Book your preferred departure time, and travel independently to the departure pier in central Budapest.
Admire the glass-topped vessel and step aboard. Find a seat in the cabin and enjoy your first views of Budapest from the water as you set sail along the famous river.
Cruise southward past the UNESCO-listed Danube riversides, absorbing the lamplit waterfronts of Buda and Pest, and sailing under the floodlit Elizabeth Bridge and Liberty Bridge.
Admire the panoramic views of the Buda Castle district, making out the twinkling Royal Palace, and learn about the sights from the onboard film and recorded commentary (available in 30 languages). Along the way, sip on your choice of a glass of Champagne, wine, beer, soda, or mineral water, and if you wish, use the onboard Wi-Fi.
Have your camera ready to capture the floodlit spires of the Hungarian Parliament building, and glide under the Chain Bridge, its archways and suspension chains aglitter with lights.

Highly recommend taking this cruise. The views were amazing, the beautiful city of Budapest all light up at night. The commentary was great too. We had issues with our booking, which were dealt with swiftly and we also took a wrong turning from the bridge and was half an hour late for our selected booking, but this was quickly amended for us for the next sailing. We would definitely do this on our next visit to Budapest.

Not well organized. Very crowded. Head phones missing in many of the seats. Had to ask for them. Have had better evening River cruises.

The audio would have been better if it told you what you were looking at. Like “ on your right side is the…” and “up ahead on your left high on the hill you’ll see….”. It told you history but you had to guess what building they were referring to.
Up top is where you want to be because the downstairs was very hot.
Also, the “champagne” was flatter than flat. Kind of gross actually.
I’m still giving this trip 2 stars because it’s a magical boat ride! But don’t look to be impressed by the add ons. It’s also affordability priced.

Arrive early to get a good seat. Drink provided when settled. Don't bother with the headphones. Staff are friendly. Building are beautiful during the night, well lit, was able to get amazing pictures.

Nice simple river cruise with audio guide. Variety of drinks available too. The guide also has a video that is shown. We sat upstairs. We did 8.20pm and the lights had only just come on

Perfect way to see more of Hungary than just Budapest. Amazing places too see and experience. Bring cash because you will have to pay for toilet in some places. A is 100% the best guide and thanks for all the help!

The Cruise itself was great. The staff was professional but kind. The 20:00 time slot was perfect for pictures you get both daytime and night. My favorite was the it up Parliament. Only takeaway is not serving local beer on the Cruise.

If you want to enjoy the tour with the best views, arrive early and wait at the boarding gate so you can get good seats on the upper deck. If you’re taking the evening tour with a child, don’t forget to bring a blanket, as it can get quite chilly because of the wind during the one-hour trip.

My husband and I took the 9 p.m. Danube cruise. We boarded the ship and sat on the top deck with ease. The night cruise in July was breezing but not cold. We were served a drink to enhance our journey. As we cruised up and down the Danube, we were taking in all the breathtaking views of the surrounding buildings. It was just magical and beautiful.

This is the best way to see Budapest. It was so beautiful at night and from the river is a totally different view and whole new way to fall in love with Budapest! It’s hot in summer so dress to stay cool in line and boarding and get a window seat to catch the evening breeze and great pictures-we live our portable clip on fans! The videos that accompany give extra context on the buildings and bridges in your language on a hand held audio device. We learned a lot.

Water levels low, but nice excursion past Parliament. Departed 8:15 pm so not all lights of Parliament were on. If doing this tour in July, I would suggest 9 pm departure so you can see the city all lit up

We enjoyed the late evening cruise to on the river. The sites of Budapest at night are not to be missed. The cruise offered included wine, beer, or other non alcoholic drinks brought to us by staff—no waiting in lines for drinks! The waterfront is lively and fun and we used the metro to get to the area. The ship was comfortable and the crew were friendly.

Excellent boat tour. Amazing views, audio guide and pace. However, the boat wasn’t very clean. The seats were all stained and had marks. The floor was also very dirty.

Everything was great: the boarding process, the crew, and the cruise itself. The only disappointment was the audio guide. The maximum volume on the headphones was extremely low, making it almost impossible to hear the recorded commentary. Even after trying several different headphones, I could only hear something if I physically pressed them against my ears.

Very nice river cruise. Easy to locate dock, quick line to board, friendly staff. Instructions given in 4 languages as to choices of beverages. We were on the 8:15 pm time slot which was nice. Started out in the day light and ended by the Parliament Building as the lights turned on. I think an 8:30 pm start time might have been better so the sky could be darker with the lights. Just time of year with sunsetting a bit later. But all in all a nice experience.
