A great introduction to Hungarian food and drink in interesting venues with Nora providing a lot of good background information about the cuisine plus a lot more. A nice walk around the backstreets included. Would recommend this tour.

What an incredible day in Budapest! We got to step back in time and experience what a wine bar of the past would have been like—such a unique atmosphere. I loved learning about Hungarian people and the history behind where their food traditions came from. We sampled several authentic dishes and desserts, and every bite was better than the last. The whole experience gave me such a deeper appreciation for the culture, and exploring the city afterwards made it even more memorable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Budapest!

This was an informative tour as well as a food tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. There was also lots of food, so much we couldn't eat it all. This is an extensive and long walking tour, so if you have leg join issues this may not be for you.

This tour is a must-do in Budapest for anyone interested in both the food and history of Hungary. Nora’s in depth knowledge of both gave us a rich and fulfilling day. From the Central Market to our last stop for coffee, we were fed well in between with Hungarian specialties and great stories. Thank you, Nora, for giving us such a great day!

Nora was a fantastic guide. She’s a former chef, so she shared a lot of details about Hungarian gastronomy along with history and culture. It was a fascinating tour. I feel like I have a good understanding of the cooking and dining culture of Budapest.
The food was all very good except that she offered pre-made chimney cakes from one of the underground stalls. That was disappointing since the individuals who wanted it could have gotten a freshly-made one from one of the places we passed on our walk.

Nora is very friendly and knowledgeable. Besides culinary information, she also shares cultural and history insights as a local. The tour’s absolutely memorable. A good amount of walking, so prepare comfortable walking shoes and empty belly.

This tour was an amazing introduction to Budapest and to Hungarian food and wine. Nora's passion for food really came through as did her deep knowledge of Budapest. We walked a lot, talked lot and ate a lot! It was an amazing 4-5 hours that we really enjoyed. Nora's recommendations helped us fill the rest of our stay, which is why you should do this tour before anything else! Wear comfy shoes and don't eat much for breakfast!

Nora is so passionate about the food and culture of her homeland and she shared it with us. Come hungry as there was plenty of food at each stop. Mixing in the history of the food stuffs as well as spices and how they changed with each cultural (invasion) to make their cuisine what it is today is what I wanted to learn.

Our food tour with Nora was one of the highlights of our grand European tour, hands down! Nora was very generous with her time and culinary expertise. We learned a ton about Hungarian food and history and got a wonderful walking tour of Budapest, as well. The food was delicious and abundant, so be sure to go hungry! There is a lot of walking, though, so be prepared. We really enjoyed the small group experience, too. Highly recommend this tour!

Nora (our guide) was very knowledgeable. The food was authentic and interesting. There was a lot of walking, but a great way to see the city. I loved the Langos (deep fried bread) with traditional Hungarian goulash.
