Beautiful scenery. Plenty of opportunities to get some beautiful pictures. We had a small group and Monica was our driver. She was awesome and shared a lot of history with us. She also knew some great places to stop so we could get some good photos. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re not able to walk long distances. It’s a very easy tour.

Such a fun tour! Beautiful views along the route. Plenty of opportunities for photos. The views at the suspension bridge are spectacular! I thought there might be more education at the musher camp, but it was just spending time with the puppies (and who doesn’t love that?!) Trey was a wonderful tour guide adding humor and insight along the way!

You have to spend a little bit more time than you would expect in the bus. That being said, Mariah was filled with extensive facts and information about everything you see in the bus along the way. At no time did you ever feel like you just needed to get out of the bus. It's one of the most beautiful drives you could imagine. There was plenty of time to stop for photo ops along the way, at the dog camp, and at the suspension bridge as well as a lake. There was an enjoyable cafe at the suspension bridge, as well as a gift shop. Mariah knew everyone at every stop personally and they were very happy to work with her and take care of her tour members.

Fantastic Excursion

Mariah was top notch! She made the tour memorable and loved her humor. She stopped many times for pictures and beautiful scenery. Skagway tours is lucky to have her. 5 stars all around

Good tour during a cruise stop in Skagway. Stops were interesting and fun - especially the puppies and the bridge. Very Good tour guide/bus driver

Great Alternative to the Train

MICHELE_H, Sep 2025
Perfect way to see the scenery from Skagway to Yukon. The guide, Trey, was very informative and personable. He is also a safe driver which is comforting on the mountain road. We enjoyed the suspension bridge, visiting the sled dog camp, and the scenic stops along the route.

Absolutely Fabulous

Heidi_C, Sep 2025
Fabulous tour, lots of photo stops, suspension bridge was awesome, puppies were super cute and cuddly. Trey the guide/driver was excellent. Only thing I would say is bring cash to get treats for the bigger puppies.

Lots to see, great tour guide, bus itself not great

Teresa_S, Sep 2025
This is a comprehensive tour of the area with an entertaining and helpful guide. The choice to use a school bus instead of a more upscale charter bus made me give this tour only 4 out of 5 stars. These buses are not meant for adults and by the 5th time getting pushed into, or smacked by a backpack, by someone just trying to move down the aisle, I knew this would be the main criticism of the trip. Otherwise there were many picturesque stops, a beautiful drive and an entertaining driver. The Yukon suspension bridge was the highlight. The sled dog puppies should have been fun, but the dogs are barely socialized, are fearful of people and make you feel bad just to pet them. More work needs to be done at the dog camp to socialize these dogs, or not have visitors at all.

Highly recommended. Would take it again.

Great experience!!

donna_c, Sep 2025
This was a great tour! Will was our guide. He was great! He had a lot of knowledge about the area. He also told us funny stories. He’s very entertaining. We got to see many sites. The puppies were so cute; got to hold them & pet & feed them treats. It was so much fun. We saw some beautiful s scenery! I even walked across the suspension bridge. It wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. We also saw some waterfalls too.

Our driver Daniel Hawkins was great. So knowledgeable and funny. Gave all of the customers extra attention when needed.

David_T, Sep 2025
Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. He reminded everyone our time limit at each stop and was always ready to give an answer to all of our questions. Also let people know they you must have a valid passport and ID to cross the US/Canadian border.

We loved it!!

Brandie_B, Sep 2025
Our guide Will was awesome!!! The views were stunning and we loved the stops for photo ops! The bison chilli at the bridge is delicious! Maybe pack some snacks and bring cash for the dog biscuits!

Great for families and all ages!

Mollie_B, Sep 2025
This was a shore excursion for our family of 11 people. All 3 generations enjoyed each stop. The views were fantastic and the sled puppies were adorable. This company was very friendly and our guide was funny and charismatic.

Fabulous tour. Even more fabulous tour guide. Will is epic!!

Suzette_D, Sep 2025
Will gave us one of the best tours we have ever taken. He was funny, engaging, and gave us a great perspective of the history of Skagway . The scenery was epic, and it was so nice being able to see an area of Alaska we have not seen before. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to have a few laughs while enjoying some of the most beautiful landscape in the world. And you even get to cross the Canadian border as you go into the Yukon. If every Tour Guide was like Will, there would only be five stars listed. He even took the time to take pictures of each and everyone of the people on the bus when we got to the Yukon and Canadian signs. I’ve never seen a Tour Guide so interactive and wanting to make sure we had a great time. Make sure to try the bison chili when you stop at the suspension bridge. Thank you Will for making our day so enjoyable 😊😊😊😊😊

So worth the money! Don’t THINK TWICE!!!

ANDREA_A, Sep 2025

Lovely scenic stops, and our bus driver tour guide was exceptional. Many stories and info along the trip. The puppy time was awesome. Buy treats and get more attention from them. Recommend it for everyone.

Amazing Tour and Tour Company

Sherry_L, Sep 2025
Fantastic tour of the Yukon, the mountains and the baby huskies. Learned a lot about the Gold Rush history and stopped at all the best waterfalls and beautiful lakes surrounded by majestic mountains. What was most amazing was I had forgotten my passport, which is mandatory to travel from Alaska into Canada on this tour, and the tour company’s sister leant me her car to drive back to the ship to get my passport. She made my granddaughter’s whole vacation since the husky camp was the main thing she wanted to visit while in Alaska. Without the generous offer of her car, I would never had made it back in time for the tour and we would have missed this magical day. Thanks for your kindness and generosity!

Fun tour and beautiful views

Everything you would want to do

Thomas_K, Aug 2025
Trey was an amazing guy. Started with a quick tour of the city everything you needed to know. Been headed up into the mountains for some of the most beautiful mountains you’ve ever seen. Several stops for photos and to get out and enjoy the fresh air. This is suspension Bridge was very touristy but fun. Got some food there since we couldn’t bring food off the ship. We got to spend a lot of time with the dogs. And it was a really great make sure you’ve got some quarters or one dollar bills to buy dog food cause if you have food in your hand, they’re all over you.

Beautiful vistas and adorable puppies!

sjbest, Aug 2025
Just wow! Great vistas and the cutest puppies! And you get to put your feet in the Yukon Territory for fast moment but it counts! Our guide, Trey, was full of interesting facts and very entertaining.

Best views, so fun

Jami_B, Aug 2025
Trey was awesome. Patient, knowledgeable, fun. He made the excursion one of the highlights of our trip.

Full day Skagway!

Bena_S, Aug 2025
We had a great time! Connor was our guide and he was excellent; entertaining and such good vibes. Being a local, besides the advertised stops, he stopped multiple times at quiet, hidden spots with so much natural wonder. We chose this as an alternative to the typical White Pass train, thinking that we’d want some variety and a chance to move around more. This ended up being perfect.

Excellent combo excursion

PoChun_W, Aug 2025
