Absolutely amazing!! As first time cruisers we were a little nervous to snag a tour that wasn’t booked through the cruise. A million percent recommend. Noah was the most honest and funny guide we’ve had. He was very informative and gave us insight we knew other tours wouldn’t give us. Instructions were crystal clear and the stops and stories were perfect. Highly recommend. Worth the price and the time!

Excellent tour with beautiful views and cute pups. Note that this tour starts with a long ride, but you won’t mind it because it’s full of stunning scenery all narrated by a talented and charismatic guy named Noah! The sled dog camp is very interesting and seeing and “petting” dogs that love to work is a joy. Definitely worth the time and money!

Absolutely Unforgettable Experience - a must do!

Anonymous, Sep 2025
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This sled dog excursion was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! The scenery alone is worth the trip, but what made it unforgettable was our guide, Noah. He had the whole group laughing the entire time with his sharp sense of humor, and at the same time, he really knew how to keep everyone’s attention and make the experience feel personal. Meeting the dogs was incredible, and the way Noah explained everything made it even more special. You could tell he genuinely cared about the dogs and about making sure we all had a great time. If you’re stopping in Skagway on a cruise, I can’t recommend this excursion enough. It was fun, beautiful, and something I’ll never forget🤩

Nice adventure

The driver ( Florida guy from Clearwater Connor) was the best part of the trip, he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The Dogsled was ok maybe because we were on a 4x4 instead of on the sled itself but at least we got the idea of everything the Musher and the dogs do.

Absolutely Worth It!

Excellent experience! Was worried about the long bus ride with my 1.5 year old but plenty of stops along the way made it fun for him and of course the dog sled experience and puppies were a huge hit for him and the whole family.

Puppies galore

Drake did a great job, his experience in other parts of the tourist energy allowed him to share more information about the things we were passing by. He was kind enough to take pictures, which is important when you’re traveling as a couple selfie don’t always work. The dog camp was fantastic and the puppies were adorable. The scenery through Canada was breathtaking.

It was ok. The scenery was beautiful, and the puppies were cute. I felt sad for the dogs and our guide was below average.

A wonderful experience

Our Driver Noah was fun and knowledgeable as he drove us up into the beautiful mountains. The scenery was fantastic The Musher camp was so much fun. We petted the puppies and took a sled ride through the tracks and again took in all the beautiful scenery.

Enjoyed traveling to the Yukon and visiting the kennel. Got some good quality time with the dogs and enjoyed our ride. Noah was fun, entertaining and informative. We made a number of additional stops and Noah was very helpful in capturing photos for all of us. I think all on our tour had a good time.

This was hands down the best tour I have ever done on a trip. Noah our tour guide was awesome and so informative and entertaining. The bus ride was enjoyable being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery. It seemed like we got all of the same views as the train ride, but with the added bonus of playing with puppies and riding on a dog pulled cart. We got to have plenty of puppy time and the cart ride was so fun. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Come hang with the sled dogs (and their pups)!

Tom_S, Aug 2025
The dogs and dog sledding were great but honestly our guide Noah made it that much more interesting. The bus ride was beautiful both ways, but it kept it interesting and entertaining!

Noah was a blast

Awesome time, everyone was so nice and the dogs are great. One of the highlights of our Alaska trip.

Highlight of Trip to Alaska

ANNE_M, Aug 2025
This tour through Skagway Tours was the highlight of our trip. Our driver, Noah, was FANTASTIC! Cannot say enough positive things about him and the itineray. A similar alternative to this trip is taking the train, but with Noah we had 1) Personalized commentary from him who has lived in Alaska for 7 years, 2) Comfortable bus, 3) A chance to get out at multiple stops to take some incredible pictures, and 4) chance to see husky puppies and also take a ride (pulled by huskies) around the property. Highest of recommendations.

Skagway Summit and Dog Sled Adventure!

Sue_D, Aug 2025
This tour was fabulous! Our guide Noah was knowledgable, accommodating and entertaining during the drive out and back from the dog sled camp. The tour included multiple scenic spots, great photo opportunities ant the summit and the dog sled camp was wonderful. The puppies were so cute and our musher was the famous Iditarod winner Michele williams. This was the highlight of my entire off cruise ship experience. You felt like you were really in Alaska instead of spending time in the crowded port. Well worth it if you are in Skagway!

What a great tour!! Knowledgeable guide and fantastic experience.

Julia_G, Aug 2025
Our guide was incredible! He took the time to really show us beautiful scenes on our way to the dog camp. Will was the best! The dogs were so fun to play with and we could see how happy they were to run and excercise.

The best!

JessicaWalker, Aug 2025
We had the beer tour guide I’ve ever had in my life, Noah. Hilarious and so much knowledge. We not only got to see sled dog puppies and do the sled dogs, but we got to stop at a ton of nice view stops. Highly recommend, and hopefully you get Noah as well!

So “Mush” Fun!!

Due to our fault we were late but the staff went above and beyond to pick us up and join the group. The scenery was unbelievable and we appreciated the stops for photos. The dog mushing experience was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the presentation about the musher Michelle Phillips. Overall, great!

Worth the Money

camille_m, Aug 2025
One of the best tours I have been on in regards to cruise excursions. Great tour guide (Noah), and just an overall great experience for the whole family. Worth the money and one of the best/easiest ways to explore Alaska!!

Enjoyable and beautiful.

Janie_F, Aug 2025
Very good. Good guide. Dogs were excited. Lots of stops along the way for pictures. Would recommend.

Wonderful Tour

Casey_T, Jul 2025
We loved our Yukon Dog Sled excursion! Noah, our guide, was amazing and we loved every minute! Definitely worth the time

Noah has the best stories!

Courtney_D, Jul 2025
Noah our tour guide was amazing, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable! On the drive to and from the dog camp, we made scenic stops for lots of pictures. This experience was a 10/10!

Great experience for all ages!

Rebecca_R, Jul 2025
Noah was a great guide. He is super knowledgeable about the area and he clearly loves what he does. It was so awesome to visit the Tutshi Dog Sled camp of Michelle Phillips (an Iditarod winner!). The dogs were honestly pretty fascinating. The pups were adorable and hilarious with their antics. The dog sled experience was great- these dogs love to work! Definitely recommend standing in the back of the vehicle to get a more exhilarating ride. The stops we made on the way back to Skagway were absolutely breathtaking. Tutshi Lake is stunning! I wish we had more time to just take in the beauty but thrilled we even got to stop.

Very fun experience w/ beautiful vista points

Tracy_F, Jul 2025
Our guide Hawkins was great. Pick up from Skagway tours was seamless. Texts were sent about meeting location a day before (due to docking schedule) with a video. All the vista points we stopped at were great. The dog mushing was really cool! So interesting to see and overall a cool experience. There were several puppies to play with and hold. They sell treats for 25 cents! The information session was interesting too! It’s a little dusty so would wear tennis shoes.
