What are people saying about Split

Richard was an amazing...
Richard was an amazing guide! We had a wonderful experience. We did the 8:30am departure which required us to actually meet at 8:15 to check in and then headed on a short walk to the bus around 8:30. Caution for others, if you don’t book tickets together, there’s a chance you are split into a different group. We saw this happen with another group, but it was able to be resolved. About the actual trip: We went to Skradin first to swim and explore a tiny cute town. We only had about an hour there before we had to move to the next location, so it was only a quick swim and walk around town. There was a changing room on the beach. Then, we went to wine tasting where they have you try 4 glasses of local wine (white, rose, red, and a sweet wine) and give a few pieces of bread and cheese. There are also “Dalmatian plates” for sale for ~10-20 euros which consist of more cheese, prosciutto, olives, and maybe a few other small items. Small was fine for 2 of us. Finally, we went to Krka by the normal ferry boat (launched in Skradin). After a short ride, we went to the park where Richard led us to the famous bridge that looks at the falls and took photos of us. We then independently went through the park and met up about 1.5-2hrs later on the other side of the park and took the bus home. It was beautiful but definitely a long day (got back closer to 6-6:30). Highly recommend!

Best Speedboat Tour from Split
Fantastic experience, one of the best full day outings we’ve done. Why: 1) Luka, our skipper gave us tons of great beta, and tailored the trip to our group of 11. It’s clear he has passion for his job, sharing the best w tourists, and creating a memorable day 2) Good music, awesome speedboat (Spanish built). Pay the fee extra dollars for this one for the speed and shade 3) did so many things, went so many places in just 1 day. Probably the best full day tour from Split Note: we went to Blue Cave but in hindsight didn’t need to for an extra €24/pp esp given all the other amazing places and caves (free and less touristy) we went to after. This is the one, and Luka was amazing.

This was a load of fun...
This was a load of fun and very informative as well. It was a scorching hot day in Split, but in the open, but covered Tuk-Tuk we were fine. Our guide/driver Matthew told us about all sorts of things - who parks were named after, what buildings were used for and even Tito's summer house (now an event venue). He came to our boat dock to get us and returned us there at the end. One of our better excursions.

Great day out but read the small print!!
All went well, exactly as stated in the advertisement (even though not all the group seem to have read the fine print!) guide was excellent and whole day was really good with beautiful scenery around us. Waterfalls were beautifully majestic and getting to meet and talk to others on our coach was really funny.

Split is the biggest city on Croatia's Dalmatian coast and the perfect gateway for all aquatic adventures. Whether you want to book an island-hopping day trip that hits hotspots like Hvar, the Blue Lagoon, and Vis—or would prefer to head inland to natural wonders like Plitvice Lakes National Park and the waterfalls of Krka National Park—the city is ideally situated. But don't spend all your time out of town. Split tours make it easy to see the best of the city, whether you stroll Diocletian's Palace, go on a culinary stroll, or spot Game of Thrones filming locations.
