Stepping out of the city, to the farm lands and winery’s was a delight! Harold, our guide and the small and friendly group of people, in the tour, enhanced this experience. We were all like minded ! Wine, fun and travel! Harold was extremely knowledgeable about not only the area, but was a kind and fascinating individual. The wine makers were very passionate about their vineyards, and the wine tasting was very nice. The charcuterie at one vineyard, and authentic Austrian lunch, at the other, were outstanding.

We did the Hallstatt Guided Day Trip from Vienna with the boat ride option, and it was a highlight of our trip. The instructions for getting on the bus were seamless and very smooth — no confusion about where or when to meet. Our guide Alex was excellent: knowledgeable, engaging, and kept the energy lively the entire day. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed sharing the history and stories along the route. One tip for future travelers: be back at the bus on time. Drivers in Vienna operate under strict driving-hour regulations and have to stay within a set number of hours per day, so a few passengers running late kept the group waiting and put unnecessary stress on our poor driver. Just something to keep in mind so everyone can help the day run smoothly. Hallstatt itself was absolutely beautiful, and the boat ride was fantastic. There was a small hiccup with the boat option along the way, but the company handled it well and made things right — everything ended up going smoothly regardless. Overall, a wonderful, well-organized day trip with a guide who made it even better. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Day Trip

Best way to maximize time while seeing great sights and scenery of many beautiful places. Sophia was an awesome tour guide ~ explained timeline/plan upfront, very knowledgeable, answered questions thoroughly, and provided recommendations. Would definitely recommend this tour - it is quick as it covers 700 km in one day, but it is not rushed. Plenty of time to taste local cuisine, take pictures and shop. It is a large bus group tour which can be challenging, but we had a group which understood the importance of punctuality.

We had such a wonderful experience on this food tour! Our guide, Cristoff, was immensely knowledgeable, informative, and helpful throughout the entire experience. Every single thing we ate was absolutely delicious, but what really made the tour special was that Cristoff didn’t just introduce us to the food—he explained the history and cultural significance behind each item, which gave us such a deeper appreciation for what we were tasting. This was our first-ever food tour, and we honestly didn’t know what to expect. We loved it so much that we’ve already decided food tours will be a must for us whenever we travel from now on! If you’re looking for a fun, delicious, and genuinely interesting way to experience the city and its culture, we highly recommend this tour—and especially Cristoff. Awesome tour

It was a great tour. The tour guide was awesome. It was a very small group 4 in a van x2. We had plenty of time to explore around the castle but personally I would have loved to go inside but it was great. The Underground Lake and mine were a wonderful experience in my opinion. It does get cold inside the mine so bring a sweater or pay .50 cents for a blanket. Loved the set up for the wine tasting and thoroughly enjoyed the wine. I rate it a ten.

Outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Extremely convenient location from the U (subway), and gorgeous fountain/gardens outside. The church is breathtaking…a beautiful compliment to the music. The musicians and selections were perfect!! We would definitely recommend as a highlight to a trip.
