Amazing day!

We had an absolutely wonderful day trip to Sintra and Pena Palace from Lisbon. Everything was perfectly organized — the pickup right in the city center, all transfers between sites, and entrance tickets were all included and went smoothly. The weather was fantastic, which made the experience even more memorable. Our guide Francesco was truly outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller. What I especially appreciated was that he spoke clearly and engagingly in a way that was easy to follow even for a non-native English speaker like myself. Super tour - with Super Mario!

I had a wonderful time on this day trip, guided by the best tour guide- Mario! At every stop we were fascinated by the beauty of the location and we learned something different. Great tour and guide!

Loved our day of adventure to Sintra, Regaleira, the Pena Palace, and the coast! Francisco was an excellent guide! He was easy to understand and very knowledgeable with the right amount of historical facts. He was casual, and never rushed us, and yet helped us see everything we wanted. Great lunch spot overlooking the ocean with a super recommendation for the octopus dish. Delish! Sintra is simply charming, Regaleira is unique and cool, and the Pena Palace is impressive. So colorful and regal. All around a great experience!

Magical and knowledgeable tour!

Our trip to Sintra, Regaleria, and Pena Palace was amazing! The beautiful coastline, gardens and views from top of castle were just magical. Plus our tour guide and driver, Philipe, was so knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, loved his stories along the drive, his depth of knowledge about Pena Castle, both inside and out, plus his recommendations for other areas of Portugal to visit (we will be back). Tuktuk tours are the best way to see Lisbon and get an historic overview of this beautiful old!!! city.

My son (25 years old) and I took a 3 hour tour and it was a great introduction to Lisbon. Having never been to Lisbon this was a great way to get a sense of the city both in a physical way and through the historic information the tour guide provided. Lisbon isn't very big geographically but to see Belem and the old city, could be a very long walk and since the city is very hilly, it can be exhausting. Getting an overview on the whole city gave us a great idea of where everything is and what we wanted to go back to for more exploration. The tuk tuks are able to get through the tiny streets and narrow entrances better than cars/buses so it really is the best way to see this particular city. A definite must do!

Very interesting tour...

Very interesting tour with unexpected palaces. Andre our guide was excellent with very good English, tour knowledge and showing great care with humour for our group of eight adults. Points we noted: 1. Our tour lasted 6.5 hours, which was fine for us, but allow extra time in your planning if you have other commitments. 2. There is a fair amount of walking involved throughout the tour. Generally, people under 50 years old should have no trouble and will find the distance and climbs easy. If you are over 50 and have walking difficulties, this tour may not be suitable. 3. Both palaces require cash payment in euros at the end of the tour. It is not possible to pay digitally on the day (e.g. via iPhone), nor can you opt out of visiting one of the palaces. While this may be designed to help with better organisation, it would be preferable if this was included in the tour price. 4. Only disappointment was our whole bus wanted to be dropped off near the water ( ie. cruise ship terminal) only a few kilometres away rather than the pick-up location. This request was declined by management.

Had a great experience with our tour guide Justyna, was knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up booking a small van tour but it was just us as a family of 4. Saw the Pena palace, be prepared it can be quite foggy! Sintra was a cute town, tried some delicacies, and some of the local sour cherry liquor.
