What are people saying about Italy

I recommend
This was great purchase. Found the guide easily and they took us though security and tickets in quick skip the line area then once inside we were left to our own so look and move along at our own pace. Having a guide talk to us though the museum for few hours was not what we wanted so this was prefect. I recommend.

Clear communication, easy pickup, good access to most of colosseum
The whole thing was very organized and our contact, Sak, communicated clearly through WhatsApp. The meeting point was simple enough (arch of Constantine) and he explained well what was included and not. Heads up: the audio guide app drains phone battery very quickly.

Tonia was a great guide,...
Tonia was a great guide, and this experience was more than worth it. The process is simple and easy to follow. We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to have this experience without having something reserved well in advance. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up and highly recommend!

Great gallery to visit for sculptures
Beautiful gallery to visit, plus if you have time and the weather is warm, plan some time for the gardens. If you booked a guided tour, it will be 2 hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable. No purses in the gallery, only cameras and small wallets, so be prepared to store all your stuff.

A marvel of Roman Engineering
The Pantheon (c. 118–128 AD) is a masterpiece of Roman engineering, featuring the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome (
diameter). It utilizes a variable-density concrete, decreasing in thickness with lighter aggregate (pumice) at the top, along with internal coffering and a structural oculas to manage weight, creating a perfect, self-supporting sphere.

Great tour guide!
We had a hard time finding the location of the office to meet but that was on us. Once we got there, our guide was extremely helpful. He brought us all in together and made sure we were all squared away. It was a self guided tour which we preferred. Skipping line was great. I definitely recommend!!!

Outstanding tour with Fulvia (Viator/Suntours) of Forum and Colosseum
We were fortunate that even being the "first Sunday of the Month" being free admission to both Colosseum and Forum, our tour coordinator arrange for my group of six to have a private tour guide. Her name is Fulvia and she was simply remarkable. So knowledgeable and even while waiting in line for tickets she kept us up to date on the status while giving us a history of Rome/Italy and pleasantries to make the time pass. Her tour of the Forum was so in depth. I do a lot of travel and she was one of the best guides that I had. I think the parent company is Sun Tours and they are lucky to have her!. Equally, the tour of the Colosseum was rich in history and she had as a seasoned tour director, special access to the best view inside the Colosseum for photos! I think doing ancient Rome by yourself would be a bit of a disservice as you can and will miss out on a lot of history and historical pearls!

Paolo was very...
Paolo was very experienced in showing us around vast Pompeii. He guided us through various parts of the preserved city highlighting how the community once lived. 2 hours was definitely not enough time to take in this experience. The tour is slightly up hill and on rocky terrain so prepare appropriately.

Not to be missed for families!
I've been to this museum once before and it's always a fantastic experience. It has something for everyone; the history, the designs and loads of interactive aspects for the kids. Even the gift shop is decently priced although clearly has some things made in China haha

Exceptional Guide, Exceptional Experience
We took the Rome: Trevi Fountain District and Underground Domus Guided Tour through Viator, and our experience with Erika originally from Sweden was absolutely outstanding.
Erika is one of those rare guides who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also genuinely fun, engaging, and dynamic. Her depth of historical knowledge is impressive she clearly knows Rome inside and out but what truly sets her apart is how she brings the history to life. She doesn’t just recite facts; she tells stories, connects timelines effortlessly, and keeps everyone fully engaged from start to finish.
The underground Domus portion was fascinating, and Erika explained the layers of Roman history with clarity, enthusiasm, and humor. She made complex historical details easy to understand and exciting, which is no small feat given how dense Roman history can be. At no point did the tour feel rushed or overly scripted it felt personal, interactive, and thoughtfully paced.
Erika also created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to ask questions and stay involved throughout the tour. Her energy was infectious, and by the end, it felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring Rome with an incredibly knowledgeable friend.
We have done guided tours all over the world, and Erika ranks among the very best guides we’ve ever had. If you’re considering this tour, do not hesitate Erika alone makes it worth it. This was one of the highlights of our time in Rome, and we would book another tour with her without question.
Highly, highly recommended.

Superb
Absolutely fantastic. I think this is the best tour I have done - well organised, helpful and a fantastic guide. Silvia was so knowledgeable. The Benini sculptures are breathtaking, the Carravaggeo and Raphael paintings unbelievable. An expensive trip but on this occasion well worth it. Thank you.

Easy and affordable.
I found this option very affordable and efficient. It was easy to meet the agents in advance to get the tickets. There was a very quick line to wait in to pass security, which all ticket holders have to go through. I liked that this option didn't require buying an expensive guided tour. As a solo traveller that wanted to go at my own pace, it was great. I went at 8am, and the museum was very calm
