What are people saying about Budapest

A spectacular afternoon with Ben, the wonder guide!
This tour was my very first Viator booking ever. My gal, Al, and I requested a tuck tuck tour of Budapest with a guide possessed of a great sense of humor and superb local knowledge Within moments of meeting Ben in front of our hotel, we knew that Viator had picked just the right guy. First Ben’s English is so idiomatic and so perfect. He could easily pass for a local boy from New York or California and for the next three hours, he showed us just what we wanted to see in Budapest in which he gave us superb insight on local history, culture and customs. We also asked Ben to show us where the young people go and what they do in Budapest and been obliged us with stops at the wonderful ruin bars and other attractions we probably would have missed with another tour guide. Five stars to Viator and Ben as the afternoon spent with him in his tuck tuck mobile was the very best time we spent during our visit to Budapest!

Wonderful way to spend an evening.
This was so much fun! The food was great, and I enjoyed the dancing, though for the best view, face the center of the boat. The music was excellent. My only regret is that with the water and electricity conservation the buildings were not lit up. This is so worth your time and I strongly recommend it for a real "taste" of Hungary.

A kind, welcoming crew...
A kind, welcoming crew and a beautiful cruise ! A little boat, so no big crowds. We had to ask for the audio guide, but it was immediately given to us, with more information and anecdotes given by a crew/guide member ! You will need to have your own headphones, though.

Great Tour
My daughter and I did this tour today (August 8, 2026) and it was fabulous! Our guide Ester was wonderful. She has a good voice for guiding and gathers everyone close so they can hear. She explained so much about the food and how it related to the Hungarian culture and history. Portion size was quite large and by the time we finished, we knew that we would need no dinner. We also enjoyed the very international group of participants. This was a GREAT tour-well worth the price.

Beauty is at every turn in Budapest, whether you’re strolling through the Hungarian capital’s historic streets or sailing along the Danube River that splits the city in two. Budapest tours make it easy to see many of the city’s highlights with a guide, whether by bus, boat, e-scooter, Segway, or even tuk-tuk. Some focus on history, while others offer a deep dive into the city’s rich culinary heritage. Budapest is also a great base for taking trips into the surrounding countryside for a bit of wine tasting.
