Ben gave a very informative history of Jewish life in Budapest and the Doheny St. synagogue. He was articulate , easy to be with and informative. The small group imitation to 12 people maximum is a plus. Ben shared stories of his family illustrating the prrsonal impact of history.

This is the best tour we have ever taken anywhere! Benjamin the tour guide was so knowledgeable and provided information that we never expected. He was willing to and answered all questions both personal and about the Jewish culture and history in Budapest. We not only were in awe of the synagogue and everything we saw but were truly educated to a way of life that most Americans have no concept of - were not taught in history classes. We gained a healthy respect for the way things were for the Jewish people as well as an understanding of our own heritage.

A must when in Budapest. With all the history behind the Jewish people’s experience in the world, I was so grateful to see the community living with the past, asking everyone to remember, recognizing that there is good in the world, and moving on -looking to the future. Our guide, Benjamin, was amazing-a young man who loves his heritage and country. He is extremely knowledgeable and was open to all of our questions. He appreciated that all of us were here to learn and remember. Thank you Benjamin and we will remember!!
