The tour guide was excellent. He provided lots of interesting information. The day was rainy, but the tour was still excellent. Beautiful scenery, interesting animals, good lunch and a wonderful group of people. I highly recommend this tour.

Great introduction to Alaska. Tim was on time, well prepared for the weather, funny and informative. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Food stop was good and this trip was a fun adventure. Everything was as described or better!

Very thorough explanation of everything we saw and did. Tim was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was obvious he enjoys what he does. This gave us a very good taste of the Alaskan countryside.

We had this tour on a beautiful sunny day, and everything we did with our engaging and knowledgeable guide was great! Besides the beautiful drive, we pulled off the highway to view lakes and mountains and glaciers! Also visited the Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center which was so interesting. We can’t say enough about this excursion …what a great value! And lunch at the Girdwood Brewery was delicious !

What a Fun way to explore the surrounding countryside of Anchorage!!! Tim was a really fun and knowledgeable tour guide and never rushed the moment!! We stopped at the Animal Wildlife Center and I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did!!! It’s a great place where orphaned animals can have a safe space. Tim knew all about the backstory of all the animals which made it so fun!!!
Then we went to other beautiful places with opportunities for iconic Alaska pictures that I could share with all my family and friends back home!!!
We had a great lunch at this fun funky place where the crepes were delicious!!! All in All….. it was a Wonderful day and Tim was a Great Host!!!!!! Highly recommend and I hope I can come back someday!!!!!

Tim gave us a great tour with lots of scenic stops. You can tell he really loves his work as a tour guide. We made more stops than advertised, and the views were really nice!

This tour was absolutely fantastic! The guide was incredibly humorous and shared fascinating stories and insights about the beautiful Anchorage scenery.
The sandwich he took us to try was a delightful surprise, super tasty and a great addition to the trip. We also had the chance to see lots of wildlife at the reserve, which was truly a highlight of the day.

Picked up at our hotel right on time with Tim our local driver December was a nice time to visit not so busy so just 4 of us in the minibus. We started at 8:45 still dark but the drive as it was getting light was still great. The scenery is spectacular and Tim had lots of local knowledge and stopped at some pretty stops for photos. The wildlife Conservation Centre was nice to see the bison, muskox in particular were very close for photos.
Stunning views of the mountains along the way, the tide was out on the mud flats going but in when we travelled back.
The stop for a late lunch in Girdwood was the best sandwich we have ever eaten, worth the longer trip just for this spot.
On the way back we stopped at Beluga Point at sunset and the colours with the clear sky & sun against the mountains was absolutely gorgeous.
To note you need warmer clothes as it’s a lot colder than in Anchorage but well worth the longer trip of 6-7 hrs.

Unfortunately, the tour operator did not show up at the expected time. I looked up his number & called him, but he said he had cancelled all November tours. He profusely apologized & submitted a refund.
I’m not sure whether to blame Viator or the tour operator.
Fortunately, we were able to get another tour operator on short notice, however, it cost almost twice as much.
I wanted to complain to Viator directly, but was unable to do so on their website.

I apologize, I thought I had canceled tours for the remainder of the winter. I don't know how viator had allowed the tour to be processed. I am reviewing the rest of the winter to ensure no one else has had this happen to them.

Very knowledgeable tour guide. Had fun day exploring Alaska. Refugee wildlife center was a hit. Small group works well. Got a lot more time sightseeing since we were off season.

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was very interesting, the scenery was exceptional, and the guide was very knowledgeable. In addition, the guid e was very personable and communicated with us very well before and during the tour. He picked us up at our hotel in Anchorage. The guide never seemed to be in a rush but gave us the full experience. Heartily recommend!

We had a great trip to Turnagain Arm. Our driver, Tim was very knowledgeable and we had a great day.
We had a nice lunch and the drinks and snacks on the bus were appreciated.
