A more intimate way to see the city.
Guides were knowledgeable and fun Gabriella, Peter, Greg. Certainly worth the money.

It was fabulous. Great driver "Z"
We hadn't had any lunch he took us to a great little Hungareian pastry resturant.

Outstanding tour from local experts . Highly recommended. The guides were excellent with extensive knowledge of historical facts. Great way to see the sights without eating yourselves up waking in areas you are not familiar.

This tour was my very first Viator booking ever. My gal, Al, and I requested a tuck tuck tour of Budapest with a guide possessed of a great sense of humor and superb local knowledge
Within moments of meeting Ben in front of our hotel, we knew that Viator had picked just the right guy. First Ben’s English is so idiomatic and so perfect. He could easily pass for a local boy from New York or California and for the next three hours, he showed us just what we wanted to see in Budapest in which he gave us superb insight on local history, culture and customs. We also asked Ben to show us where the young people go and what they do in Budapest and been obliged us with stops at the wonderful ruin bars and other attractions we probably would have missed with another tour guide.
Five stars to Viator and Ben as the afternoon spent with him in his tuck tuck mobile was the very best time we spent during our visit to Budapest!

This is a great way to see Budapest. Robert and Martin were great and had detailed commentary on all historical areas. They tailored the tour to our needs and wants. It was quick to get through traffic as well. Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended experience.

We did the private tuk-tuk tour with Budapest TukTuk and were lucky to have Gabriella for our personal tour guide. She picked us up at our hotel, and it turned out to be the best three hours of our time in Budapest. She took us up to Castle Hill, out to Heroes’ Square, and through the Jewish Quarter, where she brought us to the Tree of Life memorial behind the Great Synagogue. Gabriella is full of energy, and her knowledge of the history of Budapest is so impressive.
She also gave us restaurant recommendations that were better than anything we’d found online, and steered us to the right bath house for what we wanted rather than just naming the famous one. Highly recommend, and if Gabriella is your guide, you’re in for a treat.

Experiencing Budapest by Tuk Tuk was wonderful. My guide Peter G. Was well versed in the history, back stories and culture. I wish my tour could have been extended multiple hours, Peter’s knowledge was incredible and I found myself wanting to see and hear more of the Budapest life, local gastronomy favorites and the art scene. This was an all around amazing experience one on one and I would highly recommend doing this again. Thank you Peter!!

The guides were excellent! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and had great personalities. They were very patient with our group and it was so HOT, but they never gave the impression that they were bothered by the heat. I am a travel advisor and I will definitely recommend this tour for my clients. It was so unique and we were able to see so much more of the city than if we were on a walking tour.

David was a very knowledgeable guide. He showed me what I knew I needed to see and what he knew I needed to see.

My family & I made our first ever trip to Budapest on 18 June 2026. Having never been to this city (or country) before, I decided to book a Budapest TukTuk tour to help give us the lay of the land before exploring on our own. (It also just looked pretty darn fun!) We are so glad we did!!
Our flight to Budapest was delayed a few hours so I contacted the tour operator to let them know our timing was going to be very tight. Someone responded to me promptly & we were able to adjust our timing to a bit later in the day. That was very much appreciated & unexpected! (I know summertime tours are sometimes very difficult to rearrange.) Once at our hotel, we did a quick turn and met our guides, Robert & Ben, right outside of the hotel. So convenient!!
Because we are a family of four, we needed 2 TukTuks. Ben & Robert worked well together and crafted an itinerary on the spot based on some of our interests. They even brought us to a neighborhood ice cream shop (that we would never have found on our own) after my daughter asked about the "best ice cream shop in Budapest!" Throughout our tour, we made many stops so they could show us points of interest, share their vast knowledge of their beloved city & give us a bit of time to walk around/take photos. Both Ben & Robert were professional, knowledgeable & personable. We felt like we were being shown the city by friends. The tour went by so quickly. We could have spent the whole day with them! Thank you, Ben, Robert & Budapest TukTuk! You were our first impression of Budapest and it was wonderful one that will stick with us forever!

