Fab despite the insane requests of fellow tourists ; )

Our guide Sandra was amazing! The tour was lovely and she shared great information as well as her own personal insights. We learned a lot about the Habsburg reign and her favorites. The tour of the gardens and the “Wow” moment was worth it all! We were staying at the Hilton Park Plaza and the train ran directly to the castle from the Mitte station in front of the hotel. GREAT DAY!!

4 Americans going underground and drinking wine (not at the same time) in Vienna

Very comfortable Mercedes runner vans. Reasonably sized (12 person as opposed to the 30-40 person bus trips) personal tour. Good information on the drive to the stops. Underground lake was beautiful and the history behind the lake was amazing. I would recommend a blanket or jacket because it is about 40° F in the tunnels. Wine stop was a very nice small family winery in a gorgeous area. We had Ivan as our driver who spoke enough English to make us laugh a couple times. Taras was the main tour guide who made sure we had everything we needed and had great stories and information about all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend this tour!

A unique way to explore the food and neighborhoods of Vienna

Magdalena was an excellent guide for this tour of Vienna which not only treated us to a variety of local foods, but also took us to outer neighborhoods which we would not have explored on our own. We experienced lively outdoor food markets and visited small local shops to sample classic Viennese food like Wiener schnitzel, pastries, and cheese stuffed sausages. It was a good combination of walking through neighborhoods and taking public transportation such as trains and above ground trams, which made it easier to visit different districts without exhaustion. Having a small group of 5 made for a more personal experience and gave us the opportunity to ask Magdalena about her experiences from growing up in Vienna to living and working there as an adult.

The musicians are incredibly talented and the song selection was excellent. The acoustics of the cathedral enhanced the sound of the musicians. To hear beautiful classical renditions while enjoying the sculpture and paintings in the fabulous cathedral is unforgettable.

Not just a pretty building

Andy made this tour more than looking at a beautiful palace with frescos and ornate rooms. He told fascinating stories about the royal family and how those related to the social and political history of Austria. He gave you a sense of what living in Austria was like as a royal, an aristocrat and a commoner. Much much more than just a tour of a pretty building. Gardens were impressive and there was much to explore after the tour ended— the zoo, the orangerie, and the palm house. Well worth the time and money.

A day well spent

Salsburg and hallstatt from Vienna is over ambitious but this trip made it doable. Of course we felt we could have spent more time at each spot. But the times given was just perfect in order to make it back in 13 hours. Alexander was very knowledgeable and told some interesting and funny stories about History. He kept telling info all through the ride and gave a tour of the spots as well. We got a local guide in Salsburg and thankfully radios and headsets since it was a big group. The tour was for 1 hour and were given about 40 min on our own. 20 min was reserved for gathering and walking back to bus with Alexander. 2 tourists ladies got late and didn't make it on time in Salsburg. But thankfully Alexander made the right decision to not to wait for them for too long, and continue with rest of the trip to not waste and cut short every one else's time (40+ people). Alexander gave us salt from salt mine as souvenir and mentioned it even tastes better with tequila. Will try that! 😃

Great Hallstatt Day Trip

Hallstatt is a fantastic destination, definitely worth visiting. The lake and town are beautiful. There is also an interesting museum with artifacts from Neolithic and Roman times. The boat trip around the lake was also fun. The trip from Vienna takes about 3 hours each way, but the time goes by quickly with a couple of scheduled stops along the way. Our tour guide Lilly, was very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this day trip.

Our guide Tace was so informative! She explained the historical and political stories of Vienna so fluently while taking us to or through the actual sites. We were able to see the Lipizzaner horses as they traveled from the stables to the riding school. It was a perfect tour, in my opinion!

Lovely day tasting sone austrian wines

We had absolutely great international group in this trip. Our guide&driver Martin was so great and he took very good care of us. He made our day so special. We had two different tasting session. The first one included some information about wine making. We had traditional two course lunch during the second tasting. I can highly recommend this trip for everyone.

Fantastic evening, even in late April, chilly, but well worth the cold

Book direct, we made our own way to the desk, checked in, then taken to our seats which to be fair we weren’t expecting, We were sat in the isle not the pews, consequently low down. Didn’t really see why we need Viator, sorry, I guess I wanted reassurance but only booked did I find that the purchaser is own their own
