Attila picked us up promptly at our hotel and instantly I knew we were going to have a great day trip to Vienna. The drive to Vienna was very comfortable and relaxing and Attilia made sure we had the bathroom stop. We enjoyed the summer palce tour in Vienna and the highlights where we went I the city were amazing. Thx Attilia for driving and all your good knowledge of everything. You made our day a good memory.
Our tour guide, Attila, was great! Knowledgeable, funny & customized the tour just for us. This tour is a wonderful one day taste of Vienna.
Wonderful experience from the moment our guide picked us up from the hotel to the moment our adventure was over. Our guide ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of all day long. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and experienced. It was the perfect day trip to Vienna. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness our guide had for our wellbeing and overall enjoyment of the trip. Definitely made us feel like VIP guests.
Our day trip from Budapest to Vienna was great. Our guide, Attila, was very knowledgeable and pointed out interesting sites along the three hour drive, as well as the sites of Vienna. Lunch was in a quaint restaurant with good food, friendly staff. Dessert was amazing! Attila's many years as a guide provided us with restaurant suggestions and personal care services in Budapest, offering his help in any way. Meeting him was an invaluable part of our visit to Vienna and Budapest. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a great time with our guide, Attila. He was a very safe, excellent driver and made me feel at ease getting us to Vienna with my 7 year old in the van. He was very informative and talked just enough but not too much where the information was overwhelming. He did not rush us at all and was very patient with my daughter chasing birds lol. We highly recommend this tour and appreciate our guide!
It was a nice quick tour of the highlights of Vienna with Susan, and we felt it was a good balance of structured and free time. Susan is extremely knowledgeable.
This was a one-day mostly walking tour of Vienna set in between 3 hour drive there and back from Budapest. The tour of the Hapsburg summer palace was well done and followed by a delicious Wiener schnitzel lunch at a local diner (tasty Austrian beer included). We then continued to the downtown area for a 2 hour tour on foot of the exterior of parliament buildings, Hapsburg winter palace and ancient churches. The area also has many high end shops if you are interested in shopping.
Our guide Attila is very good driver handling the highways and downtown areas equally well. His knowledge of the history of this historic city was appreciated.
So much fun- like traveling with fun friends who know everything there is to know! We loved our excursion to Vienna !

Sisi's Castle was fabulous. It brought the story of Maria Teresa to life. Such a great story. I also loved the lunch in Vienna. I also loved the Statue of Mozart. Susan our guide was marvelous.

Atilla was our guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about Vienna and Budapest.
Unfortunately it rained but we were still able to get to see most of the sights and enjoyed the tour of Schönbrunn, despite it being busy, we had plenty of time to explore.
Lunch was nice, we had Schnitzel and Apple strudel, plenty of it and the cafe was really quirky with different themed rooms nicely decorated.
We had time for shopping then did a walking tour through downtown Vienna to see more of the historical buildings and learn more about them.
We decided to head back a bit earlier because of the weather.
We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone short on time wanting to get an overview of the city, but be aware it is a long day and quite tiring.
Please do NOT hesitate to book this excursion. Susan, my tour guide, is a gem! She is friendly, professional, and clearly has a passion for her work as a tour guide. She went above and beyond. I started the day feeling as though was having a tour with a fabulous history professor and ended the day feeling as though I had spent the day with an old friend. The experience and the memories will be cherished! 5+++….
This was a quick trip for us as we travelled from Budapest. It was very exciting seeing Vienna it was truly what we expected. The buildings were amazing and St Stephen’s Cathedral was breathtaking. We also visited Schonbrunn Palace. The Gardens absolutely beautiful , probably need to spend a whole day there. Susan our director was amazing knew her stuff. Lunch was ok.
Great Tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history of both Budapest and Vienna. He was very friendly and paced the tour with flexibility. If you are looking to squeeze in another country while in Budapest, this is a fantastic option!

