We had such a good time on this food tour. Tim picked restaurants to match the history lessons and I’m so glad to have tried these foods that I normally wouldn’t have picked for myself. All the food and drinks were amazing and we learned so much about the culture and history of D.C. Tim is very considerate and plans everything down to the hand wipes. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the D.C. area.

It was a great experience for our first walking food tour. I didn’t know what to expect and thought it was going to be a march from one restaurant to another, which would have been OK. Our guide, Tim, gave us so more much than what we expected. He has a profound love and knowledge for DC and the communities that make up the fabric and history of DC. The night experiencing the food and drinks and neighborhoods is something that will stick with us for a long time. I can recommend Tim’s tour without any reservation.

Fantastic walk through DC history with fabulous food

Not your ordinary food tour!! I have done many food tours in Europe and the US and this tour is the best. Not only do you get food from diverse neighborhoods, and a lot of it, but you get an interesting tour of the DC neighborhoods that go beyond the traditional Mall Monuments. Our guide made us all want to move to DC. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it does not disappoint, and dont eat before you go!

Tim is great! Makes you comfortable and you feel like friends by the end of the tour. Amazing food and drinks mixed with stories that make history accessible and personal. Got to experience the real DC in all its color and beauty and tastiness. Loved everything about it! If you are tired of looking at monuments and want to see the best of the people and neighborhoods this this is the tour for you.
