Such a great tour! Our tour guide (I don't remember her name :( ) was very knowledgeable and nice! We saw a lot and learned a lot of history. I'd recommend getting a tour if you're visiting Pompeii!

It was good to be able to stay on the park for longer than the 2 hour tour as well. Really needs a full day at least to see everything. Fascinating place.

Interesting and enjoyable experience. The guide was a little hard to understand which was challenging for our kids, but definitely worth doing a tour as Pompeii is large and it helped to know the history while walking around.

This is a must do for a trip to Pompeii. They take all the stress out of traveling to Pompeii from Rome. As a matter of fact, the day of my trip, the local train from Naples to Pompeii was on strike. If I didn’t pick this service, then I may never have been able to get to Pompeii.

Would recommend the tour to everyone! Alessandra (archeologist) gave a great tour bringing us back to the day of the eruption and explaining to us the lifestyle of that time as we walked through the ruins.

Paolo was very experienced in showing us around vast Pompeii. He guided us through various parts of the preserved city highlighting how the community once lived. 2 hours was definitely not enough time to take in this experience. The tour is slightly up hill and on rocky terrain so prepare appropriately.

Gennaro, our guide made our visit to Pompeii very worthwhile as we learnt so much about the history of Pompeii and its residents. His style was easy but his extensive knowledge and passion shone through. Although it was a wet day we thoroughly enjoyed our time and stayed on after the guided tour ended.

Mario was very knowledgeable and personable but I feel like we spent most of the first hour standing against the wall listening to him talk. It became a little boring. Once we started to see places, he was very thorough explaining everything and the tour became very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Mario as a guide.

Walking over cobblestones and rough terrain.. I am 66 and made it ok with painful knees.. they forewarn but well worth the trip.. Roman ruins 79AD.. mosaics…Raphael was awesome!!!
