Our guide, Dominik, was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer any questions we had; he also knew the city well so we spent little time wondering where to go and how to get there. He knew the best routes and public transport to take to save time and money. If we wanted to see something that was not on the itinerary Dominik made it happen. *****

Krisztian was an amazing host and guide, and had incredible local and historical knowledge with a great personality. Even recommended local restaurants and cafes there were amazing. He asked what we wanted and delivered. Great part of our trip to Budapest.

Greg was an amazing tour guide. He gave us lots of history information while showing us the key places in Budapest. We were only 4 people on the small tour so we definitely benefited from having what felt like a private tour. Greg's knowledge of Budapest coupled with his wonderful demeanor and customer service focus truly made our experience memorable. I just wish we had more time with him! If you only have a short visit in Budapest because you are doing a river cruise or excursion from here, I highly recommend Greg. If you can ask for him, you should. You will not be disappointed!

Ben was prompt, quite knowledgeable & intelligent, engaging….as a local, he was well acquainted with the history of the synagogue and all the sites on visited on the tour. He shared Holocaust stories of families who survived as well as economic and political issues that affected Hungarians past and present.

This was a very thorough review of key landmarks in the city led by our extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide, Dora! The price is right and the service delivered exceeded expectations! Be sure to ask Dora for additional tips following the tour on restaurants, shopping, and other highlights you don’t want to miss while in Budapest! We particularly enjoyed a great restaurant along the river that she recommended to us. Dora was an exceptional guide!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. The boat was modern, comfortable, and far less crowded than I expected. We booked the candlelit dinner cruise and it ended up being a fantastic way to experience the city after dark. The food was good, the service was attentive, and the live music added to the atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. The real star of the evening, however, is Budapest itself. Seeing the Parliament Building illuminated from the Danube is something every visitor should experience at least once. As the boat moved along the river, we were treated to incredible views of Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, Gellért Hill, and the city’s skyline. The entire waterfront felt like a movie set. What I appreciated most was the pace. There was no rushing, no crowded tour groups, and no pressure to move from place to place. It was simply a relaxing evening with great views, good food, and a unique perspective of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. If you’re visiting Budapest and trying to decide whether a Danube dinner cruise is worth it, my answer is absolutely yes. We left with some of our favorite memories and photos from the entire trip. Highly recommended.

A great way to see Budapest from another perspective, the service was great with welcoming staff. There is a modern check in point, waiting room and toilets at point of departure which made it feel like a elevated experience. The boat was comfortable and had the option of sitting outdoors on the top deck or inside with panoramic views. The audio guide was also useful and the optional stop at the island was great - I'd likely have taken this option if I had the time.
