Tried some really lovely food with great historical insights from Robert, our guide. Learned a lot about some of the more off-beat events of the past. It was a really hot day, but Robert did his best to keep us in the shade. I like the fact that there was the option to purchase cocktails at a couple of the locations. Centring around he East Market was also a great way to see how the locals eat and shop. The people on the tour were also lovely.

Christian was very knowlegable and personable. It was like going on a walk with a friend. The restaurant choices were great!!! If I could have eaten more I would have!!!

Christian led the tour, he had insightful tidbits that he shared. I wish he had pushed us to stick together more though as when speaking you couldn't always hear what he was saying.
Food was just ok to me. Not a fan of it being served family style with a bunch of strangers all touching the food. And 2 places were Hispanic (Mexican). Would have liked better options of diversity.
Joined this tour for the Salvadorian option and they served Quesadillas. That's not even real. Serve Pupusas next time.
Enjoyed speaking to the people of the group more than the tour honestly.

So much fun walking around and seeing this re-vitalized area of DC. Enjoyed everything from the sparkling sangria to the home made pop-tarts.

My boyfriend and I took this tour while visiting my brother and sister-in-law who live in DC. The four of us were excited for it. While the food we ate was good, we ultimately all agreed that the tour was too long with not enough food for the price. I think the tour could have been 2.5 hours long and at least $25 cheaper (with the same food stops), and it would have been a better experience.

Tour guide Jennifer was VERY knowledgeable! Food served at tapas restaurant really tasty. Pop tarts were fun. Last stop at Central American restaurant not up to the Jennifer’s description; disappointed.

The food was good but not great. The tour guide was timely, informative, and helpful. It was good to see some of the neighborhoods and businesses in the downtown area.

The food was good and our guide Robert was very knowledgeable about the DC area! I want to do the Alexandria tour with Robert. A gal in our group had Robert for that tour in August and loved it!

My wife bought me the tour for my 50th birthday and there were 8 of us (4 couples) that went together. I wasn't sure how my guy friends would like it, but they each reported different aspects that they truly enjoyed. It was a great time with friends. Our tour guide, Paige, was very knowledgeable of the area and of the history of Capitol Hill. I learned a lot. The neighborhood was very interesting from an architectural standpoint and the diversity of food offerings was amazing. My favorite food of the whole tour was at the Tapas restaurant; we had this unbelievably tender pork shoulder. My favorite restaurant of the day was the Salvadoran restaurant; plaintains, fried yucca, tender steak, all amazing. At each restaurant there was plenty of food. I think if there was one wish I had to make the tour better was to have more interaction with our restaurant hosts. I would love to have heard more of their stories and to tell us more about the food itself. Another highlight which wasn't on the tour but was very easy to access was Eastern Market. Such a cool setup with a combination of indoor and outdoor food, art, musicians, etc. I definitely enjoyed being able to see a part of DC that I didn't know well. Overall a great day!
