Very interesting but much smaller than I expected. Hands on things for everyone to try and to look at.

This was just so so. The facility is cramped and there was an unpleasant odor throughout. Seemed to be part of the space and not a guest. Exhibits are hands on, but the associated in was presented on a laminated sheet. You use a device to touch the topic to listen to the details, but it was not great sound quality. I would skip this unless you already have a deep knowledge of LdVici and his inventions.
Response from Host, Apr 2025

What a prolific artist and inventor!! The museum showcased Leonardo’s talents very well. There were hands-on exhibits enjoyed by all, especially the children

We had a great visit to this museum
It was fascinating to see his ideas brought to life in the machines sections
The reproduction paintings and drawings were worth seeing
Also listening to the backstories and explanatons on the audio guide added a lot of interest in both parts
CARMEL_C, Aug 2024
Interesting and worthwhile to visit anytime your in Rome.
Da Vinci was such a genius and worthy of learning about
Jarod_C, Aug 2024
Apparently I bought a tour in rome thinking I was in Florence. Was not clear on the purchase. Did the Florence experience separately and would recommend.
Elizabeth_G, Jun 2024
We learned so much! The amazing intelligence and artistry of Leonardo da Vinci is mind blowing! Great gift shop too
Carolyn_S, Apr 2024
Great way to see and learn about Di Vinci’s genius inventions and paintings. We were very tired from so much walking all other days that we wanted a lighter activity for a change- this was perfect! It is a small museum but going at our own pace was a nice change. This is great for all ages.
Luis_M, Aug 2023
This is for 3rd grade kids, at most. The place is small with obviously only reproductions. The bottom line is that you can perfectly skip this place and save some bucks that can be used for other purposes.
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Dear Luis,
We really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. We would be grateful if you could provide us with more details via email to info@touristation.it This will help us to further identify the critical issues and find the right solutions.

Very interesting and interactive but the audio guide was not what it could have been in terms of presenting the information in an interesting way. A video about his life would have been a nice addition as well as the application of the inventions today. Not a must see, but nice filler activity with kids/teens.
Response from Host, Aug 2023

Some interesting inventions, with useful audio guides. Could’ve been a little cheaper, as considering the museums size, it seemed a bit pricey.
Response from Host, Aug 2023

Charles_K, Jul 2023
Easy to get tickets to the museum and go in at any time that suited us. So easy to go round with the commentary . Very clever way of scanning each exhibit at your leisure for the commentary. Fantastic and value for money.
Fay_L, Jul 2023
Hands on inventions for our kids
Museum replica paintings
Items to purchase: prints, books, STEM projects
Classy atmosphere and staff, who very pleasant and friendly...despite being very busy. 1st class 👏
Michael_F, Jul 2023
A great, interactive museum that pays homage to someone who was responsible for so many ideas!! Even our adult family loved the interactive exhibits.
Prashant_T, Apr 2023
A unique experience about Leonardo Da Vinci the genius. Definitely worth a visit to see the replicas of his inventions.
diana_p, Oct 2022
Very nice museum. Educational and nice gift shop. I went with my 22 year old daughter. There were kids under 10 running around like it was a play ground. Do not recommend for small children.
LiewHong_L, Aug 2022
Not the museum we thought it was. More like an exhibition simply set up to attract tourists. Not awful but far from what we expected.
Tina_N, Jul 2022
The art work is amazing . Our kids loved it. Never knew how much he invented. The gift shop is also incredible.
Torben_A, May 2022
Fun and interesting way to spend time in Rome. Amazing to see da Vinci's creative ideas on display. Highly recommendable.
DrewKiesow_K, Nov 2021
Tourist trap - avoid, avoid, avoid! Misleading exhibits. Nothing in the museum is authentic, nothing experiential about it. Waste of money!

The exhibition was good and informative but we thought it was too small an exhibition. Well worth a visit
Jill T, Sep 2017
On the plus side there is air-conditioning. On the down side, there's not alot of information about Da Vinci himself, and several models on display have disclaimers stating that they may have never been developed or used by Da Vinci.
Response from Host, Apr 2020

FRANCISCO_V, Feb 2020
Response from Host, Apr 2020
Estimado Novelero,
Gracias por su tiempo. Su opinión es importante para nosotros.
