Our dock is located on the riverside near Elizabeth Bridge, directly in front of the Marriott Hotel. Look for a large blue and white number 7 sign at the entrance.

Book your desired departure time, and travel independently to the departure pier in central Budapest. Then, take a seat aboard the comfortable, glass-enclosed boat. The boat's glass cover is retracted in good weather, so you can also enjoy the open air.
Then, view Budapest from the water as you sail along the river. Admire the UNESCO-listed Buda Castle district and Royal Palace, and float under the Elizabeth Bridge.
Learn about the landmarks from the onboard commentary, and enjoy the WiFi and your choice of a glass of sparkling wine, red or white wine, beer, soda, or mineral water.
Cruise under the Chain Bridge past the Hungarian Parliament to Margaret Island, set in the middle of the Danube. If you wish, step ashore on the island when your boat docks, and enjoy free time to explore before catching the next boat back to the starting pier.
Alternatively, stay aboard and finish your cruise without disembarking, admiring the riversides again before your experience ends at the departure pier.

A great way to see Budapest from another perspective, the service was great with welcoming staff. There is a modern check in point, waiting room and toilets at point of departure which made it feel like a elevated experience. The boat was comfortable and had the option of sitting outdoors on the top deck or inside with panoramic views. The audio guide was also useful and the optional stop at the island was great - I'd likely have taken this option if I had the time.

Booked this cruise for our trip to Budapest. The weather was amazing (November 2025). It was very informative and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Even got a free drink and tea as well. Which was great. Clean and good toilets too. Highly Recommend A+++

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Took the cruise at end of October so the whole of the upper deck was empty and I had the whole space to myself for most of the cruise. Got some excellent photos. The audio commentary was available from headsets both in the enclosed lower deck and also the open top deck. We were served our drinks on the way out and another on way back. The boat itself was very clean and beautiful. Would definitely recommend, we loved every second of it. Thanks to all involved.

This was a great sightseeing cruise of Budapest with narrative through headsets. It was a very relaxing way to see Budapest and the city is very beautiful from the water. Gives you a completely different perspective. The drinks were also a nice addition. And it wasn't crowded so you had plenty of room to wander around and take pictures.

A relaxing cruise and a great way of seeing some of the most beautiful land marks on both sides of the city. Being able to get off at Margaret island and catch another ferry back was an added bonus.

It would be amazing if people would stop talking on their phone, face timing, and yelling to each other while you are trying to listen to the tour. FYI .....we don't all want to listen to you😉
This ride was wonderful. If only to see Margaret island, it would be worth it. Getting to see Parliament and the bridges from a different perspective was wonderful.

The Danube river cruise was a lovely experience overall — the ride was refreshing and the views along the river were beautiful. A highlight for me was the optional 45-minute stop at Margaret Island. The Japanese garden there was peaceful, with ponds, flowers, and greenery that made for a very relaxing break from the city.
However, the organization could be better. I arrived 15 minutes before departure as instructed and waited at the meeting point, but no one came to meet us. Only a few minutes before departure did I realize that we were supposed to go straight down to the gate, where tickets were checked and boarding took place. Clearer instructions would have made this much smoother.
Also, while the cruise advertised audio guides, I decided not to use them because the headphones were reused from previous passengers and not sanitized — some were even left hanging from the seats. I think this is something that definitely needs improvement.
Overall, the cruise is worth it for the scenery and the Margaret Island stop, but I hope the organizers improve communication and hygiene to make the experience even better.

The boat tour was great! The audio tour guide is included in the seats on the boat, with headphones available. We toured north up to Margaret Island, and were let off to explore it. The boat comes back about ever 45 minutes (depending on the season), and you can hop back on any boat you’d like, or stay on your original if you don’t want to visit. The boat returns back to the original dock at the end.

Very good cruise option, check-in in easy place (close the city center), on deck a drink (you can choose: beef, wine, prosseco), you can take a break on Margit island after 45 minutes you could back to city center by next cruise. Perfect, I can recom honest;)
