We’ll meet about 15 meters from the Budapest Eye Ferris Wheel cashier, right next to the Danubius Fountain—the one with the muscular six-pack figure on top and three ladies around the sides. The area can get quite busy, so to make us easy to spot, your tour guide will be holding a small blue flag.

Our guide Orsolya was excellent in giving some unbiased history as well as pointing out many points of interest in downtown Budapest. We really enjoyed the two-hour tour.

The tour guide Judith was excellent at all levels. Her narration was engaging and informative. During 2+ hours I have learned more about the history and today’s reality of Hungary than by reading guidebooks. The tour was just fantastic.

We do a walking tour each time we visit a new city to get oriented and learn history and culture. This tour was one of the if not the best tour ever. Our guide Kamile was awesome.

Our tour guide was great - very knowledgeable (His name began with a B and rhymed with goulash). He was easy to hear and shared great information. When we travel, we want to learn about culture and history. B was easy to hear and we learned a lot about Pest. Now to the negative: while we were waiting to begin, another tour guide asked where we are from. I said Washington, DC and she immediately became rude and dismissive. We moved to the side where B was standing so we wouldn't end up in her group. I think someone who is that prejudiced, is simply showing herself to be what I would never want to be. I have never voted for the US president we currently have and am about as left as they come. She made assumptions and was rude.

Judit was an excellent guide! Her tour was interesting and informative, and was a great way to start off our trip.
FYI, the tour itself is inexpensive/free, so I’d recommend bringing some cash for a tip at the end, though we weren’t pressured to do so.

Our guide Kristina was good, knowledgeable. However, the itinerary that was advertised was not exactly as delivered, which was disappointing.

Our tours can occasionally require minor adjustments depending on circumstances on the day, such as access, closures, events, or the practical flow of the group. As you haven’t mentioned which part of the advertised itinerary you felt was missing, it’s difficult for us to address the specific concern. Great way to see and learn a little about Budapest our guide was Dora who was very informative about Hungarian history and of buildings and monument that we pat during our 2½ hour walk

Rita’s tour was our first activity after we arrived. It was an ideal orientation to the city center history architecture and culture. Her humor and confidence provided a bit of insight into the people and vibe here as well.
