The best bang for your buck of any cruise in Budapest! This is the prettiest waterline I’ve ever seen and you need to see it from the water at night! The unlimited prosecco was a nice bonus as the fiance and I combined to have 8 total glasses. Great deal and great experience!

Disappointing Cruise

Unfortunately not a good experience. Very crowded and lots of folks drinking and smoking. Not enough seats to enjoy and wish I knew this before we booked this tour.

Avoid at all costs,, I didn’t expect a quiet boat ride because it’s a party boat but this was ridiculous, so many rowdy people in there throwing drinks about, absolutely ruining the the view, you couldn’t even talk it was so loud, security did nothing and the staff had lost control of the situation, we spoke to a member of staff as we were splashed with alcohol when they were throwing drinks at each other and we were met with a very rude reply, the staff member in question was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met, she should not be working there if she can’t talk to people with respect! Her reply being it’s a big boat and you could have moved somewhere else, that would be hard being there were no seats. Absolutely stank of cigarettes and we saw someone just throw a lit cigarette onto the wooden deck! Waste of money!

Super crowded. All very young people. No place to sit. Lots of smoking. I'd suggest a smaller boat designed for people who don't need throbbing music on a packed boat.

Terrible evening

Not for us. We are in our 50s and were expecting a relaxing night cruising and sipping prossecco. (Called sip and sail) We ended up in the middle of a party boat surrounded by youngsters getting drunk on bright coloured fluids. We couldn’t see out of the windows as a lot of them where standing in front of them as not enough seating for everyone to sit down. The music was banging and loud. We couldn’t wait to get off. Great for kids who want loud music and cheap alcohol but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet evening.

Good but disorganise

The actual boat trip was good however, we sued from 6.30pm boarded at 7.30pm but it was very disorganised and while we were told we were in the right place and we would be let on in order of the Que, they let a lot of people who pushed in on first which was annoying (about 30 people plus went on before us) when I mentioned this to the staff they said there was enough room for everyone … there was capacity but we waited for a good spot which was annoying

Disappointing, late, not sunset, not what we expected.

We booked this cruise in Budapest to celebrate our 10th anniversary, but unfortunately the experience fell well short of what was advertised. We received updated directions to a specific dock and arrived at 17:50 for the 18:00 boarding time so we could enjoy the full 90-minute cruise. No boat arrived at the location we were directed to. After waiting around 30 minutes, a member of staff eventually appeared at approximately 18:20 and walked us about 300 metres down the river to a different pier. When we arrived there, we were held on the gangway for another 10 minutes and then told the cruise had been overbooked and that we might not be able to board. At this point we could clearly see passengers already on the boat enjoying drinks. Considering we had arrived early and had paid for the premium drinks package, this was extremely frustrating. A few minutes later we were told the trip was not actually overbooked and we were finally allowed onboard. The boat then departed almost immediately at around 18:40 and returned at approximately 19:30. This means the cruise lasted roughly 50 minutes rather than the advertised 90 minutes, so we effectively lost around 40 minutes of the experience we paid for. The “premium drinks” offering was also very misleading. Drinks were served in plastic cups and when we returned them they were simply refilled rather than replaced. There was nothing about this that felt premium. It is also worth noting that the marketing images and many review photos suggest a relaxed sunset cruise. In reality this trip took place entirely at night and the experience looked nothing like the images used to promote it. We raised these issues with Renato, the experience manager, when we returned. He listened and acknowledged our concerns, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the experience itself had already been spoiled. For something booked to celebrate a special anniversary, the whole experience felt disorganised, misleading and very poor value for money

Enjoyed the cruise around the main buildings in Budapest all lit up, however very hard to get back to the bar for so called limitless drinks. We sat on top deck and were lucky enough to get seats as most had to stand. I would say this is mostly for the younger generations.

Boat was far too busy, with no seating & 15minute wait at the bar so missed a lot! Cruise don’t leave on time was at least 15-20 mins late & was back in dock early too so total time was just over an hour

A fun way to see an amazing city

A very nice and fun cruise up and down the Danube which is a great way to see this stunning city. Staff was friendly, boat was nice,drinks were flowing, but I would suggest getting to the boat dock and in the line early as there wasn’t a lot of seating. One other issue was and I’m not sure if this is the app’s fault or the company who operates the tour, but there was no meeting point listed. I had to send a message asking and a few hours before boarding they responded with the location.

Boarding was incredibly chaotic and disorganized; the boat seemed like they were more comfortable cramming people on rather than making this enjoyable experience for passengers. They were not adequately staffed — specifically in the bar area. Beer ran out 24 minutes after departure; Would advise spending more money for a better experience.

Expect to see hundreds, I am not kidding, hundreds lined up for this tour. Most of them were resigned, annoyed at the length of the line or drunk. It was clear based on my position in the line that I would be inside not outside. It was simply not an attractive way to spend cocktail hour. In the end, I got a Prosecco overlooking the Danube instead and skipped it. I suggest you do the same.

They would have been nice, but the management was bad. Left in line to wait for a ship to dock that was supposed to unload people, from the previous voyage. With the sandstorm. No plausible explanation for the delay. Scheduled departure was at 20.30 We actually left at 8.51pm. Expected duration was 1 hour and 30. It actually lasted just over an hour. So something that was supposed to close our holidays turned into a disappointment. I sincerely hope the other companies work better.
