peaceful, and just unforgettable. If you’re thinking about doing this in Iceland, do it. 1000% worth it.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Iris, Thank you so much for your beautiful and thoughtful review — it truly means a lot to us. We’re delighted to hear that your experience was so memorable from start to finish. Eric and Thor will be very happy to know they made such a positive impression — your kind words about their care, professionalism, and teamwork are greatly appreciated. It’s especially meaningful to hear this with a full group, where creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone really matters. We’re also so glad you enjoyed the snowmobiling adventure. Kris and his team will truly appreciate your recognition — ensuring both safety and an unforgettable experience is always their top priority. Your description of the glacier journey is simply wonderful — “like flying through the clouds” is exactly the kind of feeling we hope our guests take with them. Thank you again for sharing your experience and recommendation. We would be very happy to welcome you back for another adventure in Iceland. Best regards, Inga

Amazing & Super Fun

Stephanie_L, Apr 2026
When I book this tour I was like (Dang it, I had already booked a tour for the National Park the next day) but I could not find any other good alternatives that included snowmobiling so I booked it anyways and I’m glad I did. On the day of the tour there was heavy snow to the point where I honestly thought the tour would be cancelled but they did not. However, because of the weather, a drive to the snowmobiling area that they advised would usually take around 45-55 minutes, took us about almost 3 hours because we got stuck (don’t worry they know how to get you unstuck). It was so snowy that we could not see anything, you could not differentiate between the mountains, land, and sky. However, we had an amazing time, and our guide of snowmobiling (Matteo) made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. Matteo was very honest from the beginning, advising us that the path to the area of the snowmobiling would probably take some time, be a little difficult and warned us beforehand about the possibility of being stuck. Thats why, when we got stuck everyone was super calm and just let them do their thing. The only downside is that it was so cloudy and snowy that day that we could not truly enjoy the views when snowmobiling because we could not see anything. However, it was still a very fun, unique and amazing experience. Not scary at all. (Note: if you want a video of you snowmobiling, as soon as you get your outfit go to the desk and ask them for a camera, they have it there. They give you the camera and at the end when you return the camera, they give you a barcode so that you can see a review of the video and determine if you want to purchase the video) Due to the time it took us to get to the snowmobiling area, when we got back it was too late to visit the National Park as we had planed so we skipped that stop. (Hence the reason why I previously said that I was glad I booked twice the National Park, lol). Some of us had a tour scheduled that same day to see the northern lights at night and Eric (Our guide & Driver from Reykjavik Excursions from Barcelona) was super considerate of that. As soon as we got back from the snowmobiling, he asked if anyone in the bus had tours for northern lights scheduled. I myself had a rebook for that same day with the same company because the first time I went to the tour with them I could not see the northern lights. I was suppose to arrive at 7PM to my hotel to prepare for a pickup at the bus stop at 9:30PM, but, since we were late, we were taken to the BSI terminal directly and arrived there by 9:50PM and went directly to the Northern lights tour from there at 10PM so it worked out. Eric was amazing at explaining details and history about the places we saw with him and coordinating so that none of us would lose our northern lights tour. There were also others in the bus who had booked northern lights tour with another company but since they were not going to make it in time he even called his agency to ask if because of the delay they could be booked with his company instead for that same day so that they did not lose the opportunity. Thank you soo much Matteo & Eric. We had an amazing time that we will always cherish. We got double lucky since that day the northern lights were visible. Recommendation: Eat well! Before getting on the monster truck to head to the snowmobiling location since if you get stuck along the way, the tour may take many hours and you wont have where to eat at the snowmobiling location, or along the way. If possible get strong snacks to have at the bus when you return for the snowmobiling specially if you have a night tour for the northern lights. I also recommend getting your own heavy duty face mask. The one they provided me did not cover much & had an odd odor. We departed to the monster truck at 1:40PM and we did not get back from the mountain until 7:30PM, then we had to go directly to BSI terminal without any break because we were late and had northern lights tour at 10PM. So we were without eating since 12:30PM and we did not get back to our hotel until 1:30AM since we had to depart to the northern lights without eating. Everything close to us at the hotel was closed so we could only go to a convenience store and bought food there. So it was a lot of hours without eating. Steph & Edwin From PR

Perfect way to see the Golden Circle highlights

Tracy_A, Apr 2026
We had the best time on this tour. The tour guides were informative, funny, and kind. Iceland is such a beautiful country and this is an easy, and relaxing way to see the Golden Circle. We loved the national park and the geysers but our favorite part, by far, was the glacier snowmobiling (especially for my 9 year old). It was a stunning landscape mixed with adventure and we had an absolute blast and the guides were AMAZING. Highly recommend this tour.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such an unforgettable experience and that the glacier snowmobiling was a highlight, especially for your child. It’s fantastic that the guides added to your adventure. We truly appreciate your recommendation! Best regards, Magdalena

Yet another “best day ever” in Iceland! Definitely more of a snowmobiling experience with a drop of Golden Circle tour, but it was a perfect drop! I was hesitant to book because of the cost, but it was worth every penny! Thanks to Elly & Magnus for being a great guide and driver too!