Martin is hands down the absolute best tour guide in Budapest! He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so accommodating throughout our entire trip. His depth of knowledge is truly impressive—he doesn't just know the rich history of Hungary inside and out, but he's also amazingly well-versed in current events, local life, and modern Hungarian culture. You get such a complete and authentic picture of the city with him.
As for the tuk-tuk—it's an absolute marvel! It can park practically anywhere, which makes navigating the city's sights smooth, effortless, and super fun.
Martin is simply the best, and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough if you're visiting Budapest!
David_H, Jul 2026
David our driver was very knowledgeable and flexible to add a place we wanted to go. It was open air but with a roof to block the sun so you could still take pictures. We stopped at multiple sites to visit & take photos. The roads can be rough in spots causing a bumpy ride occasionally and it is a diesel going up & down the hills.
Dan_H, Jul 2026
One of our favorite things we did in Budapest. They tailored the trip for us perfectly. Great stop for drinks In the middle of the ride.
Joan_P, Jul 2026
It can be tailored to exactly what you want. So much quicker than a bus. Very personal and, if you have a knowledgable driver like we had in Ben, it’s just super.
Margo_B, Jul 2026
Enjoyable, personal and uncomplicated way to see the sites of Budapest. Driver Robert was personable and agreed to take us to other sites that we had not seen the day before. Helped us by taking photos. And the beauty is the Tuk Tuk could park close to tourist venue entrances.
Cristina_T, Jul 2026
We saw almost everything in 2 and a half hours… great guide! ………………………………………,.,,,,,, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
DWIGHT_D, Jul 2026
Gabriela was a fantastic tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and charming. She accommodated the tour to our interest. This was a lot of fun and would highly recommend.
Nicholas_F, Jul 2026
This was even better than we expected. David was a great Tuk Tuk driver and great guide. We told him what we had already seen in Budapest and what we wanted to see. We mentioned the mini statues and he made sure to stop at a few that were near our route. Truly a personalized experience and well worth the price. We have been on many tours around the world and this was one of the best, made even better by the ride in a Tuk Tuk. Also, note that the Tuk Tuck can go some places that larger tour buses cannot. So, you can get to some sites others can’t or, at least, get closer to some sites. A+++
Basil_C, Jul 2026
Great way to go to places that tour groups can’t because of the size of the vehicle and if you have disabilities getting around by foot walking is greatly reduced and waiting in traffic because it can go around cars etc
Dawn_P, Jul 2026
This a fun way to see some of the best parts of Budapest, and learn some history. It rained a bit, and we were protected in our tuk tuk, but our guide also took us to places where we could stay dry, yet still see historical sights.
Once the rain cleared we were able to see even more. Our guide Roberto was very knowledgeable! He also recommended wonderful places to eat, and roof top bars for the best views of the city.
Don_R, Jul 2026
The only way to see so much of Budapest in a few hours without wasting a lot of time figuring out public transport or trying to navigate in the city.
Paul was thoroughly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city. His explanations and answers to our questions were clear and comprehensive.
Mark_V, Jul 2026
Excellent way to see the city, fun and easy with knowledgeable and friendly guides.
Gabor and David were very friendly and knew the city well.
Janice_A, Jul 2026
Roberto showed up promptly. He was knowledgeable about the history of Budapest and Hungary. His enthusiasm about what he was showing us was infectious! He was very willing to customize the tour to meet our interests. We loved the experience.
Lisa_G, Jul 2026
We loved it and highly recommend! it’s a great way to see the city and learn about the history and great spots to go back to based on your interests. We also appreciated being able to let our tour lead do all the navigation upon just arriving that morning and being tired. if you get Ben you are lucky, he was awesome and very knowledge and catered to our interests.
Bill_H, Jul 2026
Incredible way to view the city with one on one personal guide.
Roberto, our guide was an incredible wealth of knowledge and history for the country.
Couldn’t have been happier, we walked feeling like we didn’t miss a single thing.
Paul_B, Jun 2026
Just a great tour. Robert was our guide, a local with great historical knowledge. Highly recommended!!
Garry_M, Jun 2026
It is a lot of fun, you get up close to lots of attractions and our driver was very informative and kept moving at the right pace.
Sarah_S, Jun 2026
We had an amazing tuk tuk tour of Budapest with Martin! It was the perfect way to see the city, and by the end we genuinely felt like we’d seen all of the major sights. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable, shared so many interesting facts about Budapest’s history and culture, and kept the tour fun and engaging throughout.
What really made the experience stand out were all of Martin’s recommendations for what to do, see, and eat after the tour. His local tips helped us make the most of the rest of our time in Budapest. If you’re visiting the city, I highly recommend starting your trip with this tour—and if you can, ask for Martin!
