Excellent tour

Jorge and Rodrigo couldn’t have been better guides. We had a large group with our children and parents. They were able to make each stop interesting and informative for all ages and were so kind to our kids, even carrying our little one when she got tired. We loved the stops along the coast and both castles we visited at Sintra were beautiful. Don’t skip the Quinta da Regaleira — it was so magical. The entire day went smoothly and our family had the best time.

We had a fantastic tour today with the tour guide Valerio and the very professional driver Jose. The tour was sold out on the day; we had a full bus. Valerio kept us informed in English and Italian (and on some occasions, Spanish and Portuguese!). He had great passion for his job and the skills to transfer his knowledge. The tour was very well planned. We felt we had enough time at each of the stops and were recommended places to stop at while in the area. All in all, we had a lovely day - long, yes, with a lot of walking (I mean it!), but definitely worth it. So glad we booked this tour and would highly recommend it. Thanks to the entire team!

A beautiful day for a tour

Mario and our driver did a superb job! Clear directions and suggestions at each stop. We scheduled too late to get tickets for Peña Palace but there was so much to see in the gardens and grounds that we filled our time. The lunch suggestion and gelato were delicious. We commend our driver on his maneuvering thru the streets. We definitely feel it was worth every cent!

Nice Tour

Firs thing, this is not a private tour but a shared tour with a group in a bus. It was a great experience despite the weather. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure we had enough time in all our stops and ensured everyone enjoyed. Few things to note : there is a LOT of walking. The food options for vegetarians are very limited in Sintra. For Pena Palace, skip the interior unless you really want to visit it. The "gardens" are a walk to the Palace.

Jose is a fantastic guide & went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. His knowledge, friendly nature & patience were most appreciated. His wonderful efforts were slightly let down by the tour company not providing Pena Palace tickets for the correct date however Jose was able to overcome these hiccups & made sure we did not miss out on anything. Overall we had a great day - thanks Jose.
