Our tour guide Gary gave us the best time possible, learning about Anchorage. He was knowledgeable, kind and generous with his information, all while driving us to several key highlighted stops. The Ulu Knife Factory, Alaska Sausage and Fish Company, (true to his word, the smoked Halibut was amazing), Alaska Wild Berry Products and several other points mixed in with these. We had a delightful afternoon.

Coastal Train Anchorage to Seward
Definitely show up an hour early to check your bags and make sure you are ready to board. Service was quick all the way from checking bags to getting my printed ticket. There's a gift shop and coffee joint inside, once you board there is assigned seating, if you're on a budget the Adventure Class is good but if you want the better experience then the GoldStar is the way to go. Overall guides were knowledgeable about the route and the things to see, it was a great experience! Would recommend this to anyone! Can't wait to take different routes and explore the rest of Alaska Railroad.

Great Tour
Our tour guide was named Joan. She is a native Alaskan born and raised in Anchorage so she was very familiar with the history of the area. She lives off grid and provided lots of information on that lifestyle as well. She took us to several interesting shops where we had time for souvenir shopping. Very happy with our tour!

First time in Alaska
Great introduction to Alaska’s beauty and natural wonders. Perfect for first time visitors or visitors who don’t have a lot of time. Convenient start and finish location. The advertised content matched the actual content. The guide was terrific and provided a comprehensive information.

5 stars so special !
I rarely write reviews, but this experience touched my heart so much that I couldn’t not share it. What an absolutely extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan adventure!
From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by people who were genuinely kind, welcoming, professional, and full of positive energy. Every person we encountered went above and beyond, and it made an already incredible experience feel truly magical.
Ashley was our driver, and we absolutely loved having her with us. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wonderful to spend time with. She made us feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.
Sam was our pilot, and I have to admit, I was nervous! But he was absolutely fantastic. He made the flight feel smooth, safe, and so much fun. I’ll never forget looking out at the breathtaking Alaskan scenery and realizing I was actually experiencing something I had only dreamed about.
And then there was Maddie, our dog sled musher. She was AMAZING! She was so cool, so knowledgeable, and such a perfect match for us. We loved her energy and her personality, and you could truly feel the love she has for what she does. Learning from her and experiencing the dogs up close was something I will carry with me for a very long time.
Honestly, the scenery was breathtaking, the adventure was unforgettable, and the entire experience was incredible—but it was the PEOPLE who made it truly special.
Ashley, Sam, Maddie, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you for putting so much heart into what you do. You gave us memories that we will talk about for years to come. ❤️
If you are considering this excursion, DO IT! You get so much more than you think you’re getting. You get an experience filled with adventure, beauty, kindness, laughter, and people who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable.
Absolutely 5 stars!

An Unforgettable Glacier Adventure
Alaska Helicopter Tours delivered a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. They picked us up right at our Anchorage hotel for the easy hour-long drive to the launch point, and the whole team was friendly and accommodating from start to finish.
The flight out to Knik Glacier was thrilling — breathtaking views and an exceptionally smooth ride. Our pilot, Jake, was professional throughout and made sure we felt well cared for the entire time.
Standing on the glacier itself was humbling. Walking on thousand-year-old ice and taking in the sheer scale of this 25-mile glacier left us in awe, and the crystal-blue meltwater streams were incredible to see up close.
The return flight brought its own magic — we spotted a black bear, three moose in separate waterholes, and two white mountain goats along the way.
This was an experience and a set of memories we'll carry with us for a lifetime.

A great tour by the best guide.
During our week in Anchorage we booked a half dozen tours. Two of them were operated by Fronteer Tours one of which was the Aleyska Tram. Those two tours were both led by Alex and we're by far the best of the six. So much good information and such a pleasant person! Very very highly recommended!

Best Tour Director
Our excursion was a lot of fun Dan with White Raven was awesome, you have heard the saying when you’re delt lemons in life make lemonade. That’s exactly what Dan did made the experience great with the heavy rain we were experiencing we saw lots of bears , a wild moose on the roadside.
He didn’t want us to be disappointed bc of the weather and added a little bonus of stopping at the chocolate shop.

Great trip to the...
Great trip to the glacier! Our driver Patrick was so knowledgeable and gave us great advice. He even helped us set up our cell phone cameras for the best pictures. You get a little over 2 hours to hike around the glacier with a local guide. Our guide Sophie was excellent. This was a great way to fill up a day either pre or post-cruise if you are staying in Anchorage.

Wild & Fun
It was in March and part of my trip experience going to the Iditarod. The pluses were the tour guide gave us a few unscheduled stops (Wild Berry Farm 👍) and had time to drop us off at our hotel. That was very much appreciated. We saw a Dall sheep on the mountain and he stopped and turned around so we could get out of the van for photos. Loved that! You definitely need to be agile and a good walker to see the Wildlife Conservation area in freezing icy, snowy weather. Luckily at 76 years old I could do it. I think the best time to see all the animals (bears, etc which we didn’t) would be in warmer weather. We saw wolves, musk ox, reindeer and moose.

So Fun and Beautiful
This bike tour was incredible ! We went with Cory and Jeremiah and they both were great. Cory was our guide on the trails and was amazing. The timing was perfect because we got to see beautiful yellow leaves, plus multiple moose. Cory ensured we remain at a safe distance from them. There were a few stops along the ride. This is a great tour if you haven't cycled in a long time.
