The original time was cancelled due to an “event” at the Capitol. We got nothing official to let us know it was cancelled. We did get a text from an unknown number and with poor grammar and we thought it was Phishing text. We were able to come back after the event and re book our tour. We were told this by the friendly guards at the visitor center, when we showed up at 8:00 in the morning

We were greeted by our guide who was knowable and very enthusiastic about US history, US Capitol and the Library of Congress. He was succinct and direct in his instructions. We quickly reached our destination, but along the way he was inspiring trek with many tidbits of knowledge. He adeptly help to us through the strict guidelines and rigors into the Us Capitol. His knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious as we worked our way through the Capitol rotunda and crypt area. As we finished our Capitol tour he directs us to the library of Congress and the his recommendations of points of highlights. Overall, the guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. However, the trip is hurried and rushed somewhat akin to being herded like cattle. Too bad our congressmen do not work with the same amount of enthusiasm and care for his group as our guide!

Informative and very helpful. but the group was too large. Inside Capitol tour, led by Capitol guides, felt very rushed and even larger. Time ran out (this was 2 pm tour) and guide did not take us into Library of Congress although providing good tips for brief time there. Did not get close to Grant equestrian statue nor a few others, in part due to late start (after 2pm). Guide was very pleasant and answered questions.

Started off great. Duane was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. When then waited in line for 50 minutes. He handed us off to the Capital Guide, to join the crowd. Never saw either Senate or House Chamber. Toured Library of Congress on our own. Very disappointed

Review the list of items the are prohibited from entry into the Capital. There are strick security vetting upon entry. But don’t let these deter you, the tour was just wonderful. Do be prepared for a lot of walking. Dwayne was the best tour guide you could ask for. We would love to spend a whole day with him. To say that he is knowledgeable about Washington DC is an under statement. He was awesome.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. However, he only stayed part way through our tour because he went to get another group. We were given a ticket to also see Library of Congress as a group after the Capitol tour. When we got to the tunnel to head to the library of Congress, we discovered it was closed, and that the ticket we were given was for two days prior to the date we were on. I called because it felt like a scam, and was told they would give me a ticket for tomorrow instead. But there are no tickets for tomorrow. Save your money and book your own ticket.

Do not use this service. Tour guide did not meet us, and the company did not give us our money back. I am an Active Duty Colonel in US Army who brought his family to DC to show the American experience. This company left a lasting impression of flamboyant disrespect and thievery. I am truly embarrassed we allow this behavior against our US servicemen and servicewomen. I hope the $237 they stole from my me is worth it. Disgraceful.

No guided tour at all. Nobody waiting for us and the Capitol was closed (the supposed guided visited included a visit within the Capitol)

Can’t say enough about Tyrone. He was upbeat, knowledgeable and good at keeping the group together. Best of all we arrived just as tour was starting due to an Uber driver with navigational problems and were dropped at wrong spot. Before I could call your office Tyrone called my cell, located us and tour started as scheduled. Great experience.

Highly recommend this tour and Dwayne was AMAZING! We didn’t have a lot of time to plan our Washington DC trip and all of the timed-entry tickets were sold out. We were able to reserve this tour less than a week before our visit. Definitely a must do. Loved seeing the Capitol and the Library of Congress!

All tours inside the Capitol approx 45 minutes are led by their own guides and preceded by a 15 min film, while the guide you have paid for just waits. Be aware that timed tours within the Capitol can be booked online and are free of all charges. Free self guided tours of the Library of Congress can also be booked online. In short, consider the above carefully before spending $85.