Memory of a Lifetime, even with crazy weather conditions!

This tour was amazing....

Yvette_d, Mar 2026
This tour was amazing. The golden circle part itself was a smaller portion of the tour due to the snow mobility part of this tour. We stopped at several places for restroom breaks, snacks. Not a lot of time to sit down though and relax or eat, mostly all the eating was on the bus with the quick stops for breaks. The snow mobiling was great, went with my husband and daughter (13) I drove one of the snow mobiles, it wasn't hard by any means, they explain how to use the snow mobile, it was so fun. Be careful I almost tipped over. The bus driver and the guide were amazing, shared Icelandic artists/music loved that, and they got us there and back safely. It was EXTREMELY windy that day, icy roads, so thankful for them.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Yvette, Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review—we truly appreciate you taking the time to describe your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the combination of the Golden Circle and the snowmobiling adventure. You’re absolutely right that this tour is a bit more fast-paced due to the added glacier experience, so it’s great to know you still found it exciting and worthwhile. We’re especially glad you and your husband and daughter had such a memorable time on the snowmobiles—what an amazing experience to share together! And well done for taking the driver’s seat—it can feel a bit adventurous at first, especially in windy conditions, but that’s part of the fun. We also appreciate you mentioning the practical aspects of the day, like the shorter stops and eating on the go. That kind of feedback is very helpful for future travelers when choosing the right tour for their style of travel. It means a lot to hear your kind words about our driver and guide. Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable, and strong winds and icy roads certainly add an extra challenge, so we’re especially pleased to know you felt safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. Sharing local music and culture is something our guides love to do, so it’s lovely that this stood out to you as well. Thank you again for your kind words—we’re so happy you and your family had such a memorable adventure with us. Best regards, Rute

Highlight of our trip

Leah, Mar 2026
Did this with our 6 year old and so glad we did! It was so much fun and so beautiful on the glacier. Definitely takes all day but would recommend to anyone coming to iceland! The tour guide told us at the beginning that this was mostly a snowmobiling experience with a little bit of golden circle. Not much time at the stops before snowmobiling, but enough time to get some pictures (and enough time for the attention span of a 6 year old). Would bring snacks for the bus ride.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hello, We’re thrilled to hear you and your 6-year-old had so much fun on the glacier! It’s great that the tour guide set expectations clearly and that you still had time to enjoy the sights and take photos. Thank you for the helpful tip about bringing snacks! Best regards, Zuzanna

Very frustrated with this company

Marcia_T, Mar 2026
My voucher stated pick up time if 9 am when we arrived at pick up location no one picked us up. Apparently they came at 8:30 after I had to call to ask. This was a very expensive tour with snowmobile I’m still fighting them to refund the snowmobile part of the tour as we didn’t go on it. They gave us another tour without the snowmobile. Very frustrated with this company, will never use them again. Chose other alternatives. They ruined our vacation as my two teenage boys was looking forward to do the snowmobile since we booked it 3 mths prior to our trip. Person I dealt with was very disinterested and didn’t care to help us. Just kept saying I’m sorry but nothing we can do. Ugh I’m so angry at them. I’ll never go back to Iceland very expensive and the people are not the friendliest. I’m from Brazil

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Marcia, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and fully understand how upsetting this must have been for you and your family. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the confusion with the pick-up and the snowmobiling part of your tour. To clarify, we send verification emails daily on the day before each tour with all the details, including pick-up times. Unfortunately, when bookings are made through third-party platforms, we have limited ability to adjust or resolve issues directly, which is why we were unable to immediately correct the situation. We truly regret that this affected your holiday and your teenage sons’ excitement for the snowmobiling experience. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will continue to work on ways to improve communication and service to prevent situations like this in the future. We hope that, despite this, you may consider giving Iceland another chance under better circumstances. Best regards, Rute

Do it, you won't regret it!

