Such a great tour! Loved...
Such a great tour! Loved the view of the mountain. If you choose the train you’ll be on the mountain so you’ll have less of a view. We got to make plenty of beautiful stops along the way including the Alaska sign and the outdoor museum with the suspension bridge which was definitely a highlight! Our guide Daniel was so nice and had loads of knowledge. He also had great energy for a nice relaxing tour!

Beautiful views and a bear!
We had a great day with D-hawk. Spectacular views on the entire drive and at the suspension bridge. We had the luck of getting to watch an adorable bear for a little while. It was right near the road and didn't leave when we stopped to take photos from the windows. The puppy encounter experience was underwhelming. I would recommend the version of this tour that is the bridge and summit without the dogs. There are too many people and the dogs are generally uninterested in interacting with people, especially by the afternoon.

Great tour!
Best bird watching tour ever! Ha! Connor was a great tour guide. He's witty and engaging. He definitely helped make the experience more pleasurable. The sled dog staff were kind and knowledgeable. Their love for the dogs and their training was apparent by how they treated them throughout the tour. I have a new appreciation for the sled dog sport and their handlers. I would recommend this tour!

It was one of the best...
It was one of the best part of our Alaskan cruise. All the members of our family of different ages thoroughly enjoyed the one of a kind adventure. The tour staff were really nice and excited about what they were doing, and of course the hands on experience with the dogs made it the best!

Great Tour with Very Knowledgeable Guide
We had spent the morning wandering around in downtown Skagway, then lunch at the Skagway Brewing Company before meeting Andrew, our driver, at the dock. We were in a comfortable mini-bus that allowed us to get on and off quickly. Andrew is a local and was very knowledgeable about the area. He was also very talented, reciting poems and singing ballads. We stopped at some beautiful lookouts along the Yukon Highway to look at the vista, and waterfalls and the Welcome to Alaska sign among others. We could also see the Skagway train carving a path through the mountain just parallel to the Yukon Highway. It was a beautiful summer day, and the scenery was just jaw-dropping. We stopped just short of the border with Canada, though the immigration control point is several miles in (Thus the need to bring passports). We stopped at the Gold Rush Cemetery on the outskirts of town, and had a chance to walk up the trail to see another waterfall. It was a beautiful day - money well spent and we learned a lot about the area.

Great guide and scenery
Our guide JP was great. He was very knowledge and outgoing and made our trip great with spectacular photos! We enjoyed the suspension bridge and the couple of photo stops we made. This listing states you spend 45 minutes at Bernard Lake, which is not true.

The Yukon
The trip was beautiful. Many nice stops to get good photos of the Alaska sign and the Yukon sign and Emerald Lake. It was quite a foggy day, but it was still enjoyable. Pam, our guide was fabulous. She had a lot of good stories and a lot of good information.

Entertaining and...
Entertaining and educational tour with “tall Andrew”. Very kind tour guide with a great sense of humor. Made sure to give us all the time we needed at each stop and had an answer for any of the groups questions. One of the best tours we’ve ever been on.
Be prepared for the weather to change, so dress/pack accordingly.

Do it
Nice bus with working windows. They say we did the same sights as the train, difference was we are able to stop on the bus a few times for pictures. We had a rare and warm day. The people on the train complained they were sweating, over dressed and could not put down the window. Recommend the tour. Wear hiking shoes for visiting the falls.

Beautiful Views and a Great Excursion!
This was one of the highlights of our Alaska cruise! The scenery on the drive to the Yukon Border was absolutely breathtaking, and the suspension bridge offered incredible views and great photo opportunities. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun from start to finish. If you're visiting Skagway, I highly recommend this excursion!

Her storytelling is captivating, and her cheerful, humorous attitude makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The driver was very aware...
The driver was very aware of sightings along the drive. We were able to see mountain goats, grizzly bear, and eagle nest with 2 baby eagles. Also the new turnaround of the train. The food was delicious. Sorry the sled dogs were worn out with too many earlier viewers.
