Guide Alex was very knowledgeable and informative. We were amazed about how much she knew given her limited time living in alaska. She kept the group moving and on time. We were a bit surprised most of the tour seemed to be outside the city limits but appreciated all the stops we made.
David was a great tour guide, he was very knowledgeable of the history of Anchorage. He also told us the history of the different types of Alaskan people. He answered all our questions without hesitation. We learned so much about Anchorage that I can't list it all here. I would recommend 5 stars to Frontier tours.
Dave, our tour guide and driver was amazing. He was very prompt..arrived well before our appointed time. He proceeded to share with us his vast knowledge and love of the great city of Anchorage. His friendly manner and personality added to our enjoyment of the tour. We were brought to 4 interesting sites and were allowed to disembark while Dave explained the significance of the area. We especially enjoyed the magnificent views we had from Flattop Mountain, which allowed us to take some beautiful pictures.
Dave is an amazing tour guide and I would highly recommend him and Viator for anyone who would love to learn more about Anchorage and its beauty.

We had Alex as our tour guide. She has survived three winters in Anchorage and she is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. First stop was Earthquake Park, watch out for the mosquitos, second largest earthquake in the world happened here in 1964. Then to Lake Hood Harbour to watch the busiest take off and landing of float planes in the world … sadly, we didn’t see either that day. Then to the Flattop Mountain to view the scenery and finally visited Grandma Olga statue.
Alex also pointed out some of the eateries and sights in downtown Anchorage before she dropped us off.
David is an exceptional tour operator. We had 4 very interesting, unrushed stops all outside of downtown Anchorage. This tour is a must-do.
I don’t think this tour was very worthwhile. The guide was pleasant and somewhat informative, but to me it seemed like a waste of time.
This was a great tour! Our tour guide was amazing. She was so knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Alaska (past and present). Enjoyed all the stops and saw a black bear during our travels! I highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time visiting Anchorage.
David was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about Anchorage history. Comfortable transport and reasonably priced.

My wife and I went on this tour and really didn't get too excited about it. We went to a few sights that were okay, nothing special, kind of underwhelming. The folks that gave the tours were very knowledgeable so it wasn't their fault. It just didn't overly impress. We were on a taxi later on and it felt like the driver gave us insight into more interesting sights than we saw on the tour. We would pass on this the next time around.
David is very knowledgeable about Alaska and nature. Earthquake Park! Lake Hood where the bi-planes take off and the summer camp for the indigenous please. This is not a downtown city tour.
Alex was knowledgeable, personable and made us feel comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. Nice to see people passionate about their job and it was obvious she understood and appreciated the people of Alaska

You generally do not get off the trolley, it is a drive by. However, Prince, the driver, shared a lot about Anchorage along the way. Very informative.

Really great tour for a very informative, interesting, and enjoyable introduction to Anchorage. Comfortable van, I was seated in the very middle, in a middle seat, and I could see everything anyone else could see. Our guide David was outstanding. So friendly, so knowledgeable, so interesting, and some perfect site visits. Even if we had visited the same sites on our own, it wouldn't have been nearly as meaningful as it was with David's background and insights about everything. One site, I am sure we would never have even found without him, even with GPS. There was nothing bored, or boring, or memorized and rehearsed monotone delivery about this; everything David told us was alive and in the moment, and you knew it came from a deep well of familiarity with and love for Alaska and Anchorage; I know he could have kept talking so much more, and it would have all been super interesting. He kept us engaged and fascinated the entire 2 1/2 hours. I loved the small group, max of 12; so much more personal. I would do this tour again.
This is a wonderful tour to get to know the city and the whole area/history. Nice little strolls and a lot of info about the nature and people.
You get to know the topology and important sights of anchorage. Alex was very good and took good care of us
