Mikey was our tour guide, he was very informative and knowledgeable. He definitely loves being a tour guide. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
This was an excellent tour. Mike was our tour guide and he was informative, entertaining, very knowledgeable of what he was showing us and made the whole tour an unrushed enjoyable experience.

What a great review. This was one of our last tours of the season. It goes to show the professionalism our our RGA guides, that they keep giving great tours right to their last tour. Mikey will head back to Utah for the winter and we hope that he chooses to return to Skagway or Haines next summer for another season with Rainbow Glacier Adventures.
Our driver/ guide, Nicole, was pleasant, informative and gave us a great trip to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. She used her knowledge to avoid heavy crowds which always make an experience more enjoyable. Lovely sites and a good tour - especially for our second visit to Skagway

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with Gil. He was polite, informative, and patient. The stop at the suspension bridge was fun. It was a sunny, clear day, and we were able to enjoy the scenery at the bridge and several other stops. We never felt rushed. We took this excursion as an alternative to the train ride, and we don’t regret the choice.

What a great experience. There were 9 in our group. The guide was well informed and very nice! My family loved the bridge! The whole place was so clean and my boys loved the bison chili.
I highly recommend this if you want to do something different.

Amazing views with stops for photos and just admiring the stunning scenery. The suspension bridge felt very secure and offered more stunning views.

So great to read this review. It is true that our Suspension Bridge tour involves more than the Suspension Bridge. Our guides the best viewpoints and our smaller vehicles can sneak into spots where the big buses never venture.
Had a great time. Guide was very experienced and helpful.

Thanks for this five-star review. It is true that there is plenty to see in the time availalbe. Three hours goes by pretty quickly but that also leaves time for either another tour or a chance to explore Skagway's historic district on your own. Our guides offer a free drop-off at the historic district which saves having to catch the shuttle from the ship of walk back into town after the tour.
We loved the scenery so much. The drive up to the bridge was so beautiful. Our tour guide, Nicole made it special sharing amazing facts and tidbits of information.
Really enjoyed our experience on this adventure!

Yes the scenery between Skagway and the Yukon Suspension Bridge is amazing. And having a great guide like Nicole makes it that much better.
Mike was an amazing tour guide. The van ride was filled with amazing views and he stopped at various spots. This tour was so much better than others who rode the train. The suspension bridge was amazing with plenty of historical places of interest and viewing spots. The little gift shop and bar were a treasure to spend a little time in.

Sounds like you enjoyed the pace of the tour and that is important.
There's no train. You travel in the comfort of Transit Van. No crowds, no train soot, a much more relaxed experience. Our first visit to Skagway we weren't impressed with the available tours and didn't book anything. That night at dinner our table mates spoke of the views from the suspension bridge. When another opportunity to visit Skagway came up we made a point to schedule a tour. A prior antique train tour left me ill so a shuttle made more sense. There were less than 10 people making it almost a custom tour. Great personal narration from Gil. Short 3 hour tour starting at 8:30am leaving ample time to roam the quaint city of Skagway.

Suspension bridge is secure. Walk on either side was lovely with wildflowers blooming in July. Visitor’s center was informative. Seemed like enough time but would have liked something else to see on trip. Nut bar was appreciated.

Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what more you would have liked to see. The scenery coming and going to/from the bridge fantastic and we always make a few select photo stops. There are other companies that offer longer tours that include the Suspension Bridge and continue on to Carcross, Yukon. But most of those are big bus tours and we try to avoid that type of experience.
Was an amazing tour driving through the great landscapes and scenery through the mountains. Our guide Nicole was very informative and stopped at different scenic spots to help our group of 10 take tons of pictures. Definitely worth it.

Yes we keep our groups small and that is the best way to see the country.
Our driver Pat was great. We were picked up at the NCL Pier in his very nice van. We had a beautiful drive up to the Yukon suspension bridge. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with just the right amount of information. The scenery was stunning. The bridge across the river was fantastic. We had the right amount of time to walk around, take photos and enjoy. It was a morning tour so we had plenty of time to have lunch on the ship and then walk to the very charming town. 4Th of July celebrations were going on . A fantastic day!

Our guide JP was great. He was very knowledge and outgoing and made our trip great with spectacular photos! We enjoyed the suspension bridge and the couple of photo stops we made. This listing states you spend 45 minutes at Bernard Lake, which is not true.

Thanks for pointing this out about Bernard Lake. Bernard Lake is the large lake up on the White Pass Summit that you passed going to and coming from the Yukon Suspension Bridge. So you do spend about 45 minutes driving and stopping along that section of the Klondike Highway. We used to call this section of the tour the "White Pass Summit" but too many people thought this tour included the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. Which we do not. We do not include the Railroad! So we deleted any mention of "White Pass"and called it "Bernard Lake."
Once you get close to the bridge, the views are gorgeous. Do not be discouraged by the fog on the way up, it will be all worth it once you get there!
We had an awesome time, and our guide was very knowledgeable.

Thanks for this review. Its true that this area is beautiful even in the fog, and it is also true that the fog often dissipates asyou approach the Suspension Bridge.
Gil, our tour guide and van driver, was incredibly informative, knowledgeable and accommodating. He made sure we didn’t miss any of the important scenic spots along the way from the Skagway port to the Suspension Bridge in Yukon, giving us plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos. We have traveled extensively and joined hundreds of tours over the years and Gil is one of the best, if not the very best tour guide we’ve ever had. His professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail made this trip truly enjoyable and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

This tour was absolutely fantastic. The scenery was breathtaking, and our tour guide, Mikey, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. If you are trying to decide between this and other Skagway excursions, this is the way to go.

Thanks for recommending us. I agree with you, you can't go wrong if you book with Rainbow Glacier Adventures. But since we only run small-group tours, we often sell out well in advance.
It is a beautiful drive up. Landscape changes significantly as you leave town, getting more mountainous and beautiful as you go. I was very impressed with Scagway scenery overall.
The bridge is a little scary, but not bad. Once you've gone, you can say you were in Canada.
Joe was our guide, and he was great. Funny, and full of answers to our many questions.

Yes it is true that you climb from the coast environment up to the full alpine in only few miles once you leave Skagway. When you start the tour, the mountains rise above you and then, later in the tour, you are traveling along a high plateau surrounded by mountains and glaciers. And, once you get to the bridge, you have a chance to look down upon the boiling chasm of the Tushi Gorge. That is a lot of variety in just three hours!
Very interesting and diverse landscapes. Our guide Joe was informative and entertaining…highly recommend! The bridge had scenic views.. I would do this excursion again.

Beautiful scenery. Unlike the train, this tour stops along the way and goes to the suspension bridge. Small semiprivate group. Nicole even gave us some photo tips