Ruth_R, Mar 2026
Great whistle stop tour of Thingvellir National Park geological attractions, mid atlantic ridge, fissures, Geyser and other hot springs, gullfoss waterfall. Our guide Dillon was attentive and knowledgeable. Well paced with educative and folklore history. Really liked that he used a visual time sign for when to return to coach, especially good for those who don't speak English or are ND. Snowmobiling was great fun. It takes lot of strength to control in the wind, with the leaning side to side so you do need to have a basic level of physical fitness. Warm overalls, buff, helmet and gloves were provided on the day. So glad we had taken a bungie to keep the phone/camera safe whilst filming as its a very bumpy ride. Exhilarating and absolutely breath taking scenes on the glacier. It was stunning! Highly recommend lunch at the Geyser visitor centre, one of cheapest we found was self service canteen. There is a water refill point in here too. Toilets available at every stop so no idea to worry when heading out for the long day. Coach was comfy, well heated and had usb points for phone charging. A bonus compared to other companies.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hello, We’re thrilled to hear you had such an exciting and well-organized tour! It’s wonderful that Dillon’s guidance, the snowmobiling adventure, and the comfortable coach all contributed to a memorable day. Thank you for sharing these helpful tips about equipment, lunch, and facilities—they’ll be very useful for future travelers. Best regards, Sesili

Amazing start to finish 100% recommend. It is a long day but it is worth it, our tour guide was brilliant providing facts about Iceland whilst on the coach transfer and answering people’s questions. It ran on a brilliant schedule and the snowmobiling was insane. 100% recommend it’s definitely worth the money!

Golden Circle + Snowmobiling Fun

Adrienn_S, Feb 2026
It is an all day experience, lot of bus time. The Golden Circle stops are really nice. We were caught in a snow storm when we got up to the glacier, so visibility was very little but the snow mobility was really fun. Wish they let us go wild a bit! Because of the snow, our day has extended with almost 2 hours. There is very little time at the waterfall. If you do this experience, always get back to the bus on time otherwise you reduce times can be spent at the stops.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the Golden Circle and the snow adventure, and we appreciate your tips about timing at the stops. Best regards, Magdalena

Worth every penny!

Clare_R, Feb 2026
We were picked up on time from the bus stop we chose and travelled to the Golden Circle for the first part of of our tour. These stops to Thingvellir National Park to se where the tectonic plates have shifted, Gullfoss Waterfall and the Geysir site was quite rushed as we were needed to be on time to change vehicles for the glacier snowmobiling but we checked of the main bits. There was an option to have lunch near the Geysirs but with only a 50 minute stop, I would recommend that you take a packed lunch, see the geysirs and the quickly eat in case there are queues in the cafe. We were met by our armoured looking tank at Gullfoss and changed onto that vehicle which was pretty cool, the drive to the glacier took about 45 mins, they take you to a base camp to get kitted out (There is a small army of staff here helping you with kit) and time to go to the toilet and then back on the vehicle and another 45 minute drive up onto the glacier where the snowmobiles were waiting. The snowmobiles were straightforward to use, the staff there were brilliant and focused making sure everyone was safe and following instructions. The glacier itself was beautiful, peaceful and scenic. One person drives up and then the second person drives back down and you get a good hour on your snowmobile between you. The trip was epic, very well organised and provided us with some stunning photos. We were ready to leave the glacier at sunset so that just gave us even more joy. The trip, although expensive, we felt was worth every penny!

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Dear Traveler, We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Golden Circle and glacier snowmobiling tour. It’s wonderful that you saw the main highlights, found the snowmobiling safe and enjoyable, and appreciated the scenic beauty of the glacier. We’re thrilled that the trip felt well-organized, epic, and worth every penny. Best Regards, Gabriele

What a magical experience ✨ coach pick up was so easy (and heated), the whole day ran incredibly smoothly. Our tour guide, Leifur was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable and funny, he even sang us an Icelandic song 🎶 Our driver, Blazej was lovely too, he kept our bags safe for us when we went onto the monster truck and made sure we got home to our closest bus stop. I would 1000% recommend this tour, it was an absolutely bucket list moment, the golden circle was fantastic but the snowmobiles are what really made this experience. Thank you to everyone involved for the most incredible day ✨🤍

If you’re visiting Iceland, the Golden Circle tour is a must. But let me tell you, the snowmobile adventure is just as breathtaking as the entire trip! If you love adventure, this is an unforgettable experience. Just make sure to dress warmly, riding through the snow gets extremely cold.
