An informative tour that blends history, gastronomy, and all the key viewpoints — comfortably from the car, with punctuality and even a good bottle of water included. We stopped at several major landmarks for photos and short stories about each place, which really helped bring Budapest’s history to life.
The guide was flexible with the itinerary and managed to offer a clear snapshot of the city’s charm in a short amount of time. If you’re on a tight schedule, this tour covers a lot — fast, intense, and still comfortable. Definitely worth it.
The ease in traveling with a private tour guide/driver is worth every penny. You cover so much more ground and aren’t exhausted at the end of the day.
Gergely was so knowledgeable! Not only did he show us all the sites, he answered all of our questions in a wide range of topics including Hungary’s history, current economic/political environment, geographic neighbors, population, trends, and so much more. And all in the comfort of his air conditioned car. Highly recommend him for an immersive half day tour!

I apologize that the tour with my colleague did not fully meet your expectations. I know him and have worked together for at least 15 years. So far I've always been happy when he was able to represent me in the few cases when I couldn't do a tour myself because I always got the best feedback about his tours. He also has nothing but excellent reviews on his own Viator site. I'm sorry it doesn't seem to have been the case this time. This was a fantastic tour with a very well informed guide. It was perfect to gets feel for Budapest in a short time.
Did this tour on our first full day. What an excellent way to orientate to a new city. Gabriel was our guide. He had such a passion for his city that history was brought to life, Spoke excellent English, and was very pleasant with a great sense of humor.
Gergely customized our tour, taking into account what we had seen the day before. This was more immersive, which we liked. We covered so much in just 4 hours: the parliament building, Liberty Square, the Jewish Quarter, and the Great Hall Market. We sampled traditional traditional Hungarian foods along the way, which was a big hit with our family. And we used some public transportation to get around the city vs a private car, another thing we enjoyed as it felt more authentic. Last stop was a famous ruin bar. Fun!

This was a great personalized tour of the city with a driver and tour guide. We were able to have a guided driving tour of the city along with stops at historical and cultural places of interest and walking tours included-the best of both worlds! Wonderful guide who also asked us what we were interested in seeing if there was anything outside of the posted itinerary and she helped us find genuine paprika to bring home as well - really provided a wonderful tour and a genuine love of Budapest - would definitely recommend!
