Driver (Jeanine) was a no show, no communication either. We waited in pickup area 45min. This was one of the few wheelchair accessible excursions available which makes it even more disappointing.

Laura, Our guide, was informative and made this trip so enjoyable! We only had 6 adults so the small size was very comfortable in the van.

A Nice Afternoon BUT What Happened to the Promised Food & Water?

We loved our guide, Andre! Sweet, sweet young man - he was a highlight. And this tour, in general, was a good way to spend part of a relatively long port of call at Skagway. Would have liked more "off the main highway" stops, maybe less time at the Carcross destination. But the main problem with our experience was the massive screw-up on the (broken) promised lunch & water included. We were a van full of vegetarians - all ordered a special lunch as the website directed. My friend was the only meat eater so she had 10 lunches to pick from. But no water for anyone. Luckily, my friend & I brought our own but the other poor family not allowed to take water from their ship so had none. No lunch or water is acceptable (can plan for that) but not if its promised & then not delivered en route.

Yukon (custom) extended tour

There were plenty of nice views, but not alot of stops. Very little was discussed before stopping or not stopping at points of interest. Thankfully we saw a bear to make up for a lack luster trip. The guide was good, had they not been this could have been a real snoozefest. Carcross town was mostly closed making it a sad point of interest. The dessert itself was cool.

Bad communication

Bad communication: I had to contact them the day before to agree on pickup at the cruise dock and on time. I arrived 15 min before time, no sign (other than the tours of the cruise). I waited 30 minutes then left a message to remind for pickup. An Alaska mountain guides van showed up 30 minutes before but said they were not about that tour. They contacted the agency and they said my tour left, tried to contact me but didn't find me.... They said they will issue a refund. The point is it was too late to book a new tour so the afternoon at Skagway was wasted. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The lack of communication makes them unreliable. Let's hope you'll be picked up if you book them.

A tremendous experience for my 7 member family group. Joe our host and driver was very energetic, informative, insightful and accommodating throughout the trip. He took extra steps (and a little extra time) to make sure we had a memorable experience.