Our private guided trip to Vienna was wonderful. We toured Schönbrunn Palace and saw many of the historical sites, plus had a wonderful lunch. But the best part of the trip was our guide, Susan. I thought the 2.5-hour road trip there and then back might be awkward with a person in the car we didn't know, but instead the time flew. She was very personable and full of interesting information not only about Vienna but also Budapest and Hungary too. The drive time flew due to her engaging stories about Vienna, Budapest, and Hungary. Susan is a gem and made the trip truly unforgettable.
Amazing trip with the lovely Susan who transported us safely and was very knowledgeable and chatty throughout our journey. We really enjoyed getting to know her. It was a long day but worth it to see Vienna - great little lunch spot too.
Attila was fantastic. We loved his stories and historical context as we drove to Vienna and then while we were in Vienna. We wanted to see a museum that was not part of the normal tour and he adjusted so we could see it. Attila speaks 6 languages and was a very impressive guide. The tour was well worth the travel and long day. Lots of walking. The whole thing with travel and lunch took 12 hours.
Enjoyed sight seeing. City very pretty. Tour person very professional.. Will book again on private tour

This tour ended up being a very convenient way to go from Budapest to Vienna. Tour of Vienna was nothing special, but the visit to Schonbrunn castle was very interesting, but extremely large crowds.
This was overall a great trip However travellers should be warned that there is a Lot of walking involved. It was advertised that we would have a choice to shop but we were not asked what we would like to do. I had to ask if I could quickly nip into a shop but felt rushed. Lunch was included however we were taken to a Hungarian restaurant which given we were staying in Budapest we were already familiar with Hungarian cuisine. During lunch my husband found two hairs in his main course. This was replaced however usually a restaurant would not charge by way of an apology.. we were not offered any reimbursement. I found some of the tour guides comments quite rude, he told us a story about Arnold schwarzeneger and used crude language telling a tale about arranging for a female friend of his to meet him and what happened during that meeting. Also another tale about finding a phone in his car that belonged to a male passenger and how it wasn't his wife calling but another woman, and suggested that this was a prostitute...totally unnecessary to discuss things of this nature in my opinion. Towards the end of the trip I literally had to beg Thomas for no more walking..we are in our late 50's and not as fit as we once were.

As you can read Thomas is one of our most popular guide taking care of any extra wishes, he costumizes the tour according to the guests needs every time. I was very disappointed reading your negative comments about the tour. Regarding the lunch in the Hungarian restaurant, please note this is a very popular AUSTRIAN restaurant also serving several Hungarian dishes, and the owner is Hungarian living in Austria since 1980's.They served you the famous WienerSchiztel menu (traditional Austrian menu)for you with extra drinks. The restaurant can be found on the main walking shopping street-Kartnerstrasse where you had so many possibilities for shopping, Thomas did recommend you several shops to enter. Vienna city tour can be arranged partly by car and party by walking. Thomas made a great overview for you from the vehichle in the famous RINGstrasse showing you all the sighseeing points there. The rest of the main attractions can be found in a walking area between the Opera house and the Hofburg area which is a pleasant 20-30 Min walk each directions. Thomas does respect any wishes to reorganize the tour accordingly.
I was absolutely shocked about the stories you mentioned but not about Vienna city, what you have seen all day, rather then Thomas, who was speaking about several famous Austrian people who become popular worldwide, like Arnold Schwarzeneger without mentioning any prostitute....etc. He is a VERY intelligent, polite and professional guide and I can not accept this! We work hard to arrange fantastic services for our guests, we do respect every guests!
My elderly mother, my 8-year old and I went for this trip on a day where it was 34 degrees C by 10am. I was worried everyone would be miserable walking around Vienna in the heat. Fortunately, our guide, Attila, knew exactly what to do to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We walked in the shade except for places where it was unavoidable. We went indoors occasionally. It was a bit of touch and go, but that is to be expected when you want to cover many attractions within a short time. Overall, we had a good time, learned a lot about Austria and Vienna, and took many good pictures. For those wondering how much walking is involved, I clocked a little over 10,000 steps that day. Lunch was delicious, even with my vegetarian meal. The car ride was 2.5 hours and comfortable.

Excellent tour to Vienna from Budapest. Solo tous with a guide can be awkward. But this tour was like spending a day with an old friend , who happened to be extremely knowledgeable about Budapest and Vienna. My guide, Tom S., was excellent. Great tour
