Incredible Excursion
Absolutely incredible excursion in Skagway and a huge part of that was our guide, Drake. Truly next to none. The whole experience was so well organised from the moment we got off the ship and met our guide, which made everything feel completely stress free. The bus tour itself was amazing with multiple scenic stops along the way, including the iconic Welcome to Alaska sign, and every stop honestly felt worth it.
Drake made the entire experience even better he was hilarious, so informative, full of interesting facts and stories, and he even offered to take photos for everyone which made such a difference. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best time possible. Could not recommend this excursion or Drake enough. Easily one of the highlights of our Alaska trip!

Skagway and Yukon tour.
My husband and had a fantastic time on this tour.
Our guide Mariah was excellent!
She was warm and friendly, with a great knowledge of Skagway it's history and surrounding areas. Her stories brought the tour to life.. we were lucky to see a porkopine and a bear whilst driving, Mariah stopped so that all the group could take lots of photos.
We were lucky and had amazing weather so we have lots of beautiful photographs to enjoy when back home.
We had an amazing day it was definitely one of the highlights of our Alaska visit! :)

Love love loved it!!!!
This excursion was AMAZING!!
we were there in late September/early October 2025 the weather and views were spectacular!!!
We prefer doing this excursion over the white horse pass train because the train doesn’t stop.
Our guide was more than informative, he offered to take our pics so we wouldn’t have to do selfies :)

Don't Miss This Experience!
This experience was my husband's and my favorite part of our trip to Alaska. The first part of the trip was on a bus, and the guide gave us information on the area and the things we passed as we drove. Once we got to the base camp area, we got on a Unimog, which was a big truck with giant tires. The rest of the ride to the dog sleds was rough, and a little scary if you were sitting on the edge, but it was fun, and the scenery was beautiful. If you like riding ATVs, it's a similar experience. When we got to the top, the dogs were already hooked up to the carts and ready to go. We got on the carts and the dogs took off, and we couldn't believe how fast they were. It was so much fun racing through the forest, and the forest itself just looks so unreal and magical. After we were done with our ride, we got to meet and pet the sled dogs, then we got back on the Unimog and rode down to a beautiful overlook where we took pictures. After looking around there for a few minutes, we finished our ride back to the base camp. At the base camp we met some retired sled dogs and learned more about the dogs and the Iditarod, which is the race the dogs are training for. Next we met the older puppies at the camp, then we got to hold the youngest puppies. After we were done we had a few minutes to look around the store and the coffee shop, then we got back on the bus and rode back to town. During the ride back, the driver gave us more information about the area and we tried to spot wildlife.
I can't recommend this experience enough!

Great Tour with a wonderful tour company
The White Pass tour was an absolute highlight of our Alaska cruise! The company was welcoming and incredibly accommodating, making everything smooth and stress-free. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the area’s history and scenery. We loved the many photo stops, each one more beautiful than the last. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the breathtaking beauty of Alaska and the White Pass.

Nice leisurely float
it is a slow float and no exertion is required other than sitting and holding on to the side of the raft
Owen the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us info about the area the habitat, the vegetation, the weather, the price of living there and a bit about his background

Great Alternative to the Train
Perfect way to see the scenery from Skagway to Yukon. The guide, Trey, was very informative and personable. He is also a safe driver which is comforting on the mountain road. We enjoyed the suspension bridge, visiting the sled dog camp, and the scenic stops along the route.

A fantastic tour and tour guide
I have done a lot of tours all over the world and by far Mike was the best tour guide we have ever had. Mike is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. On top of all that the places we saw were incredible. I would highly recommend this tour and if you are fortunate enough to get Mike as your guide you will have a great trip.

A little rushed but great picture spots.
It was a little "rushed" feeling. Especially with one group on the bus being from a different ship and having a short window for the trip. The driver was friendly and great. The bridge does a scavenger hunt for kids. They also have homemade bison chili and jerky that is delicious. I do like that you get to stop and take pictures vs the train. Overall still a good 1/2 day trip.

As many said here, better than the expensive train!!
So I booked this tour thinking that it was the Train tour. Well well… it turned out that this minibus options were beyond better than taking the train. They took us to a historic tour in the city then we went to the mountains (same as those with the train) what makes this tour great is that they visit many places that the train can’t and also you will be stopping at the best views for pictures. We even crossed to Canada wow! Water Falls, lakes on top of the mountains, welcome to Alaska sign, city view from over the mountains, all of that included! I am happy of having made the mistake of booking this option :)

This was a really great...
This was a really great experience at the Yukon suspension bridge itself. We enjoyed the scenery. The facility was very clean and very nicely put together. But I would say that the best part about this trip was our driver/host, Pat Kennedy. He was very knowledgeable and stopped and took pictures of the guest with different local attractions/areas.

Great tour with a fun group
The chances of spotting wildlife always vary but we saw 3 black bears 2 bald eagle young kings and about a dozen mountain goats.
The scenery is spectacular.
I was expecting to be disappoint d at the stop at Carcross but the food was good and the taxidermy display is worth seeing. Oh - and cute husky puppies!
A good tour guide makes a difference - Kenton was witty, knowledgeable and kept us laughing almost the entire way.
