Absolutely fabulous dinner cruise. The boat itself was very comfortable and ideally set up for a dining experience with incredible views. The food was delicious and perfectly presented while the drinks selection was extensive. All served by excellent staff who were very friendly and attentive. The entertainment was wonderful. An unforgettable experience and cannot recommend highly enough.

This whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The boat is immaculately clean and stylish with lots of space. The food was very good and the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Of course Budapest from the river at night is a world class experience, enhanced with the addition of great food and wine. Highly recommended.

We planned the experience months in advance, showed up early and were given an assigned table by the window. The staff was all very friendly and polite. Everything was well organized for a nice 2 1/2 hour trip. There were numerous choices for appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. The roasted trout and brownie dessert were SO good! The live music consisted of a guitarist and two (a male and female) singers- they did a great job! Everything was perfect- a very nice night on the Danube River! Highly recommend!

Great service and really good food with an excellent amount of choice of starter, main and desert.

This is a beautiful experience especially if you are celebrating a special event or date etc. Or even if you just have the time & money whilst in Budapest! The food, music & service were all great & whilst not the cheapest its worth it just for the views, you won't get night shots again like it! Probably best we saw all holiday. P.s make sure to go out the back of the boat & stand on dec so you get unobstructed views, not everyone on our boat realised this and we got some gorgeous photos!

Highly recommend. Delicious food, 4 courses with choices for each course, complimentary drink on arrival. You can purchase additional drinks and they are not expensive. We paid £16 for additional bottle of wine. Service exceptional. See all main sights both in daylight and when dark as boat goes up and down the Danube.

Dinner was fabulous, views sublime, excellent service. The male musician had a horrible hacking cough and when he wasn’t singing he was coughing. No mask of course. Thanks for infecting all of us. Just stay home. The female singer could have covered. It’s not like the musicians were so great that their absence would have ruined the cruise. It’s a shame that everything else was amazing and this ruined it.

It is our first time in Budapest, and of course, we wanted to have a dinner cruise, went to Viator website and booked a luxury dinner for 4, ( brought my mother in law and cousin) which includes my husband and I. We chose Legenda City Cruises. Dinner was at 7 pm and we went there around 640. We were greeted by the receptionist and she took us to our table promptly. As you enter the ship the experience felt luxurious, the ship was beautiful, with panoramic views all around even the ceiling was glass and with mirrors at the center of it. You can see the captain as well at the front of the ship as the walls and doors are made of glass. And the very back of the ship was their bar. They have a live band, a man and woman, BTW they were amazing, both have beautiful and relaxing voices and the live band made the experience to the next level. When we got there the tables were almost all occupied. We were the only 4 people in a table the rest was set for couples. The vibe was romantic, with mood lights all through out.
As for food, it was a 4 course meal with 1 drink included. All of us ordered alcoholic drinks. All of the food I chose were delicious, I opted for scallops for my appetizer, beef Consomme soup for soup, trout for my mains. And pannacotta for my dessert. They were freshly made , flavors are balanced, and served in right temperature.
As for service I will have to give it 3 stars. I do not cook, my husband and I eat out all the time from fast food to cheap meals to luxury restaurants. If you want the service to be luxurious and you want it to be top tier, you want your customer to be treated like they're the very important person in the room. That's how i want to be treated And I gave only 3 stars because ( and it happened several times from different waitresses) when they served the hot soup they asked my husband to pass the bowl to me, mind you the bowl was hot!!! I was sitting near the window and my husband at the aisle. And when I was done with my plates and utensils they asked me again to pass it to them. I would have expected them to serve that hot bowl from behind me and same thing when they need to clear the table. I hope they read this review so they can improve in that department. But over all it was a good experience. I would definitely try it again when I visit Budapest, maybe a better and a luxurious experience next time.

This is the cruise you want of you’re looking for a special evening. The ship was more upscale and the experience was that of a higher end restaurant, with several courses and live music in the background. Budapest at night is beautiful - this was a really lovely way to spend an evening there.
Side note… as we walked to our ship, we walked past the line to the cruise with the buffet and were grateful we hadn’t gone that route. A huge crowd of people and families which would have been a very different experience.

The river cruise at night is a must do the city and bridges are all lit up and makes it magical the food was good and the entertainment was enjoyable both my husband and I really enjoyed the experience.

The Budapest Danube River Candlelit Dinner Cruise with Live Music was the perfect introduction to our trip and truly set the tone for our time in Hungary. Seeing the city illuminated at night along the riverfront was absolutely breathtaking.
The food was delicious, and the live music created a romantic and relaxing atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special. It was such a memorable experience and easily one of the highlights of our time in Budapest.

This is a wonderful way to begin your first day in Budapest. The boat ride was calm and took you up and down the river so you could see both sides clearly. The service was outstanding as was the food. The evening was one we will always remember.

I think the main thing people need to know is seating is assigned by when you reserved this dinner cruise. We were expecting a table by the window with unobstructed views. We arrived an hour early and were the second group to board the ship. We were placed in a middle table. I asked if we could sit next to the window and was told that seating is assigned based on when you made the reservation. This was NOT made mention when I booked this dinner cruise. You get one drink and anything else to include water is an up charge. The meal was not up to what was expected with the price paid. Not that the meal was bad but not for the price. I did have the best pumpkin soup I have eaten. My wife had the duck that was very dry and I had trout that was dry as well. My cheesecake for dessert tasted like the frozen kind you get from the grocery store. I was considering only given 2-stars but the service was OK. You could not say we had a candlelit dinner due to the very bright lights in the center of the ship. People on the sides did have a candlelit dinner as they didn’t have the bright lights above their tables. If you want to book this you better book months in advance. And don’t expect a Michelin star meal. The live music was enjoyable. I would not recommend or do this dinner cruise again.
