Our family consisted of 5 members from ages 15 months to 74 years old. We booked a private tour and our guide was Caleb. This adventure was a great experience for our first full day in Alaska. The weather was outstanding. Caleb was full of Alaska information and knowledgeable and eager to answer all our questions. The most appreciated part of the tour was Caleb's flexibility in tweets during the tour and easy going nature. I would highly recommend this adventure.

Excellent day!

Jana_A, Oct 2025
Our tour guide Davis was excellent. My 14 yr old daughter and I were the only ones who booked this experience. Instead of canceling, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We went way up to Hatcher Pass, the views were incredible. The actual Pass was closed for the season, so we did some other exploring on the mountain. After we came back to Anchorage he went out of his way to take us to a spot were we could see Denali in the distance! It was a super clear day, it was excellent. We had a great time thanks to him, I'm so glad he didn't cancel on us.

Jana. Thanks so much for booking our tour and taking the time to share your experience. We are a small family owned company and truly care about each and every guest. We never cancel tours for even 2 guests as we know that booking a tour in Alaska might be a once in a lifetime experience! I'm so glad you all had. great day :) Hope you have fond memories of Alaska! Cheers, James

Gorgeous countryside - don't miss it!

Grace_B, Sep 2025
Our guide said few people take this tour. We are so glad we made time for it. The reindeer farm is interesting, but the real highlight is the views. Most day trips out of Anchorage go around Turnagain Arm. This tour goes north, offering a completely different experience. We saw stunning tundra and mountains instead of rainforest and coastline. Our guide clearly knows and loves the area. This was one of our favorite days. Don't miss the chance to see a beautiful and fascinating part of Alaska.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Grace, Thank you so much for choosing our Hatcher Pass Tour. We agree. We LOVE to share this unique part of Alaska. It's not as popular as going South, but our favorite spot as locals :) So appreciate your taking the time to share your experience. Hope you continue to enjoy your Alaskan experience. Warm Regards, James

Good Alaskan Tour

Charles_E, Aug 2025
Good amount of destinations. Could of been more informative. My wife and I would of like to have been informed a little more about Alaska History, landmarks, culture, weather, including Alaskan Native inhabitants. Food was good, drinks - need variety and a few options.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Charles, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Its not common feedback that we get concerning this tour. Your guide, Brooks, is actually a Native Alaskan and loves to share about his history here. We'll definitely take your feedback to share with our guides to keep improving and making our tour better. Best to you, James

Great day trip.

Really enjoyed this tour. Welcome Anchorage Tours customer service is excellent and were amazing when I had to change my pick up address at the last minute. Elizabeth, our guide, was great and very accommodating. I really enjoyed the reindeer farm and would definitely recommend.

We had Brooks as a guide, he is very knowledgeable about the area and history and he has a very accommodating and engaging personality. The tour itself was very informative and seeing the animals up close was fun!

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Cheryl. Thanks so much for your feedback. So appreciate your choosing our tour. Thanks also for the kind words about Brooks. We'll pass it along! Hope to see you in Alaska again!

Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes. Have sunglasses ready. There are many opportunities for pictures and you will have time to get good views and not be rushed.

Anchorage welcome tour with Caleb

ELLEN_K, May 2025
We had the most amazing time with Caleb as our guide. He was fantastic and made our day. As it turned out, most of the advertised itinerary was not doable. Probably due to the early date of our scheduled tour. However, Caleb more than made up for the changes. He was knowledgeable, energetic and enthusiastic. It turned out to be the best day of our Alaskan cruise shore experience.

Response from Host, May 2025

Ellen. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Yes, Our Hatcher Pass Tour, in particular is a affected by the season and weather. May has still had alot of snow on the mountain. So glad you had a great day! My favorite is the Reindeer Farm and all the animals, but there are so many great things about this tour! Cheers, Jen
