We did the silverline dinner cruise , the city night cruise which was a beautiful experience. You get a complimentary prosecco but a no host bar is available. The food was fine but the dessert was not a favorite for me. There was entertainment which was a representation of Hungarian culture and music. The dancers were good and talented. The staff especially Nora was very nice and helpful.

Despite recent stories on Social Media, the Danube river does have water in it and the buildings are illuminated at night!
The evening was well organised. Food excellent and plenty of opportunities to leave table and take photos outside. Piano player was excellent entertainment too.
Only slight blip was the guy on the door who said we would have to pay an extra £20 each to get a table by the window. We declined, and still got a window tablle when seated. The middle row tables still gave decent views from what I could tell.
The entertainment was very nice. The food was below average. My wife had the fish and it was just ok. I had the chicken because the server said the pork was sometimes dry. The chicken was so I dry I had one bite and ate no more. I would recommend the cruise without dinner. Dinner experience was underwhelming to say the least and a waste of money.
The cruise on the river was ok. When we boarded the boat they tried to charge us extra for a window seat which we refused. The food was awful - the worst was the main course of pork tenderloin. They also wanted to charge for a topup of water.
There is no need to upgrade for the window view. You can see well no matter where you are once the boat leaves. Lots of opportunities for memory-making photos. The entertainment includes musicians (cimbalom, violin and cello), a singer, and four dancers. Had a great time! We didn't have kids but kid friendly.

Only suggestions…improve the a/c on the boat and have the background piano music s little softer.
This was a lovely experience, the staff and entertainment was brilliant. I would recommend replacing the 4 course dinner with some nibbles/sharing plates as the food was disappointing.
No air conditioning! The entire route I felt like I couldn’t breathe! I kept going on their small outdoor area. I was not able to enjoy dinner at all. if air conditioning was broken , they should have just refunded everyone and have them go on a different boat.
Our experience was very special , accident during the cruise , the start was perfect and we enjoyed the dinner but the boat hit something in the river and was obliged to go back and cruise stopped 45 minutes earlier , no dessert …. Evacuation of all passengers and the cruise’s personal.
Luxury cruise, service was 10/10, very professional servants especially Zoe was so lovely on board. The welcome drink was champagne. The menu to choose from was good. I ended up choosing the beef soup as a starter and the lamp rack as a main. They both were hot and tasty. The music was amazing and the Hungarian show was above and beyond especially as they involved the crowd in it. The cruise went smoothly on the river the lights of Budapest can be seen magically at night. This dinner cruise was absolutely worth the money spent. Well done Silverline for such a beautiful cruise.
We were really surprised by how good the food was on this cruise. It was much higher quality than we expected and both of us enjoyed everything that we ordered. The entertainment felt authentic and they were clearly very talented. It was quite loud so if we had known that we would likely have selected a table further from the stage. The night view of Budapest is unbelievable and we love the pictures that we took from the outside area.

Seeing the city at night was spectacular. The views were breathtaking, and seeing both sides of the city lit up at night was terrific. This boat tour was one of the highlights of our trip. However, the food was uninspiring, and it would have been nice to know that if we wanted a window seat, that it had to be reserved in advance. This fact should be made clear when the tour is booked (included in the description of the tour).
The boat was nice but the electricity kept going out during our cruise. The food was not to our liking. The entertainment was fun!

The cruise is lovely and smooth. Dinner was tasty and delivered with good service. The lights emerge as the sun goes down and it was a spectacular display. We were blessed with perfect weather, but you could enjoy it even from inside the boat.
Our experiment with the dinner cruise was that it was on time departure, a good boat, good service, and great entertainment!

Truly enjoyed our evening on the Silver Line dinner cruise. Lively 4 string ensemble, singing and traditional dancing were fantastic. Highly recommend it.
It’s a lovely evening, cruising the Danube and watching the lights of this amazing city go by. The entertainment of musicians, singers, and folklore dancers was wonderful fun. The staff was friendly and professional my granddaughter and I both had a lovely evening and highly recommend this trip.
Very enjoyable cruise. Well organized and really appreciated the music and dance shows. The two men were exceptional. The food was ok but given the price, good value. The buildings were very beautiful and deserved the night cruise.
