Had the perfect time for the sunset and the lighting of the parliament building.
Unfortunately we had some wind and rain. Would have been nice to have a cover on the top deck.
Get there early to get in line. Seats up top fill up quickly. Best views are from the top. Great experience.
It’s worthwhile would highly recommend this experience. Everything is lovely in the evening hours. We did the last one of the night.

It says “cocktails provided as welcome drink” but there was no cocktails; only small glass of white wine, not even an option for red.
The tour was scheduled for 7pm (sunset time) but they didn’t board us until 7pm and by the time we left, we missed the sunset completely.

Nobody has promised a cocktail, we promised a welcome drink. You had an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic welcome drink option, as promised.
It was nice. But we pay for roof top sightseeing and there were more people than chairs on the roof of the boat

The rooftop sightseeing is not in the product description, so you definitely not pay for that. Seats are taken in the order of arrival as clearly noted.
Set this for just before dusk. On the way south, you will see the clear daylight view, and on the way back, you will experience the even prettier nighttime view.
A perfect evening cruise on the Danube in picturesque Budapest. The cruise offers you a unique and scenic view of the city’s skyline so you see both Buda and Pest simultaneously. It is truly one of the best offerings by Viator. One review encourages you to board at 7:30 PM so you capture the city’s evening lights. No matter what time you take the cruise you will be pleased. The crew aboard the boat were friendly and helpful.

Sightseeing Budapest over the Danube is an Enchanting experience. Tha Parlament, The Buda Castje,The Chain Bridge, The City Market and all the iconic Monuments look amazing from the water. The ship was comfortable and the staff , friendly.

Lovely relaxing cruise after walking around the town.
7.30pm is a perfect time to watch the lights come on and transfer the town into a fairy tale.
We were on time but the woman did not let us in because the boat departed earlier. Viator said they could not help us

We are sorry, that you have missed the cruise, however it is your time schedule, your intentions. The boat was on time, surprisingly the other passengers could make it, while only you complained reaching it past departure time - 4 minutes late. Being even 1 minute late does not help.
Departure time is clearly indicated, you have arrived after that, the boat has gone. We do not control your schedule, however the boat needs to be on schedule. A gesture of goodwill was proposed, though we did not miss the boat.
Beautiful views of the river, bridges and palaces. I was looking for an activity for later Saturday evening and this 10pm River cruise was perfect!
The view is beyond spectacular. An hour is all you need. The boat lacked any atmosphere and you were served a glass of watered down wine. It was good value though.
This was a waste of time and money. No audio tour which made it seem incomplete. I think there are better boat tours. Otherwise, the boat itself was fine and the staff was friendly.
Great experience to see Budapest at night; for a very inexpensive price compared to other tours - must do !!!

Probably one of the best value river cruises you can do. The free drinks were just fine, and the table service was outstanding. The Mojito was to die for. Staff extremely friendly.
Few sits me and my girlfriend been up the whole cruise, bad personal ugly boat and bad drinks!!!!!!!
Good 1 hour river cruise. You get cruise just past Margaret island bridge at port 42 which is right at the end of the line of other cruise ports. Get there 30 minutes before sailing to guarantee a seat on top deck.
Good value compared to other companies. Guess its cheaper due to the distance you have to walk to port.
It’s a quick boat ride, and you see all of the major Danube landmarks. Get there early and get in line to get a seat with a better view.
Lovely tour, on time both the departure and the arrival. We got a welcome drink upon embarking. If you want to enjoy the deck view make sure to be in line quite early
Excellent boat tour. Smooth boarding and wonderful view of the main riverfront buildings. The free wine is terrible though.
Make sure you allow enough time to arrive at the departure dock in case the time is off. My booking listed a different time from the actual departure but they were kind enough to let us get on the earlier launch. Budapest is beautiful from the water at night and definitely worth booking.
Amazing! I recommend sitting in the very front of the boat at the first level. From this seat, I had excellent views of both sides of the river traveling in both directions. We picked the 10:00 pm tour because we wanted to see the parliament building lit up at night.
