If you long science, I highly recommend. What’s really cool about this tour is that you go on your own pace. It gave us a chance to stop and read some of the most interesting things that I would have ever known without this tour. It’s a great blast from the past.

I was sadly not able to go to the Museo Galileo or the Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace because I was sick. It was the only day available for me to buy tickets before I left home in the US. I am very disappointed as I really wanted to see both the museum and the palace. Maybe I will visit Florence another day. Grazie

The Galileo Museum itself was fine - educational, spacious, and interesting.
However, Viator did not send my purchased tickets in advance, only the voucher. The museum would not accept the voucher, as Viator does not have a relationship with them and so I had to buy new tickets at the tour, doubling my expense. Upon contacting them, Viator customer service was rude and not helpful, refusing to admit fault for not sending tickets, insinuating this was my fault although i never received tickets, and refusing any refund. It was an abhorrent lack of customer service.

I accidentally booked this on a day we were back in our home country. I was not able to get a refund even minutes after booking and realizing the mistake. Not a cool business practice imo.

Do not waste your money on these tickets. When you get to the venue there is one line and one line only. Whether you are buying tickets that day, whether you puchased them online, or if you purchased these tickets billed as "Skip the line" you wait in the same line. We were in line behind people buying tickets at the counter. When we asked where you go in w/the Skip the Line tickets we were told "there is only one line, everyone waits in line here". So Instead of paying $13 per ticket ($39 total) like others we were waiting in line behind we paid $66+. Some museums in Florance have actual "Skip the Line" lines. The Galileo and the Leonardo Interactive Museum do not, so do not fall for this scam like we did. I included a picture showing the ticket desk that I took when we were leaving. When I took the photo no one was in line as there was when we arrived, but it shows you the desk where everyone enters. No Skip the Line option here. When I requested a refund I was told it is busy during the summer and it is normal to wait in line. Sorry no refunds.

We bought two (2) tickets for this tour 6 months in advance. When we got to the ticket office in the museum, they told us no tickets were ordered for us. We did not receive any electronic tickets for this tour. We ended up paying extra to tour the museum. I am expending a full refund from this event.

The museum said they do not recognize Viator vouchers and would not let us in. Others in line had the same issue. We contacted Viator customer service who said they would not refund our money. Do NOT use Viator.

Tour operator only provided our vouchers which the Museum would not accept. The tickets were supposed to be emailed sepárele y but they never arrived. We contacted Viator regarding the issue and they did nothing for us. We ended up purchasing 2 more tickets at the door. 😡

We had an emergency and needed to switch our ticket to another date, but the company was not accommodating and therefore we lost our money. Tickets should be able to be exchanged if needed.

The Museum would not honor our voucher. Had to buy tickets. I will request refund. Also, there was no line to skip. Viator charged $18 for ticket that cost 10 euros at the door. The museum was great but Viator was very disappointing in this case

The tickets were never sent via email like the app kept telling me to check and so we had to pay for entry at the front after 15 plus minutes of confusion. I found them after in the direct message with 0 notification from Viator or the ticket provider. I’m going to attempt to ask for a refund but this listing seemed pretty adamant about non refundable etc. There was also no line to skip so paying the extra €7 per ticket was unnecessary.

hello, we're sorry you didn't find your tickets before you bought them back at the cashier. Tickets have been sent through VIATOR as usual and we are not in control of the notifications which are then sent to customers. We have not received any emails or phone calls about these tickets, which otherwise would have been sent back to you at the last minute.

Really enjoyed the hands on experience and insight into the mind of Galileo. Amazing to also see the ingenuity, creativity, and intelligence of so many other notable minds. The focus on the heavens and understanding the stars is very intriguing. Enjoyed this immensely.

BE CAREFUL! When we booked, the tour information and then the voucher both clearly stated 10:30 pm. The museum isn't open at 10:30 pm. I tried calling the local contact number, but was not able to reach anybody. So we did not get to see the Galileo Museum and trying to contact Viator is not easy. I am quite disappointed that I was sold a tour for a time the location was not even open.

This is a nice museum, but I would classify it more as a science museum, not specifically Galileo. Being a fan of science, I enjoyed it very much. You don't need more than 1.5-2 hours.

The whole group really enjoyed the museum. Anyone interested in science would have a great time. Many of the exhibits drew questions and started conversations between students and with teachers.

Le musée était très décevant. Nous avons payé beaucoup plus cher qu’il était et il n’y avait aucune file d’attente. Donc pas du tout une bonne valeur d’achat.
