PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL TOURS LEAVING SKAGWAY. Thank you for joining Klondike Tours for your adventure in Skagway, Alaska! Skagway has multiple docks in operation. We will pick up guests at the docks in our tour busses. Please look for the bus marked Klondike Tours, or our representative who will have a sign saying the same at each dock. Please remember your Passports!

A nice drive with lots of information along the way. We stopped at a few great spots for pictures - overlooking Skagway, Pitchfork Falls, Dead Horse Gulch, Tormented Valley, the Welcome to Alaska sign, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Gold Rush Cemetery all while learning about them along the way. CJ was friendly and fun. Plenty of time after for shopping too.

We were picked up just off the gangway from the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas. Our driver, Ty, was waiting there with a Klondike Tours sign and showed us to our bus. We chose to book with Viator vs. the cruise ship and we are happy with that decision. The Klondike bus was smaller and this is a big benefit. For each stop along the tour it was faster to get everybody off the bus and Ty's narration felt more personal with our group size. We stopped at a beautiful overlook that could see the entire town, then viewed waterfalls, hydroelectric pipelines, the "Welcome to Alaska" sign, a beautiful high altitude area where we could stretch our legs, and finally an old cemetery and one more very large waterfall before being dropped off either in town or back at the ship. The driver, Ty, was certainly a highlight of the trip, giving us plenty of information about Skagway and what it's like to be a part time local there.

Nice small group travel. Ty was great, although at times he spoke too quickly and was hard to understand.
We think this was superior to the train; we took the same route, but got off several times to view the gold miners cemetery and waterfalls. And at a fraction of the cost.

Comfortable bus tour with scenic stops and narration of the surrounding area and history. We stopped several times, two stops included waterfalls, and one stop we had 30 minutes for a quick hike to Reid's Falls and visit to the coal miners cemetery. Kayla our tour guide was very informative, kind and helpful.

Weather plays a big part in whether this is actually a sight seeing trip or not. Requiring to book several days in advance is not fair to everyone who is spending money on this tour. We mostly got to see fog. The weather actually turned out worse than the previous day's forecast was.

The guides were great, very personable but the tour isn't worth it in my opinion. You stop at a few spots for pictures but it really is just a drive up the road, scenery is nice but not stunning. The cemetery is interesting but can be walked from the town, and our guide didnt give us any information on the background to the boom town or notorious Soapy Smith as per the itinerary. The visitor information centre in the town is great, it has a short video and information boards that tells you much more about the gold rush than the tour- and it's free ! If you want to learn about the town and it's connection to the gold rush I'd go to the visitor information centre and then walk around the streets one back from the main road to see the old/ original buildings

Our guide was Ty. Very knowledgeable of the area and safe driver. Crossing into Canada was really neat, I’m from Alberta. Easy walk up to Reid Falls that was amazing. Highly recommend this tour from Skagway.

I loved the white pass bus tour. The reason we chose this was because the bus stops at all the scenic views. We got out of the bus and was able to get some great photos. We also went into Canada. Our driver stopped at the Welcome to Alaska sign and took everyone's picture. Also got to stop at the cemetery and hike up to Reid Falls, which was quite beautiful. We were up close and personal to many falls on the tour. Kayla was an amazing tour guide!

Perfect way to see Skagway. Our guide Chris was great, kept the group entertained and had good knowledge of the area. The timeframe for the tour was just right and there were plenty of stops on the way to take photos. Would recommend for sure.
