Alex_H, Aug 2026
Attila was brilliant. He was very helpfull and informative and funny. We explored down town Budapest from a local perspective. We saw verry cool interesting places. They went the extra mile to help me. Verry nice and happy walking tour it was. I reccomend them to anyone. I didn't know Hungary was connected to Carpatia ship from the a story of Titanic. That ship was comming to the Austro Hungarian empire. Great tour.

We did this tour the day we arrived which I recommend as you quickly get a sense of the city. Our guide, George was so informative and included all the various age groups we had on the tour. He showed us all the interesting sights and happily answered all questions we had. He was not in a rush to end the tour and we went on for an additional 30 minutes. I highly recommend this tour

The tour guide was very knowledgeable but it sounded too rehearsed and monotone, she also spoke too fast to comprehend better

Response from Host, Jul 2026

The guide is a native English speaker. I spot checked the guide and she is speaking at normal speed not fast. However if your English is not to a good level there is little the guide can do.

Great tour!

History of Budapest

Shawna_L, Jul 2026
Sabi’s historical walking tour of the Pest side of Budapest was absolutely outstanding and one of the most enriching experiences of our visit. His depth of knowledge is remarkable, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to transform centuries of history into stories that are engaging, thought-provoking, and unforgettable. As we explored the grand boulevards, historic landmarks, and hidden corners of Pest, Sabi expertly connected the city’s architecture, politics, culture, and people in a way that gave us a much deeper appreciation for Budapest than we could have gained on our own. Every stop had meaning, and every story added another layer to our understanding of this incredible city. Sabi has a wonderful balance of professionalism, humor, and passion. He welcomed questions, encouraged discussion, and made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. It was evident that he genuinely loves sharing the history of his hometown, and that enthusiasm was contagious. If you’re looking for more than a sightseeing tour and want to truly understand the heart and soul of Budapest, Sabi is the guide you want. His tour doesn’t just show you the city, it helps you experience it. We left with a profound appreciation for Budapest’s resilience, beauty, and rich history, and we have Sabi to thank for making our visit so meaningful.

Attila was great ,very quick and took us to see all Budapest in 2.5 hours!!! I recommend it to everyone!

Sadly disappointing

Lisey_L, Jun 2026
Well it probably would have been very nice but nobody turned up by the bank to show us around this wonderful city. Us and another couple weren’t informed it had been cancelled. So we followed the itinerary and did it ourselves but obviously lost the history. Shame.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

I am sorry for your disappointment. We always aim to inforn guests in advance of any cancelation or change of plan. However in this instance it wasn't possible as the guide passed over unexpectedly. We are sorry for the disappointment.

Best 2 hrs in Budapest.

Best 2 hrs we spent in Budapest. Peter was funny, knowledgeable and shared so much. It was during a heat wave and it was still phenomenal.
