Itinerary

Your tour starts with pickup from Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf by air-conditioned bus. With your driver-guide, travel through Golden Gate Park, checking out the ample green space, windmills at Ocean Beach, and the bison paddock.

Drive down city streets lined with the colorful Victorian and Queen Anne homes that San Francisco is known for, and hear from your guide about the area’s history, from the American Indians to Spanish settlers to the Gold Rush. Ride along the Barbary Coast, and cross the Golden Gate Bridge, where you’ll stop at Vista Point for a photo op.

Other sights you see include the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio (a former Army post and now a national park site), Fisherman’s Wharf, and the neighborhoods of Chinatown and North Beach. Look out at Alcatraz Island, and stop at Twin Peaks (weather permitting) for a panoramic view that can’t be beat.

Optional upgrades include a cruise on San Francisco Bay to take in the sights from a different vantage point, or admission to the Aquarium of the Bay to learn about native marine creatures.

Was a change from Grayline to Extranomical tours, which was crap. No proper time given on spots. Made to rush. Guide was not helpful in guiding us to the bay cruise.

We enjoyed this bus tour which was a good overall view of a larger part of the city. We wish we could have arranged this tour for earlier in our stay because it did give us ideas of where to come back to in order to stay longer. We covered a lot of area on the bus so the stops were short and a bit rushed. Our guide, Michele, was knowledgeable and made the trip a very nice tour.

Great tour but very quick

The tour guides were great and the tour was awesome. It was inside a closed bus which was perfect for the cold wet weather of December. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. My only issue is it was so quick we only had a few short minutes to take pictures at the various locations. If you really want to explore and enjoy the sites I recommend a longer tour.

The Presidio, The Palace of the Arts, Golden Gate Park for sure, it's beautiful, The Golden Gate Bridge. Everything was great and informative. The tour allowed you see alot of places you may want to visit for a little while longer om your own time. Danillo and Michelle were an awesome tour guide team. I was only here for 3 days but with their information from the tour I was able to see and do alot on my own time. It's my first time visiting BUT I will definitely be back for a longer visit.

Great SF tour

We enjoyed getting the history of the important places in San Francisco. We had been in SF once before but did not know the significance of some of the places we visited then. The narrator Michelle was very clear and the driver Thomas did an excellent job of maneuvering the bus through narrow streets.

First time visit to San Francisco

This tour is good for first time visitors to San Francisco. You visit most of the tourist areas like the Golden Gate Bridge and are allowed some time to take pictures and visit gift shops. Our tour guide Michelle was knowledgeable and offered recommendations for what to do after the tour.

Loved this experience! Great way to get an introduction to the various neighborhoods and highlights of San Francisco. Included the ferry ride at the end, which was very enjoyable. Our guide and driver, Michelle and Jack, were extremely professional and helpful. The information they shared added to the overall tour experience. Disappointing.

Nothing really. The weather was against us but I feel if a bit of re-routing had been done we could have seen the Golden Gate Bridge later in the morning when the sun came through. The tour said it lasted 4 hours but we had finished after 3 hours. That hour could possibly have been used going back to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Great Riding Tour Through the City

Overall a great tour through the city but they need to include Castro with Haight Ashbury not either or. Most knowledgeable tour guide! Great stops with wonderful views from Lands End, Golden Gate and Twin Peaks! Would like to ride through all areas not just pass by. (Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, Russian Hill) I had a great time! Boat Tour left a lot to be desired.

It was a great trip, booked last minute. Saw a lot of sights, the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. The only thing I'd say is I wish the bus would pause, even for a few seconds so there is more opportunity to take photos when sights are pointed out.

I totally enjoyed the SFO City tour with informative tour guide Michelle and ever smiling driver Tony. The bus stopped at important spots, went slow around places that had significance and got to learn so much about SFO which would have got missed if ventured on own. Definitely recommend this trip for first time tourists.

Awesome driver and guide. Saw new parts of San Francisco that are hard to get to and you might miss on your own. Lots of walk around, and bathroom stops. Driver navigated Golden Gate Park driving through a 100,000 person festival so we could see the park.
