Overview

James, our guide, was amazing. The tour was very informative and James made it fun. Emily, our musher, was great. She even took our phone and got some nose bops of the dogs. The educational part of the tour was fun especially seeing the dogs at different stages. And of course, can't forget the puppies! We got to handle them and they were so cute!! Would recommend this tour for all ages.

Not just an excursion, the driver also told us all about Skagway on the way to mushers csmp, pointing out the wildlife on the way and stopping for photos. Worth every penny. Great experience
Most of the tour is spent getting up the mountain. This is actually the most interesting part since the landscape is beautiful. However, there is minimal actual experience with the huskies or education about mushing.
Our guide, Patrick, did an excellent job in giving us valuable information and his knowledge of the Alaskan Huskies was fantastic; and he loved the dogs and provided jokes and stories which left us laughing.

The location was awesome going through the moss covered forest to get to the dogs. The driver talked about some points of interest and history of the town. Seeing the dogs and having the musher introduce each of them was a nice touch. It was a great experience being led by the dogs around the course. You can definitely tell they love what they do. Seeing a retired dog and hearing about the Iditarod was great information. The icing on the cake was getting to hold one of the puppies at the end.
This is an amazing experience. I would recommend it to anyone. Getting to ride behind a dog team and see how they work together is really eye opening. This is one excursion I would book again when we come back.
Enjoy our time with all the dogs. The ride was awesome. It was cool seeing the summer dog camp. Inspired us to watch the Iditarod. The puppies were really cute and we enjoyed the retired dogs.
We had a fantastic experience at Musher dog Camp! Everything was extremely well organised from start to finish, and it was clear how much care and attention the dogs receive.
The dogs all looked happy, well cared for and thoroughly loved, which was so lovely to see. The whole experience was brilliant and exceeded our expectations.

I was so excited to go see the dogs. It did not disappoint. The sled ride was fantastic and musher Alex was so informative. Holding the puppies was the cherry on top. If I come back to Alaska I will definitely come back here.
Amazing! The people and the dogs were all so much fun! The ride was informative and then the sled dog ride was extremely entertaining.
We loved the interaction with the dogs. The knowledge about the dogs and the Iditarod I really enjoyed learning about. The ride up the mountain was pretty cool too. Everyone friendly.
It's an awesome experience! Paul, our guide, offered a wonderful historical background on our way to the camp, and the camp staff was ultra professional and caring. You will not want to miss this opportunity!
The guides were amazing. Alex our Musher had great information to share. Sage our driver also great information. The dogs were gorgeous and wonderful to interact with. The actual “sled” experience was nothing special. Nevertheless, we learned so much and still highly recommend it

Amazing time! We met right in front of the boat at 2nd ave, and there are only 7 avenues to downtown so it really isn’t far to walk. Our guide was nice and funny. It was a comfortable van with 24 people total, drove about 30 minutes through beautiful scenery up to the “mushers camp” and our guide Patrick gave us some history and “dad jokes” about Skagway on the way up. In camp we boarded an open air truck with the giant tires to off road up to the dogs, my son loved the ride up. We rode the wheeled sled with 16 dogs, paused and got photos, got to pet all the dogs and meet them at the end. Rode the mog back down the hill to the camp where they gave a talk about the sled dogs and mushing, and we got to socialize with the puppies. Spent a few minutes in the shop getting coffee and souvenirs then 30 mins back to Skagway with more storytelling and jokes. My kids are 8 and 10 and we all loved it, including their grandparents who came along. Highly recommend!
One of the most fantastic experiences ever. Just love how they look after their dogs, including their Retirement.
If you love dogs you will love this. The scenic views and our excellent guide made the trip spectacular. Petting the sled dogs and cuddling with their babies was one of a kind.
Very staged. Dogs run a closed loop 3-4 times. Overall time with dogs/on dog sled is short (maybe 20 minutes) More time is spent getting up to the camp/sledding area. There are some stops at very picturesque spots and you do get to ride in a big giant ATV type monster truck vehicle which was fun.
Easy, seamless, and so much fun! The pickup at the visitor center was right on time, and the instructions throughout the day were crystal clear. Every activity was incredibly well-planned, but meeting the husky puppies was the highlight of the entire tour. We had an absolute blast!
A last min addition to our trip, ended up being one of my wife's all-time favorite excursions and we've been to Alaska 7 times...
This was a wonderful experience that made our Alaska trip truly memorable. So much fun and so sweet that we got to meet and hold all the dogs, especially the puppies!
This was a very well organized experience. The scenery was beautiful, the dogs were amazing, the staff were friendly and our guide Paul was very knowledgeable. This was a bucket list experience for me and it did not disappoint.

We had a great experience with our tour guide Houston. We loved riding on the “sled” and meeting the dogs and puppies. The drive up was gorgeous as well and we even saw a bear on the side of the road. My only note is that I wished the ride on the sled was longer. It felt like we were only on there for about five minutes
It’s a VERY short ride for the money. Basically a large golf cart ride. Fun and interesting watching and meeting the dogs and pups. Might be worth extra money to do on a glacier
Great fun for the whole family. From our tour guide, to the unimog ride, to the sled ride and finally meeting the dogs and pups. Highly recommend if you are in Skagway. Great company to work with!
This is a fun excursion for both adults and kids! I would highly recommend. The drive up to the musherscamp is beautiful, the sled ride is fun and getting to PET the dogs is great.
