We’ll meet about 15 meters from the Budapest Eye Ferris Wheel cashier, right next to the Danubius Fountain—the one with the muscular six-pack figure on top and three ladies around the sides. The area can get quite busy, so to make us easy to spot, your tour guide will be holding a small blue flag.

Had a great tour guided by the lovely Dora! She was super knowledgeable, and showed the main points in Budapest - sharing a lot of tips and context. The Budapest City Landmarks Walking Tour in 2 Hours was a massive group, you could just show up with no booking. The group then had to be spilt into two and still there would have been about 30 people in each group. Having said that, it was very informative and worth doing.

However, the experience described doesn’t fully match how our Budapest City Landmarks Walking Tour in 2 Hours usually operates. While guests can book through several platforms, our groups are normally kept much much smaller to ensure a more engaging experience with the guide.
It’s possible there may have been some confusion with another walking tour in the city, as Budapest has several similar options. If you did join our tour, please feel free to contact us through your booking so we can look into this further.

Unable to share a good comment. Never found the guide with a blue jacket. Learn not to ask for directions, everyone direct me to the opposite side. Time lost and left walking to the first tour site. Desperate I call aviator and I was told my tour guide had a blue umbrella. Lost my time and a
viator refunded me. Suggestion for everyone, double check with viator exact location, get the proper translation and ask them to describe position of tour guide and umbrella color.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that all guests receive a detailed booking reminder and our Budapest info kit by email before the tour, which clearly explains the exact meeting point. Neither the tour description nor our messages mention umbrellas.
According to our records, you contacted our office about 10 minutes after the tour had already departed, which unfortunately meant we no longer had the chance to redirect you to the group. When guests call us before the tour starts, we are almost always able to help them find the guide in time.
We’re sorry you missed the experience and hope you were still able to enjoy your time in Budapest.

We really enjoyed our tour with Dora. She’s warm, knowledgeable, and makes Hungarian history accessible without overwhelming you. The tour itself is a broad overview of the major periods and landmarks, but Dora constantly encouraged questions and was happy to go deeper whenever anyone asked.
Our group was on the larger side, but she handled it smoothly — everyone could hear her clearly, and she kept the pace comfortable. She was friendly, patient, and had lots of local recommendations.
If you’re looking for an approachable introduction to Budapest with a guide who knows her stuff and makes the experience easy, Dora is a great choice.

We took this tour on our first day in Budapest. Judit was a great guide who took us to the main locations in the city (Pest side) and gave us lots of interesting historical information.
