We were lucky to have Scott as our tour guide. I believe that is the main reason we had such a wonderful experience.
Wonderful tour. Saw more wildlife than expected. Several stops along the way to the conservation center. Scott was very knowledgeable, even knew animals names and backstories.
Our guide was entertaining. We loved seeding the wildlife.
We saw more wildlife than we saw in Denali.
Saw more "wild animals" here than on any other excursion. We had Tony as our driver guide. He was very entertaining and instructed us on the various ways you should act when attacked by a bear.
It made it very convenient to be picked up at our hotel and dropped off at a restaurant at the end.
Our tour was done largely in pouring rain, and that undoubtedly colored the experience. Our guide Tucker was great. He was right on time and very informative--and drove safely through the downpour. The Wildlife Conservation Center was a bit disappointing. I was expecting a more open area, but it was much more like a zoo. That said, it has a nice collection of Alaskan wildlife.
Great tour of a wonderful conservation center. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive out from Anchorage. Our guide and driver, Rina, was full of detailed information, excellent driver, and ensured the trip was also fun.
Rina was very engaging and entertained the group with stories about Alaska the whole trip. Her love for Alaska came through and made you interested in history about the State of Alaska. She recommended a dinner place that was excellent. Rina goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy the tour and get everything out of it that you expected.
Great tour. Only 12 people on the bus and we saw many glaciers. The wildlife center is very interesting with lots of animals you may never see in the wild. Scott has tremendous knowledge of Alaska.

Good chance to see the animals of Alaska up close. Almost every land animal is here at this center. Great if you did not see any before.

This was a great half day tour that provided an overview of the natural landscape and Turnagain Arm and just the right amount of time at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Our guide Rina was friendly, knowledgeable, and super flexible for photo stops and logistics. The hotel pickup was a big plus and Rina was very communicative on arrival times to minimize waiting. If you only have a short time in Anchorage, or want to fit in a tour before an evening flight or after a red eye while you’re waiting for your room to be ready, this is perfect.
It was beautiful views and interesting information from tour guide. I highly recommend doing this tour. It's small and worth the time and money. We saw lots of animals.

The trip out to the Wildlife Conservation center was as amazing as our time there! Our guide had lots of great information about the area and took the time to have an incredible experience. Hotel pick up was a huge perk too!
The drive along Seward Highway is beautiful. The conservation area was shabby and looked rundown. I’m not sure how to fix this, but something needs to be done to enhance the experience. We were hoping for a hiking trail and more animals is a more natural environment.

Scenery was outstanding. Were able to see eagles, bears, and other wildlife outside of the animal reserve. Also got to experience the extreme changes in temperature in a short period of time.
The tour starts in Anchorage they will pick you up at the hotel. You will travel down the Seward Hwy to get to the Wildlife center. They make stops on the hwy for photos. They stop throughout the Wildlife center to see the animals. It's Alaska you going to need to wear boots.

Prepare for cold and rain, wear proper shoes for this. Conservation Center was a lot of mud. Amazing views and guide very knowledgeable.
Tour is great. Easy day at the wildlife center and at scenic spots. Also got to see a bit of downtown. when picking up guests. Lori is awesome!
