No need to pay extra ahead of time. Payed more than I would have at museum. Great display of Da Vincis inventions but noise level was unbearable due to children having fun. Please market as a children’s museum and it would be great.

Really interesting and fun interactive museum.
Great for adults and kids.
Tickets in advance well worth it.
Aldiris_N, Mar 2026
Nice museum to go especially with kids. They learned a lot and we all enjoyed the interactive inventions.
Mark_K, Mar 2026
Allow an hour for this interesting, interactive tour, appropriate for all ages. Remarkable how the same person could paint the delicate Mona Lisa and also design war machines.

When you consider the time, what the man accomplished and the depth of his capabilities , itis mind blowing. From the Mona Lisa to hand-to-hand weapons, Da Vinci was much more than artist.....amazing!!

I've been to this museum once before and it's always a fantastic experience. It has something for everyone; the history, the designs and loads of interactive aspects for the kids. Even the gift shop is decently priced although clearly has some things made in China haha
Lorna_C, Oct 2025
Well developed demonstration of DaVinci inventions. Covers his contributions in music, art, architecture, anatomy and military defense.
Susan_W, Oct 2025
This was a wonderful place for people interested in science. Lots of instruments and working models to play with.
Cathleen_D, Oct 2025
Lots of interactive displays. Interesting models. Building areas for children. A very nice bookstore.
Jacqueline_G, Oct 2025
This was such a fun experience to interact with the works of a genius. It was educational as well as interactive. This is a great museum if you are traveling with kids.
Peter_H, Oct 2025
most interesting - it takes 1-2 hours depending on the detail you wish to absorb. no time slot required so easy to plan.
Jeff_M, Oct 2025
Very interesting aspect of Da Vinci, focusing on his inventions, not art. It has many hands on exhibits for kids and adults alike. Well worth the money and a relaxing way to spend an hour or so.
JulieG, Sep 2025
Very interesting. Better place for children than adults in my opinion. DaVinci was certainly more than the Mona Lisa!
Jeannie_W, Sep 2025
I would definitely suggest starting your tour with the Leonardo da Vinci exhibit. And then follow the arrows to see the rest of the museum. It is a large museum and very interesting. Highly recommend.
Malinda_B, Sep 2025
We learned a lot more about DaVinci as we toured the museum. A lot of wonderful things to see and experience. Saw families and children there who were enjoying some of the hands on display/inventions.
Manuel_L, Sep 2025
This attraction may be better suited for families with young children. The exhibits consist mainly of replicas and interactive displays inspired by Leonardo’s work. While it might appeal to some, those looking for authentic artifacts or deeper historical insights may find it underwhelming.
WILLIAM_W, Sep 2025
Not as much fun as the Leonardo da Vinci Interactive Museum. Manly for educational purpose. Exhibits mostly are ‘no touch.’ There is a kids room in the basement.
Trenda_H, Aug 2025
Friendly staff. Location was easy to find and close to the major tourist attraction. Good and clean. Organized well so you could see and learn about Leonardo’s genius. Very well worth the money. The building also has painted ceilings and gives a sense of how he would have lived. A short history of his life is included. There are lots of hands on activities for the children in one room at the end of the displays. One of the best values in Europe when everything costs so much. Small museum and only takes an hour to go through so can fit into a busy day. Was nice and cool there on a very hot day.

It was fascinating to see da Vinci’s drawings come to life! It was really inspiring to see the breadth of his studies.
Denice_G, Jul 2025
Fantastic place all the staff were very friendly. Wheelchair friendly. I highly recommend this museum. Allow time to read about all the inventions and play with some.
Doriann_C, Jul 2025
There are two museums, one in Rome and one in Florence , it seems that our reservation was for Florence but we were in Rome. I did not see anything that indicated this distinction when I bought the trip. Found out after trying to enter the Rome museum where the directions say go to museum entrance. Could not get refund . Tried Viator for assistance no help. Asked museum no help said they are not affiliated with Florence museum.
Kimberly_S, Jun 2025
Well worth the time if you have a curious mind. Not crowded so plenty of time reading and examining all of DaVinci's creations.
Grace_S, Jun 2025
Viator (live chat with customer service) sold us a ticket for the wrong city (Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in FLORENCE instead of MILANO where we were). So we had to pay a second time! Very poor customer service!!!
Kelly_D, Jun 2025
Very quick museum visit. Interesting but not much to it. Opportunities to have hands on experimenting with gadgets. Good for young kids.
Susan_P, Jun 2025
Interactive replicas not originals. Mostly funfor kids. Small three floor exhibit. Easy exchange of vouchers to tickets.
Jim_L, Jun 2025
Ticket process went very smoothly con we purchased our tickets through a third party service.
Staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English.
Karl_S, Jun 2025
Was a bit of a disappointment not having any of his art included. His inventions were amazing and would recommend but let thwm know what they are getting into.
Keisha_D, May 2025
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about highlights at the Lourve.
Kimberly_W, May 2025
This is a self guided tour museum you can enter at any time during open hours and see at your own pace.
John_G, May 2025
A great experience to see Leanardo's inventions modelled beautifully and in working order mostly. One can only be in awe of the genius of the man... His insights, engineering prowess, ability to draw with great accuracy, imagination and enquiring mind... from physics to physiology... stunning stuff ... a must to experience.
