I’ve done countless food tours across more than 12 countries, but this one truly stands out as something special! From the start, the setup was fantastic. The meeting location allowed me to show up an hour early to explore a vibrant local market just down the street, a hidden gem I never would have discovered on my own. Our hosts: Flora(hopefully spelled right), Niki, and Danika, were exceptional. Their incredible energy, warmth, and depth of knowledge (not just about local history, but about other cultures as well) genuinely blew me away. The history shared throughout the tour was incredibly eye-opening, and tasting authentic, traditional Hungarian food in Budapest was a real highlight. To top it all off, we were given a sweet little recipe book to take home. In all my travels and food tours around the world, I’ve never had a guide team do that before! It’s such a thoughtful touch that lets you bring the experience home with you. If you're in Budapest, do not hesitate, book this tour! This is a new ship that offers air conditioning or open air dining. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food offered is an excellent array of choices and the music is such that almost everyone would enjoy. Ours was a violinist who did contemporary hit music from the 70s on. It was an perfect way to finish off our time in Budapest

Wonderful dinner cruise w great entertainment!

There is no need to upgrade for the window view. You can see well no matter where you are once the boat leaves. Lots of opportunities for memory-making photos. The entertainment includes musicians (cimbalom, violin and cello), a singer, and four dancers. Had a great time! We didn't have kids but kid friendly.

Beautiful boat with gorgeous scenery. But if you want to sit on the top deck, arrive at the dock and get in line early. The early birds who get in line an hour early get the top deck and those who come closer to the time of departure sit in the lower deck. It’s still gorgeous, but your choice is limited where you sit.

One of the Best Wine Tastings Ever!

This is the best wine tasting tour I've been on yet! Going out into the countryside was beautiful; tons of sunflower fields and vineyards! Our driver picked us up at our hotel and, while driving around the city to pick up other guests, told us about the various buildings/sites of interest. While driving through the countryside, she gave us background history of the area and was just awesome! The wineries we visited were great and hostesses very professional but warm and friendly as well. We had some really great wines in all three locations, but the meal we had at the last winery was fantastic! And loved visiting with their house cats as well. It was an awesome trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely top notch dinner cruise!

From start to finish, just the perfect dinner cruise. Where to start? The boat is amazing, completely open sides and overhead. The seats, table and glasses all feel like a great lounge restaurant. Then the food and drink. So many choices on the set menu that we struggled to decide. They all sound amazing, look beautiful and tasted outstanding. The wine was also great and served in lovely glasses. Last but by no means least, the staff were helpful and attentive in a head-spinning array of languages. No problems getting help or another glass when needed. The music, well this I could take or leave and occasionally it was a little loud for conversation but these are minor matters of taste. Genuinely impressed by Legenda, looking at the other cruises operating on the Danube they’re clearly head and shoulders above anything else on the water. If you’re on the fence about booking then I’d say spend the money and enjoy it, dinner cruises don’t get much better than what Legenda has put together here.

We did the 6pm which was nice and tame, the staff are amazing at coming found and filling up your glass with Prosecco and Bellini’s so your glass is never empty. We enjoyed it that much, we got off the boat and queued for the 8pm knowing it was livelier with a DJ and dance floor and busier. That was also great. The cocktails if you do the premium are also delicious and not cheap and nasty. The pinacolada in particular was top notch

Best Experience at Budapest

Our dinner cruise on the Danube was more than outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, well organized, and truly special. The customer service from the waitresses was excellent: they were attentive, kind, professional, and made the entire evening feel warm and memorable. The live music was spectacular, starting with the famous Hungarian dance, which immediately created an authentic and exciting atmosphere. The Hungarian-style dancers were fantastic and added so much energy and tradition to the experience. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Hungarian wines included in the tasting; each one paired beautifully with the food and made us appreciate local wine even more. A very special thank you to the team for celebrating Danny’s birthday with a beautiful “Happy Birthday” played on the violin. It was a magical moment we will always remember. Highly recommended!
